Why the Owner Chose Miller Beach
I chose Miller Beach, IN because it is THE closest beach side community to Chicago (35 minute commute, 60 min from Ohare Airport)and has the BEST sand beach and warmest water in all of Indiana. I built the Dream Retreat on a cul-de-sac street, corner lot, the only house on the corner, and have the IN Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan as my backyard. What more could you ask for? I enjoy privacy and scenic vistas; this location offers both--the closest neighbor is 350 feet away!
The Unique Benefits of this House
One of my favorite places is sitting in the Loft on the black leather sectional sofa with my feet up watching TV with friends and family (especially when it's cold out and the wood-burning stove is cranking). The views of Lake Michigan, IN Dunes National Park, and the Chicago Skyline are spectacular! I also love to watch movies in the home theater in the Rec Room, the surround sound really shakes it up. And cooking in the Pro-Chef's kitchen is a dream come true since i really love to eat!
