We recently upgraded the kitchen and two bathrooms with stone tiles and granite countertops.
Many decorative metal pictures of local lartist Julian Garcia from San Jose del Cabo's art district, are featured in the living area and bedrooms.
Ideally, this condo would suit two couples who want to share in the condo equally. There is a king bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom is roughly the same in size, opening to its own balcony area, independent bathrooms, and access to the living/kitchen area.
The grounds area tastefully landscaped, with both tropical and desert gardens, featuring three gorgeous pools, waterfalls and swim-up bar, adjacent hot tubs in each of the three phases of the complex, yet open to all guests.
There is a full featured gym, free weights, nautilus equipment, and tennis court.
Continuous sidewalks from Las Mananitas to San Jose afford walking to historic downtown San Jose, a flat but hot walk, but bicycles available from activity centers for the more active person.
Neighboring world class golf course.
The region is especially known for its golf and fishing but activities also include ATVs, kayaking, zipper's surf beach and some of the best Pacific scuba diving; Cabo Pulmo, Cabo San Lucas and Gordo Banks.
San Jose restaurants are indeed gourmet but you should not miss the local eateries featuring the local tacos and burritos.
Car rentals nearby, and great bus service to Cabo San Lucas or La Paz, Baja.
Satellite Dishnet TV available in both bedrooms and living area.
Stereo system plays MP3s as well DVD playback. DVD selection available in the condo but Blockbuster is within walking distance and your membership is valid here in Mexico.

Why the Owner Chose Las Mananitas
Baja in general is beautiful. We discovered Loreto first and still want to return, but Cabo called several times, and San Jose del Cabo as a quieter area in Cabo and still containing some historic spanish building downtown seemed to be a gem. This is a great place to visit. If I lived here, I might choose another off grid location in the cape as solar power here would almost never be affected by downpours or overcast days.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Not for everybody, but we enjoy being able to walk to downtown San Jose del Cabo and also take the bus to Cabo (across from Las Mananitas). Rental cars are nearby but we seldom use them except when visitors stay with us.
This condo has more features than we can imagine as we live in a great beach house in Panama, but off grid, powered by solar panels and a wind generator. We think this place has everything we need to recharge "our batteries" and even though you probably do not live off grid, I am confident that Las Mananitas and "Cabo" can recharge yours too.
Phase 1 consists of 52 total units in 4 buildings, the main one being the horseshoe shape centred in the photo facing the San Jose's beach. It has three pools adjoined by a small decorative waterfall
Groceries and household items in large clean supermarket. In mall area are several fast food eateries.

Retired and living in Panama now after living in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Barbados. Fell in love with Latin America in general after living in Brazil and discovering how different each country is especially compared to my native Canada but to each other. Mexico and Brazil are the two great people countries of LA and have distinct cultures and histories. The food for one is completely different.
We travel to Mexico for our desert break of sun and sand, where we mostly sit and read after living in the hot humid jungle on an island in Panama's Caribbean, Bocas del Toro, Isla Colon.
