This is the second time we have rented the condo from Steve at Mountain Shadow. He asked if we would be willing to write a review and I agreed, but I have so many good things to say that I am worried it won't be available when I want to rent it!! It is beautifully decorated, very clean and quiet. The view from the huge windows is amazing. It is close to great shopping and restaurants. I would like laundry facilities right in the unit, but they are actually quite convenient right across the hall. We love the feature of the indoor pool.

Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing.

Steve, have been meaning to do this since we got home to our hectic life. Wish I was still there! The condo was so perfect... the location, the furnishings in the condo, the pool, everything! We enjoyed the view of the mountains and the lights of the city. You have provided everything anyone could possibly need.My husband loved the coffee press. We took a long side trip almost every day and it was so nice to come back to our cozy little apartment each night. We have recommended your place to friends and family and we will certainly be back.

Steve was wonderful. He met us even late in the evening. The condo was just as the pictures show, but the view was fantastic day and night. We were glad there was a coffee press. Cherry Creek was recommend to us by a Denverite. The building was quiet and safe - good nights sleep every night. We found a good workout and exploration using a B-cycle at the mall, which Steve took the time to point out to us. There is a grocery store right across the street and a Whole Foods within walking distance. The Farmer's Market is in the mall parking lot on Wed & Sat a.m. We found friendly knowledgeable merchants at Cost Plus World market located in the mall parking lot. Places we found worth eating -Encore, Washington Park Grill, Highlands Cork & Coffee, and Mercury Cafe. The Mercury Cafe is an experience worth noting - cultural, eclectic, cool music, superior service. We have stayed at several VRBO all have been worth every penny.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Steve's condo in the heart of Cherry Creek. We were visiting my son and his family. The condo has a wonderful view of the mountains and is well-appointed and decorated.. All the kitchen items one would need are available and the TV and cable accessibility is good The queen bed is extremely comfortable. We used the fitness area for exercising and there is also an indoor pool available. Most importantly for us was Gates Tennis Center which is a simple 2 block walk from the condo. This is a spectacular public facility. Also, the Cherry Creek Mall is within a 2 block walk and most of the Cherry Creek shopping is extremely accessible. The building security is excellent and there is a common area for having family parties.Steve is a responsive condo owner who was just a phone call away if something arose. In short, the condo is terrific and am certain that we will be returning soon.

What a great Condo, very close to shops, bus stops, restaurants etc, great view of the mountains and the CBD, all the amenities that you need, very well equipped and maintained, Steve was very helpful and was available for any queries. Would stay again and recommend it. Only concern was the slight ticking sound in the bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay in Denver and it was enhanced by staying in Steve's condo. It was centrally located, convenient to downtown and relaxing to be in Cherry Creek. It was wonderful to have an indoor pool to swim laps on cold snowy days!

We absolutely loved this lovely condo in the sky. The condo was so well equipped and very nicely furnished. We felt so comfortable right from the first minute we met Steven. He took his time to show us the great pool and exercise area plus he took us up and showed us what we needed to know inside the condo. Loved having internet. The view of the mountains in the AM and the city lights at night was wonderful. Everything was so convenient with many restaurants within walking distance and shopping across the street. We want to come back!

I lived in Denver for 20 years quite near this condo. My week rental felt like returning home. It had absolutely everything I needed - view, parking, laundry, completely equipped kitchen, lovely linnens, great TV, alarm. I'll for sure stay again when I go back to visit.

Sandy and I have stayed in other condos in Denver and this is by far and away the best experience we've had....the layout is wonderful, the location across from the Cherry Creek mall and shopping area is convenient, the view is fantastic, and Steve was great to work with. This Condo is a true find. Spectacular view, extremely well furnished and an unbeatable location. Steve is gracious and accomodating. He is a pleasure to deal with. Because our daughter and son in law live nearby with our new grandaughter, we expect to return as often as possible. It's good to know that we now have a place to stay that feels like home.

My wife and I stayed at Steve's condo in April 2009.It was a perfect location, Cherry Creek has a great restaurant area which is in easy walking distance from the condo.The condo has all the comforts of home with a very good bed. The view of the mountains is breathtaking from the 14th floor, and if you are there in the snow season the snow falling just adds to the spectacle. We cant say enough about this accommodation, Steve is very obliging and is there to help out if needed.

We had a great time at the apartment: it was convenient to everything we needed and the view was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and gym equipment. Would definitely stay again: excellent value.

Recently a friend from France paid me a visit and we decided to spend the week at Steve's condo instead of at home in the suburbs. The location was perfect--I was 5 minutes away from my downtown office, and my friend was able to explore Cherry Creek, its shops, restaurants, surrounding neighborhoods, and all of downtown, on foot. Easy, convenient bus routes available from the condo to other parts of town when the weather hits, too. The condo itself is very comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Highly recommended. Thanks Steve.

This condo is a little jewel! In a fantastic location within walking distance to everything Cherry Creek has to offer, incredible views over the city and to the mountains, beautifully decorated and outfitted, wonderfully comfortable bed with expensive linens, and a very helpful and accommodating host! What more could anyone want? I thoroughly enjoyed my week in the city in my new home away from home, and can't recommend it strongly enough to anyone wanting a fabulous place to stay.

This was our home away from home for 2 months. It is so well located-we walked everywhere! Cultural events and the downtown scene are minutes away. The apartment itself has spectacular views and is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped-not always the case in other properties we've stayed in. Steve is very helpful if anything comes up. Whole Foods, great restaurants, galleries, the Cherry Creek Mall-even the Farmer's Market- are all just short walks away. All in all, we loved it and recommend it highly. We certainly intend to return whenever we go to Denver.

I have been to Denver several times now and this is by far the best place that I have stayed! Last year the place I stayed said it was "in the Cherry Creek District" and it was a good three miles from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, I was so disappointed. This condo is literally one street away to the Cherry Street Shopping Center, you can easily walk. It is one of the better parts of Denver, and it truly did have amazing views. From the balcony area (that was inside) you could see the CCSC and beyond that the Mountain View was breathtaking! The condo was very nice; I loved the bed and since I am a night owl and my husband is not, I loved having a living room where I could stay up a little later without bothering him. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with anything you needed to cook a meal, and plenty of dishes. The bathroom was amazing with a deep soaking tub. The best thing was the price, I couldn't believe what a great deal it was! Steve was very nice and was actually there if you needed something. I will definitely recommend this to people and would love to stay there again!

This condo is nicely appointed and VERY comfortable. The location is convenient to everything and is in a quiet, safe location. There is no shortage of shops and restaurants to choose from. It was also an easy drive to the Denver Tech Center. Bring your bathing suit - the hot tub and pool are very clean and feel great after a day on the slopes... or shopping! My favorite feature was the French press for my morning coffee :-) Thanks Steve!

this is a great Condo located just steps from all the amenities of The Cherry Creek area and only 5-10 minutes from downtown Denver. The condo has unobstucted western views and a great amenity package with a pool,workout facility and a Hot Tub.
