My stay was wonderful. This is my third year at Island Club and this is the best unit I've stayed in. The condo was exactly as described in the listing and the view is fantastic. Everything was clean and ready to move in to. The owners were a dream to work with and I would definitely recommend this property to others (as long as they don't want the same time period I do). Also, Island Club is very close to all of the shopping,restaurants and activites you could hope to visit while here, especially, Harbor Town, Pineland Station, Coligny Square, for shopping,, Pirate Golf, and Skull Harbor, Old Oyster Factory, Crazy Crab and Topside Waterfront restaurants. I also enjoyed visiting South Beach and the Salty Dog, but basically I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and the sound of the waves while reading a good book. I will definitely return.

The good stuff: The condo was very well equipped and was very clean. The proximity of the unit within the complex was perfect; close to elevator, short walk to pool and short walk to beach. The children's pool area was awesome, as was the playground. Our favorite places to eat were Stacks for breakfast and Crazy Crab for lunch/dinner. We love HHI and booked this unit due to the unrestricted view of the ocean (which can be tough to find). With young children, vacations are often spent with long spurts in the unit so we counted on the relaxing sounds of the ocean and the "breathtaking" view as described. It should be noted that the owner was very concerned about the situation outlined below but the rental company, Hilton Head Rentals did not seem to care. We regret that we need to leave these comments but we want to make sure the situation does not happen to others. The bad: We arrived at the unit and our view was restricted by painting cranes (big ones). Apparently, the unit was under maintenance during the time we were staying. We were never notified of this prior to our arrival and when we notified HH Rentals, they said that there was a clause in our contract. We spent 3 days with work crews suddenly appearing on our balcony to paint it (without warning), with slightly obstructed to fully obstructed views due to the cranes, and with a never ending BEEP BEEP BEEP that is associated with crane machinery. Imagine a big truck backing up over and over and over. We ended up leaving a day early because it just was not worth the frustration. Our boys couldn't take a nap during the day due to the noise and our "breathtaking view" turned out to be only a wish. **We would absolutely rent this unit again due to the condition of the unit and the location/amenities** We will, however, always ask about maintenance/remodeling schedules ahead of time. We hold HH Rentals accountable for not being transparent about this work prior to our arrival.

We live out-of-state and we were not aware work was being performed. We provided an immediate adjustment and apologized profusely for the situation. We’re glad to know our guests “would absolutely rent this unit again due to the condition of the unit and the location/amenities” and look forward to them returning.

We stayed at this unit with our 2 teenagers and had a fabulous time!! The unit was well stocked and had all the amenities of home. The unit itself was conveniently located to the clubhouse and pool and better yet, directly on the beach with a gorgeous view. Island Club resort is very nicely maintained and it's location on the island is before the heavily populated spots so traffic was rarely an issue when having to go to the grocery store and such. The unit was fairly clean and the only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating is the entryway. Door looked shabby and blinds were in a disarray - wasn't quite sure what to expect when walking in. There was a stain on the carpet as you walked in which didn't provide a favorable "first impression" but in retrospect when you are renting a unit that is a year round rental - one should expect certain things like this. Overall - great location and great value. We would definitely rent here again!!

We've also asked the rental company that we use to manage our villa to monitor the carpet more closely and schedule more frequent steam cleanings, so our guests will love the villa from the moment they walk in! We've stayed at Island club many times, This time was the best. This Villa is well kept up, and well stocked. It had everything we needed, plus the view was fantastic! We've stayed in other buildings there, and this had the best view of the ocean. It was all as promised, with no surprises. I've noticed Island club does do a good job of maintaining the property. It is on the ocean, so it is exposed to the weather and salt air, but they keep it up well. The ocean access, pool, and easy access to everything on Hilton head makes for a family friendly trip. I'd rent it again, no question! Best trip we've had as a family (2 teenagers, plus two adults)

Thank you!! We had a relaxing beach vacation. Can't beat the location - only a minute walk to the beach, very convenient for a family with two young children and the view from the balcony was beautiful. We saw dolphins swimming up and down the beach and my parents could watch the kids play on the beach from the balcony. Very, very relaxing and wonderful. Thank you again.

Location...location...location. The view from the condo made you feel like you were right on the beach. It gave easy access 2 ways to a quiet section of the beach that was perfect. Short walk (even with 3 kids in tow) to the pool. Gardens and landscaping was spectacular around the complex. Playground was nice as well. The condo was comfortable and accomodating. Thank you for letting us share your vacation home.

We loved our stay!! Very convenient. First time EVER that a place we stayed was equipped with everything we needed - kitchen supplies stocked well - I spend most of my vacation time inside enjoying fixing meals for my family. The view from the balcony made me feel as if I was on the beach. Having young adults, some enjoying the pool and some the ocean, your condo was perfect to satisfy everyone. We've stayed at the other end of the island before and really enjoy this end better. Not as crowded on the beach. Clean - relaxing. Many Thanks!!

We have stayed at the Island Club for 6 years now and this condo was by far our favorite! We loved the beautiful ocean view and the clean and comfortable accomodations. We will definitly be staying here from now on!

Our family stayed in this villa and without a doubt had one of the best stays we have ever had. The views from this villa are absolutely breathtaking. We were especially pleased with the convenience to the beach as well as all of the amenities that the Island Club offers. It was very clean and well maintained. We have a 10-yr. old and a baby, which can make it difficult to travel sometimes, but the floor plan made it easy for everyone to be comfortable and happy. We would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed in this wonderful oceanfront condominium and enjoyed it immensely. The living area is incredibly spacious and every room is clean and inviting. The view is beautiful and the Island Club is well located on the island and close to everything! I would definently return to this condo!

My husband and I loved the beautiful ocean views from this condo!! The inside of the condo was very clean and nicely decorated too...being located directly on the ocean/beach was fantastic!! The grounds were beautiful as well, gardens,swimming pool,tennis courts and more!! We highly recommend this specific condo and we will be back again soon to stay there!!
