Hi Christine, Yes, it was a very nice vacation! Your condo was great. Being able to have the space and ability to cook at home was so convenient. We were glad the housekeeper was able to drop off the fuel tank - she called just as I was going to make everything inside, so I was able to take it off the heat and wait until she got there (~30 min later). So we got to grill! Thank you for following up. We look forward to our next trip to the Big Island - we'll be sure to look you up again.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door. This is not your typical rental property. The description is completely accurate. The complex is small, quiet, very well maintained and perfectly situated within the Mauna Lani development. Christine, you are great to deal with and the information package was very helpful. Our favourite place to eat was Cafe Pesto in Kawaihae; everything we tried was good and the prices were reasonable (the pizza is a must try). This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Can't wait to come back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. We were there in early February 2012. The condo was generously stocked with all available amenities that you would need on your vacation. The place is very clean and perfect for children (we had a 4yo & 7yo). The beach club is awesome and we spent quite bait of time there. Last year we stayed in a comparable type of condo in Waikoloa but this place was much better, not to mention we like Mauna Lani better than Waikoloa. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I recommend staying at this condo for so many reasons. I was a beautiful home in a perfect location. The home had everything!!! You truely could arrive with a few items of clothing and personal items and feel like you were in your own home. We enjoyed our stay very much. The renting process was very simple and straight forward. The home is nicer than the photos, it is in a nice spot in the complex and very quiet and relaxing. The owners are honest and helpful, it was a pleasure to rent from them. I am looking forward to my next stay!!!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as my friends, sister and I did!!!!!

When searching through the multiple rental listings for us to stay at, I kept going back to this one. What caught my eye on this location was the many wonderful reviews on it...all of which were favorable, extremely informative and as I found out once we stayed at the property...right on the mark! It felt like walking into our second home instead of a rental property. All of the extra's that were included (kids toys, razors, beach toys, high chair, coolers, etc) allowed us to enjoy our vacation without having to pack everything including the kitchen sink or run down to the store to purchase it! I also loved all of the personal touches that were included...the guide to everything book that Christine put together was extremely helpful as we referred to it on many occasions (and that fresh fish market was awesome!). Everything was just perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you Christine for offering up your lovely home for us to enjoy during our vacation...we will definitely be returning!

Recommended for:Families with young children, tourists without a car.

The Mauna Lani development continues to be my favorite place to stay and this was an excellent rental. The house was clean, well-decorated and had excellent amentities to make the stay more comfortable. Some examples were boogie boards, scooters, beach bags, coolers and kitchen condiments/spices. While we didn't have young children with us, we were amazed at how much was available for even a baby and small children! We did have a great experience and the owner was very easy to work with. I highly recommend this rental!

Hello Christine, Thanks so very much for the use of your awesome condo this past week! We had a terrific time and were so impressed with all the homey touches you have in place, how well-stocked your beautiful kitchen was, and especially at the amazing selection of beach and baby stuff you had. Everyone, from our 8 month old (who loved your exersaucer and the pool floaties) to my parents who are in their 70's and haven't been to Hawaii in decades, absolutely loved it and had a terrific time. We'd definitely recommend your unit in the future!

Hi Christine: We’re back in Canada. I started missing the condo pretty much as soon as I locked the door. The condo was fabulous—we really enjoyed our 3 weeks. This year we did more things from your activities list. Our 3 favorities was the Kuhana? Ranch, Hula Daddy’s, and the Beach Club for supper. It’s really a great list you put together—we seem to have similar tastes. I believe we left pretty much everything the same. I changed the empty propane tank and used the full one in the garage. I also bought some batteries for the animal train—wouldn’t be the same without that (there’s a few extra batteries in the TV stand drawers. It’s great having the kitchen supply’s and the spices. People can add and replace things. We do a fair bit of cooking. We heard some people in other condo’s need to throw everything out. Just wanted to say thank you for everything. We loved our stay and the late check-out is also very much appreciated. We’re already thinking about coming again next year.

