Our newly-listed 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium is located in the Villas of Walton Creek, just 200 feet from the city bus stop at the corner of Whistler and Walton Creek Roads.
This centrally located complex is perfect for vacationers during any season: a short walk along a creek-side paved path takes you in less than 10 minutes up to the gondola, ski slopes or summer hiking. A ride on the free bus gives quick access to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Shops and other activities in downtown Steamboat Springs are just two miles away on the same bus route. Regularly scheduled HDN and DIA airport shuttles pick up and drop off guests right at our door so you don't need to even have a rental car.
This immaculate and tastefully decorated upstairs unit sleeps up to six persons. Stunning views of the Thunderhead gondola and Mount Werner from the master bedroom deck and a spectacular panorama of Emerald Mountain and the Flattops from the living room deck offer guests some of the best scenery nature has to offer in the Yampa Valley. A cozy gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings in both the living room and bedroom add to the architectural features and help provide a comfortable and relaxed ambiance. In the summer, the living room ceiling fan and the two sliding glass doors provide very good cross-ventilation.
We are the original owners of this 1087 square foot, two-bedroom apartment built in 1999. Carefully chosen quality pieces of rustic lodgepole pine furniture and vintage European ski posters create a distinctive chalet-like mountain atmosphere throughout the beautifully decorated apartment.
Guests have access to two, year-round, outdoor hot tubs located steps away from our building. The dining room table seats 6-8; an adjoining kitchen provides ample cookware and many small appliances needed for gourmet or family cooking at high altitudes. We have a washer and full-sized stacked dryer Each bedroom is furnished with one queen bed and offers spectacular views of Colorado’s famous aspens. Additional sleeping space includes a queen sofa sleeper and a futon chair that can serve as a child’s bed. At the Villas, there’s no need to spend your winter vacation clearing snow and ice off your vehicle: a second, interior staircase leads directly down to a heated, attached garage with ski storage.
We have availability for the next 2008-9 peak holiday season, as well as open dates during the fall of 2008. There is a 5-night minimum between December 19, 2008 and January 3, 2009. State and city taxes of 9.4% are added to the nightly rate, in addition to an end-of-stay housecleaning fee. All linens/towels are provided on-site. Start-up quantities of coffee, tea, spices, soap, detergent, and paper goods are furnished. A small electric grill and patio furniture are accessible for summer use on the deck. Charcoal grills, picnic tables, and playground equipment are found in the common garden area. Holiday decorations and exterior lights can be requested for guest use in December.
This is a non-smoking condo unit. Renters are not allowed to have pets. Fire codes limit occupancy to maximum of 6 people.
