The convenience is unbeatable ...walk to restaurants, bars, shops, and the beautiful Fraser River Trail. Just a few steps from the townhouse, the free shuttle bus picks you up and within minutes you are at the base of the Winter Park Resort and ready to snow ski! Additionally, a Safeway supermarket is conveniently located on the free shuttle route.
Winter Park is only 90 miles from Denver International Airport, so getting here quickly, inexpensively, and in all weather conditions from most places in the USA is not a problem. Also, Amtrak runs regularly from downtown Denver to Winter Park/Fraser. You may not need a car at all!
We love our Winter Park getaway and hope you will too. It is roomy enough for two families to share and enjoy a memorable vacation. This unit is privately owned and managed, and we take pride in our home and expect renters to treat our home as if it were their own. This is a non-smoking and pet-free home.

MASTER BEDROOM (top floor) - 1 KING sized bed with attached bathroom - shower, dual vanity, and soaking tub. Also included full walk-in closet, sitting area, and cable TV. Sleeps 2.
2nd MASTER BEDROOM (top floor) - 1 QUEEN sized bed with attached bathroom - shower/tub combo and single vanity. Sleeps 2.
3rd BEDROOM (top floor) - 1 log BUNK BED with full mattress on bottom and twin mattress on top. Bathroom with shower / tub and single vanity in hallway outside and washer / dryer in hallway. Sleeps 2 to 3.
4th BEDROOM (bottom floor) - 2 BUNK BEDS with 4 twin mattresses with bathroom just outside door with shower/tub and single vanity. Sleeps 4.
Office with Futon (bottom floor) - 1 futon that can sleep one additional person if need be. Next to 4th bedroom and bathroom. Can sleep 1.

Comfortable, beautiful and convenient are just a few of the things I found while enjoying my weekend in this Winter Park townhome. Its interior set the mood for enjoyment as I wandered each room and enjoyed the beauty to be had! The house is warm and inviting and holds a group comfortably. The vaulted ceilings made the house feel more open creating what appeared to be more space, with plenty of windows throughout to enjoy the Colorado beauty. A few of the amenities that made my stay so enjoyable were: the hot tub; the privacy that each floor allowed; the computer at my disposal; the large kitchen with updated appliances, plenty of cooking utensils; and plenty of seating both in the kitchen as well as the dining room.
The convenience of being right off the main street made it easy to move around town. You can practically walk to everything. There is so much to offer in Winter Park, such as shopping, the local pub, the skate park, the playground, numerous restaurants, hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, 4-wheel drive trails and so much more! You can also be picked up steps from the Townhouse on the free shuttle bus and taken to Winter Park Resort. There is something to do for everyone!

Why the Owner Chose Red Quill Village
We love skiing and have skied all over the world, and we were looking for a great mountain that was family friendly. We did a ski vacation in 2006 and we were hooked! Winter Park has it all - a huge mountain for all ski levels, family friendly, good nightlife, affordable, laid back, and is an authentic and genuine Colorado town.
We live in the East and chose Winter Park because it is easy to get here from Denver International Airport (DEN) and relatively inexpensive to fly in and out of here from most places in the US.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Our place is huge - it is spread out over multiple levels - 3 bedrooms on the top floor, kitchen and great room on the middle levels, and office and 4th bedroom in the basement. We typically have 2 families staying at one time, but you never feel crowded or on top of one another given all the levels. If people want to sleep early or late, it's easy to do so and not be disturbed. Also, kids can play in a separate area and not bother the adults.
The other great thing is how close it is to everything in town - it is walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and bars so that once you are here you really don't need a car. Also, we are a 2 minute walk to the shuttle stop to the ski area up on the main street. Due to the frequent shuttles, it is only a few minutes to the ski area (2 miles away). We also like to drive up to Mary Jane and park the car and just walk to the lifts there - the parking is free and it's convenient!
100 Yards from our front door, 4 different shuttle lines stop here so you never wait more than a couple of minutes. It's only a short 2 miles up to the ski area!
Just behind our place is the Vasquez River and the trail that runs along it. It is a nice walk through the woods up to Hideaway Park in the center of Winter Park.
Within a short 2-5 minute walk, there are approximately 20 different restaurants (Mexican, Sushi, Pizza, Pubs, Indian, etc.) for you to choose from.
In winter, there is a sledding hill for the young kids. In summer, there are concerts every week if not a couple of times a week.

The property was fantastic for our group of ten! The accommodations were exactly as described with plenty of room, a convenient location, and fantastic amenities. The location of the property was within walking distance of restaurants, ski rentals, convenience store, and the bus pick up for the resort. The hot tub was very well maintained and hot, hot, hot! When we return to Winter Park, this location will be at the top of our list! Thanks!

Our family of 10 recently stayed at this townhome and we had such a wonderful time here and in Winter Park. There was sufficient room for privacy for everyone to have their "own space" and a good size dining /living room to gather to watch movies together and play games. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking so easy--even for a large holiday meal. When we arrived, we felt as if we were at home in a strange place, but truly comfortable with everything that we would need. We made good use of the grill on the balcony, the hot tub, and the laundry facilities. Karl had told me that the shuttle to the slopes was near--well that was certainly true, right outside the back door and that was wonderful. The shuttle going the other direction to the grocery store was also very convenient. Having never been to Winter Park before, I relied on Karl for advice about restaurants, snowmobile tours and tubing and his advice was alwys "right on". It really helped me to get things organized before getting there and and not having toworry about the holiday crowds. The townhome is quite near most everything in town , so one can walk to lots of good restaurants and shopping---yet it is very quiet. The pictures on the internet really don't show how much room is actually in the townhome and with the various levels, I am sure that it is hard to capture that in pictures. Just to suffice that it is beautiful and should be quite comfortable for a larger group. Only one problem. My husband likes to get up early in the morning and was totally taken with the kitchen table in close proximity to the fireplace. He conisdered that "his place" and he unfortunately could not take it home with him.. Thanks Karl for the assistance

This is a wonderful townhome that accomodated our two families of 10 very comfortably. The pictures don't do the home justice - there's tons of room. The owner was very helpful and made everything easy. The kitchen was very well stocked and made meal preparation a breeze. The kids loved the hot tub after skiing. We stayed the week after Christmas and enjoyed a fireworks display right off the rear balcony on New Years Eve. There's not a better place to stay in Winter Park.

We brought our 5 children here for Spring Break this year (2009) - it was absolutely AMAZING! This is definitely a luxury townhome - spacious and beautifully decorated. We immediately felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. It is walking distance to restaurants, a sledding park and shops. The bus to the ski lifts is also walking distance. A huge hot tub (our family of 7 all fit in with no problem) right at your back door is such a nice way to end a day of skiing. The kitchen, with its own fireplace is so warm and cozy. All the appliances, including the washer and dryer, are top of the line. We would recommend this gorgeous home to anyone and everyone who wants one of the best places to stay in Winter Park!

Had a great stay at the condo, with a group of 9. Plenty of room, well appointed. 2 minute walk to shuttles. Near all of the restaurants. The owner is very helpful. I will definitely stay here the next Winter Park trip I plan.

Had a great Christmas Ski break in the house. Loads of space, great kitchen, very convenient location for ski bus, a great brew pub/restaurant on your doorstep. Amenities (internet, tv, dvd) all worked. Will be top of my short list for the next big group break in Winter Park!
