Our house is located in a gated community, 5 minutes walking distance from a quiet and wonderful beach, in the small village of Pauba. The beach is protected on both sides by rocky outcrops, making it very safe for children. Pauba is 1 kilometer away from Maresias, known in Brazil for its surfing.
The white sandy beach is surrounded by an amazing tropical rain forest (Mata Atlantica) which has remained intact due the mountainous nature of the terrain. The property itself is at the feet of a 300 meter (700 foot) vertical cliff, part of the Mountain Range (Sierra Madre), following the coast. There is a marvelous forest trail going from Pauba to Maresias.
The house is less than 10 years old and has all modern amenities one can expect:
- 4 bedrooms and 3 with their own full bathroom
