I had an unexpected change in plans and needed a place to stay on short notice. The owner of this property was so helpful and kind! The house is cozy and well appointed. The view of the fresh water lake and a near by tree full of birds was a welcome site in the mornings. The house fit my needs perfectly and I will stay here again should the need arise!

This is a nice vacation home, it is just beautiful.Looking forward to coming back next year maybe for two more weeks. I love the home because its comfortable and you feel like your right at home. The lake is just a beautiful view. The house has everything you need and its near anything you want to go. I give this home an A++.

Family Retreat

Our immediate family recently used the house to visit Mom's favorite small restaurants and shopping areas from her pre retirement life. We also discovered a few new places of interest in the Dunedin - Clearwater areas north of Tampa. The owners provide a variety of pamphlets and handouts for those who are unfamiliar with the area. The kitchen was very well appointed and the entire home was spotless!! The beds and sofas are very comfortable. Their street is tucked far enough away from the main roads to enjoy the solitude and view from the main room and the new patio furniture in the back yard. My husband and I ventured out in the canoe and in less than 1 hour we spotted a variety of birds, as well as several small alligators. The Lake House exceeded our expectations and if the weather had been less than perfect we would have spent some time using the pool table or attempting table tennis. Initially we needed some help to watch a rental DVD. One phone call to Eric and he quickly got us back on track. I would like to return here periodically when we have a chance for another mini - family reunion.

We spent the month of February 2010 here and were delighted. The house is clean and is nicely located. It is off the beaten path so it is nice and quiet but is close enough to everything we needed to make it a wonderful month here. We had 2 couples here and it provides plenty of privacy when desired. It was easy to get to tourist sites (museums, racetrack, shopping, multiple restaurants, etc.) within a short drive so you can fill up as much time as you'd like. The lake in the back yard provided hours of entertainment with all the wildlife in and on it. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a pleasant visit. We had a minor glitch while we were here and the owners responded very quickly and efficiently. They are easy to deal with and seem to be caring people. A plus in this day and age. Again, we would highly recommend this place.

Great home to stay in, very clean, spacious, house well equipped. My son and husband enjoyed the pool table, son in-law and grand daughter enjoyed the fishing. Would definitely rent again.

The Very Best 8 Day Vacation We Ever Had!

I couldn't wait to write this review! We spent 8 wonderful days in the very lovely Holiday Lake House! Each morning was spent out on the patio viewing the variety of birds on the small lake island and watching for the alligators. Every evening was spent out there too! Our kids and granddaughter wanted to come and take pictures of the Great Blue Heron, The Great White Heron and the Wood Stork that would land in the yard and pose for our cameras! The house itself was roomy, beautifully appointed, every amenity you could ask for! Tiffany could not have been more lovely to deal with! It was a perfect place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Clearwater Beach was a short drive as well as the Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs. I would and will recommend this house to friends and family!

A lovely ten days

We stayed at the Lake House for ten days in May, 2010. It was all that Tiffany and Eric's VRBO listing promised, and more. The house itself is nicely-appointed, comfortable and very clean. Unlike other VRBO places we've stayed, there was no shortage of cooking utensils, paper products, or towels. There was even some laundry detergent available for our first load of wash! But the real highlight of the Lake House is the view from the large family room and the master bedroom. There was a non-stop parade of egrets, cormorants, herons, gulls, terns . . . and, yes . . . alligators! The sturdy fence at the lake's edge kept the reptiles away, but many birds came into the yard to preen and just hang out. Lovely! Tiffany was available by email to us during our stay, and her replies to our questions were friendly, clear and complete. We highly recommend the Lake House to anyone who's looking for a comfortable, restful, nature-full vacation in the Holiday area.

We recently spent 3 nights at the lake house. What a delight. It was very roomy and clean. I hosted a dinner for 10 of my relatives and we had agreat time and plenty of dining space. What a wonderful way to visit relatives. We really enjoyed having our own space and watching the lake was so relaxing.
