Imagine this: waking up to the sound of waves on the beach, fixing coffee in your cheerfully redecorated kitchen, and enjoying it on your screened in back porch? Feeling energized? Take the dog for a morning run or swim, or even hop on one of the bikes in the garage! Now it's beach time. Pack your beach toys from the garage and a snack and walk two blocks to gorgeous South Beach. The kids can take their skateboards to the skate park there, too! At night, you can stroll downtown for dinner in one of the many fine restaurants, or enjoy a backyard barbecue and mojitos long into the night back in that screened in porch. How perfect is that?
We cater to the ACTIVE set at this beach bungalow that sleeps 2-6 (six if some are children). It has one queen bedroom, a loft bedroom with twin beds, and a sleeper sofa, and there are 1.5 bathrooms. There is a garage full of great activities: bikes, beach toys, boogie board, gas grill, etc!).
It features an open floor plan, a full-featured kitchen (being remodeled - adorable! - pics coming soon!)and hardwood floors. With a new furnace and air conditioner, it is perfect for year round fun!
Our properties all provide maximum comfort, convenience, and an emphasis on recreation. Besides the bikes and beach toys, we provide games and books for rainy days, cable and dvd, and the location is so ideal that it allows you the freedom to spend your morning at the beach, afternoon shopping or biking, and evening strolling into town for dinner, a movie, shopping, whatever! There's so much to see and do!
You'll want to come back again and again to this happy little cottage!

We found this cottage in a prime location and thought it was adorable! It needed work but we had a vision for it, and the vision has been achieved. Now it is a little gem of a cottage in a great location near beautiful South Beach and downtown South Haven!

This cottage is owned by David, Michael and Sheila Wood (Dave and Mike are brothers). Sheila manages the property, so if you inquire, this is who you'll be talking with! Mike and Sheila (pictured) live in Battle Creek, Michigan but come to South Haven often. Mike works in the bicycling industry and Sheila is an English teacher.
