Our private 3000 Sq Foot Ranch House is located on our 40-acre working farm and equestrian event center. Located in the foothills of Ventura County. People are amazed at our island of paradise, located only 40 minutes from Los Angeles and 20 minutes to great pacific surfing spots of the "Rincon."
We get many requests for weddings. We are sorry but are not licensed for wedding events but can recommend local permitted wedding event centers.
We are a horse event center and working avocado ranch. Our Ranch is for someone who wants to get a way from the city, but close enough to visit. Don't be fooled by other ranches. Our privacy and real ranch environment is our gem. Feel free to come visit our family and ranch.
The words, "room and space" are defined at the Meadows. Our Dad designed it years ago for our large family. It can be yours and 11 of your best friends in the four giant, private bedrooms.
The Ranch House represents "California Style" and has been used in the filming of many commercials and movies. Some stay on our private ranch to avoid the Paparazzi .
The ammenities are almost endless and the porch-laundry room is bigger than most kitchens. People tell us that they like to visit the ranch house for an "off the map" retreat. The large 30X30 “Great Room” is the centerpiece of the house and you can get that cozy 1800's ranch feeling while sitting by the massive fireplace and watching the wildlife.
Many people rent the ranch for horse events or even romantic get-aways.
Our house sleeps 12 in a variety of bed sizes and is located at the end of a tree lined private driveway-entrance. Mom designed our restaurant size kitchen before it was vogue. There are 3 bathrooms, numerous nooks , and perfect reading areas, Satellite Television, DVD and phone.
Step out side and see our 100 year-old ranching implements and barns. We are a working ranch and do have activities occurring, tractoring, orchards and farm work in our adjoining canyons.
Take a walk up to the pond and picnic areas. We have a real working Santa Maria Barbecue that can cook for 50. We have outddor heaters and campfire areas for year round enjoyment. Do you like to see the stars at night. We enjoy watching the Milky Way and shooting stars almost nightly.
We have a pool and outdoor spa and as a bonus you can watch your own campfire at the same time. Romance and Ranch House both start with an "R". There is a reason, the Meadows Ranch House is the epitomy of a peacful ambiance. We do not host parties with live bands etc..
