We had a wonderful 2 week stay at "Solitude" with our friends. The condo was described as 2 bedrooms and a loft with 2 single beds convertible to a king. The condo is beautifully decorated and had everything needed to cook. We ate every meal in the lanai as the weather was perfect during our whole stay. Denise kindly sent a great deal of info about the area beach spots and restaurants. We ate at Huggo's,at an ocean side table,very enjoyable although they had a little trouble accommodating a vegetarian. Bongo Bens was fine, we ate twice at Samchoy's and loved it. We had breakfast twice at the Kona Country Gulf Club,delicious. We bought souvenirs at the Saturday market in town and we beached most often at the white sandy beach on the way into town. Now, back to the condo...There were beach towels,beach shoes,boogie boards, and other beach stuff...chairs etc. The linens and towels were very good quality, the beds were very comfortable...I really can't come up with a negative thing to say... So will conclude by saying it was a most wonderful holiday In a magical,tropical setting, Our first time to Hawaii and would love to return some day. Thank you, Denise, for everything.

SOLITUDE On the ocean, a superior condo rental and very very large. At the Kanaloa. Nice grounds and amenities. Very secure (staffed security gate) in an upscale neighborhood. Scenic view, close to excellent snorkeling and beach, shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. Walking distance to beautiful golf course and shopping center. This condo is oceanfront, well maintained, upgraded, and wonderful for sunset views and dinners on the lanai. It had everything we needed, including beach towels, boogie boards, books on the island, snorkeling, etc. We would highly recommend "Solitude" at the Kanaloa in Kona Hawaii.

Loved “Solitude”! It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was perfect and right on the Ocean. Aside from the lovely loft and the very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, we enjoyed all the little "extra" touches! Having books and videos for the little one in the group was very helpful. Having beach towels and other water accessories available came in handy. Although not needed, having spare flashlights, batteries, laundry detergent, etc. was very kind of the owner to provide. There was a waffle maker. We were able to make waffles, every morning during our stay. We loved the condo, and love sitting on the lanai soaking up the Pacific Ocean breezes. The owner sent a lot of paperwork describing places to go and fun activities. Very thoughtful. We would highly recommend the location as well.
