    • We are a family with four kids, including a toddler, and this was a wonderful place to stay. The Puako area in general has the best of both worlds: It has that remote, old Hawaii feel, free of traffic and crowds, but it's minutes away from a grocery store and world-class restaurants. This home is beautifully furnished and decorated, well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable. Beautiful floors, fixtures, etc., pride of ownership really shows. It's every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures. The shoreline access a few doors down offers the most incredible snorkeling we have ever seen, and we have snorkeled all over the islands. The reef seems to go on forever, and it's full of corals and hundreds of fish. Best of all, there's rarely another soul in there with you. You have an entire under-water paradise all to yourself. Fabulous kid-friendly beaches are minutes away by car. We would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone

    • We had a great time staying here for 10 days with 4 kids ranging from 15 down to 7 yrs old. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house is beautifully furnished. The kids could walk to the shore by any one of the numerous public access points nearby. There were turtles on the shore every single time we went and the snorkeling on the reef complex in Puako Bay was the best we found on the island. In addition the 69 beach and Hapuna Bay were just a couple minutes drive away. All in all a very convenient and quiet location in a beuatiful home.

    • We loved the house! It was immaculate, great location, friendly neighborhood, nice area to walk. The kitchen was better stocked than my own home. We bought fish and vegetables at the market and made wonderful dinners. I attended a conference Feb 12th - 20th at the Fairmont Orchid, walking distance from the house. We stayed the first couple nights at the Fairmont. Everyone, including the kids prefered the house to the hotel. I definitely recommend this lovely home in Puako.

    • The rental is exactly like the pictures it is a wonderful location and extremely clean. I have tried to think of something negative to say and cannot think of a single thing. Beach gear, chairs, boogie boards and even games and toys are all provided. The owners are very easy to work, helpful and nice. We rented this in August of 2008 and will hopefully be returning soon Jed

    • This is a GREAT place to rent. Spent a wonderful month here in Summer 08. It was even cool at night! Beautifully furnished HOME, great kitchen, even has GOOD knives (Henckel), super beds. Delicious mangoes fall from the tree across the street! Snorkel the reef at Puako by walking down the road 50 yards, or drive to wonderful Hapuna beach (1/4 mile of white sand) in under 5 minutes.
