Nature lovers can walk directly into the forest and enjoy hiking, Mountain Biking, Snowshoeing, Cross Country skiing and sledding without ever entering a car. Downhill skiers can chose from Heavenly Valley, Sierra at Tahoe and Kirwood ski resorts all located within 4 to 18 miles. Golfers can enjoy multiple courses including Lake Tahoe Golf course and Edgewood home of the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Those interested in "City life" can enjoy the Casinos at State line, Restaurants, Shopping and Boating at the Shores of Lake Tahoe all within 4 miles.
