On the private hill of Monte d'Oro,130 mt high,is our home,Villa Oliveto. There you will be transported worlds away by sweeping ocean views that extend from Livorno to Poets Gulf,and onwards to dramatic sunsets on the Pacific Ocean. Located in the Tuscany's breathtaking North Coast, Villa Oliveto is a one-of-a-kind vacation home that will pamper your soul and soothe your senses with unparalled beauty.
This lovely property backs to a nature area where foxes,squirrels and buzzards can be seen every day. The only noises we heard are the songs of the birds! With lush greenery in the front of your view and large expanses of ocean behind, you are just a short 20 minutes drive to the Forte dei Marmi beach.
The Villa is surrounded by 8.000 sq.m. of grounds. Villa Oliveto has a private wide panoramic garden, with tables, and even an orchard at guests disposal. Other dining tables are under the patios and allow the guests to have their meals outside even during the hottest hours of the day.

The Villa has five doublerooms with airconditioning and five bathrooms,three terraces overlooking the tyrrenian coast,one kitchen and one 35 sqm.living room with tv sat,library,internetpoint and fire-place. Wireless in all the rooms. There is also an indoor patio and a large private garden of 200 sq.metres,furnished with tables and large ombrellas for resting or eating,and a nice barbecue,facing the mediterranian see.
Villa Oliveto is reacheable by a private road and a private gate,closed in the night,that only the inhabitants of the hill may open with a remote control
Its setting is ideal for excursions down to the beaches on the coast, as well as to the many interesting locations nearby. Lucca 18 km,Pisa 22 km,Florence 90 km,Siena 140 km,Le Cinque Terre 50 km.
Traditional tuscan dinners are possible,on the panoramic terrace,on request!

Once the property was the summer holidays refuge of Silvia's parents and in 2006 we transformed it in vacations rental Houses. It lies 5 km far from the sea,but from here we can see the whole day the tyrrenian coast - we couldn't survive without the sea! We own also a 33 feet sailboat,for daily cruises

At the same time,if You want,You can reach,in 10 minutes,the nightlife of Versilia streets! Or the quiet medieval lanes of the mystic town of Lucca.
In the hot days of tuscan summer You can lay around the pool,reading a book or resting on the terrace looking down the terrific panorama

I fell in love with this villa the moment I saw the pictures. The photos were accurate and I found myself thrilled to be in the picture! Five large bedrooms with full baths, all of our guests were very comfortable. We wanted to be in Tuscany but also close to the Sea. This Villa had the perfect location for day trips to Florence, Chianti, Lucca and Cinque Terre. Dinners on the front balcony will be remembered by all as will the refreshing pool. Owner was on site when we arrived late and then offered to escort us down to the large grocery store which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative. Great for family reunion, or friend reunion. Children especially enjoy the pool and the nearby hiking. Great to have wifi. Along with a breathtaking view, the house had every comfort.

We had a wonderful time at the villa. We were celebrating my 60th birthday with friends in this lovely location. The view of the sea and the sunsets were spectacular. The hike to Pedona exhilirating! (worth it for the delicious lunch!) Our host, was kind very informative and hospitable. The location provided close proximity to several quaint towns where we found the food and shopping to be great! I would love to return to this magical setting again!

We had a wonderful stay and Villa Oliveto in June 2010. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. A large group can be very comfortable in this home. The view and outside places (terrace, gardens, pool) are all very nicely kept and relaxing. It is a great location as there is easy access to the very best of Tuscany.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My wife and I recently rented Villa Oliveto for a week with four other couples. What a great place for 10 people. The five bedrooms each with their own bathrooms provided all the privacy of a hotel while the great room and covered panoramic patio easily handled our group. Decor was very tasteful and warm. The sunsets were terrific! The opeators were very welcoming and at gave us all the information around the area ( fantastic!). Very clean accomodation and great value.