Hi Christine, We had a wonderful time on our vacation and your condo was really fantastic. There was plenty of room for all and the kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed the flower arrangement - a very nice special touch. The property is in excellent repair and was very clean when we arrived. We have stayed in many condos and they are not always as advertised. Yours was everything you promised and more. As far as the kids were concerned the best thing about the condo was the beach toys. We didn't miss a day making sand castles and riding the boogie boards. We really appreciated having those things available and not needing to go off to Wal-Mart or Costco to buy things that we would have had to leave behind. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Fabulous Condo in Mauna Lani

I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to my friends (and I have)! We have stayed in the condo twice in the past 3 years. In fact, there was no hesitation in going back to the property or the location on the Big Island. We have been all over Hawaii, and really love the Big Island. The condo is located near Hapuna Beach (great body surfing), Puakolo (just what you'd picture a Hawaiian beach to be), a beautiful black sand beach in Mauna Lani and of course the resort beaches (terrific for swimming and snorkling). The condo was immaculate and accurately described. The Island decor made you feel like you were really in Hawaii and not just in some non-descript condo anywhere. There is plenty of room for 6 people. The Palm Villas are quiet and relaxing with a nice pool around the corner. The condo comes with an assortment of beach chairs, an umbrella ands boogie boards for the using. Fresh flowers greeted us. If we go back to the Big Island, and we probably will, we will definelty stay here again, especially since the owners were so nice to deal with! Don't miss driving up to the top of Mauna Kea (awesome at sunset), or night snorkling/scuba diving with the manta rays. We used Jack's Diving locker and they are great (my whole extended family are scuba divers and love using Jack's). I can't imagine anyone being disapointed staying here!

Hi Christine, We just received the security deposit in the mail, that was very fast thank you. We want to thank you for letting us rent your lovely condo. It was our best family trip ever! We loved the Big Island and staying in such a comfortable, child friendly place was a huge part of the reason our trip was so wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the couches were comfortable, the linen was nice, lots of towels and other linens.... Our Daughter Lilly loved the toys. We still have the animal train song stuck in my head.After a day of adventure in the sun, ocean and exploring the Island it was a pleasure to come "home" to the condo. We enjoyed cooking nice meals in a fully equipped kitchen, with good chef knifes and a full array of pots, pans and other kitchen gadgets. The extra cable and PVR were also a great bonus. We tapped some shows and watched them once our 4 ½ year old was in bed. We loved the Fairmount beach and restaurants and the little grocery in Mauna Lani - good selection of food and wine. We plan on coming back to the Big Island next winter, unless we purchase a rental property, we will be booking again with you. We will also recommend your property to any of our friends and family who want to travel to Hawaii. I have attached a couple of pictures to put a picture to our names. This condo is AMAZING. We just returned from our trip to the big island and could not have chosen a better place to call home during our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Couldn't help but relax there! We have 2 young boys and the garage was stocked with things to keep them busy at the beach. The location is perfect and the condo is beyond comfortable. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is the best beach for families and only a short drive away. We had the best time! Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay in your condo! We loved the peace and quiet of the end unit over looking the open space Lava Reserve. Our kids loved running around in the yard area off the back deck of the unit while I was cooking on the built in grill--watching the sunset each night. I went for a run each morning right out the back of the unit through the paths near the Mauna Lani Fish Ponds and along the coast of residents beach and the South Golf Course...awesome views of the ocean definately inspired me. We really liked the location being so central to the Hotel so that we could walk down for breakfast each morning. Your unit was so wonderfully decorated that we felt like we were staying in a high end hotel....thanks for your simple tips on running the remote controls for the LCD HD TV's and DVD players. My wife and I brought over season four of 24 and watched every episode on the TV in the master bedroom...awesome! Thanks again...this was truly the best vacation value we have ever had and look forward to coming back soon!

We had a fantastic time at this condo which is conveniently located nearby a historic volcanic park which has fish ponds; and the condo is nicely furnished and stocked with everything you could need (especially nice for kids with toys/sun tent/plates/high chair etc.), and has wireless internet which is nice if you want to do some work while enjoying the Big Island. The access to the private beach resort a quick drive away is nice too. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this condo (and return when we go to the Big Island).
