View from Dock - Lexington Travel THE LAKE IS AT FULL POOL! PLENTY OF WATER. Located on Shull Island, the premiere Lexington side of Lake Murray, this one story lake home is situated on a large level 1 1/2 acre peninsula lot and has a fantastic main lake view. You can literally see for miles. The cove is idle speed, "No Wake" and great for swimming and fishing. Be sure to buy a fishing license if you plan to fish as the game wardens will ticket you even if fishing off the dock. Our bay is noted for some of the best striper fishing on the lake. There will be a complete packet of lake information, boating and fishing rules and area attractions and services waiting for you when you arrive for your stay. There are no neighbors on either side and has over 250 foot of water front. The water quality is rated "very good" and is clear, deep and the dock has year round water. It is very private and quiet. Well landscaped and many mature hardwoods surround home. Travel on all paved roads to the property and drive is concrete with loads of parking. The home has 2700+ sq. feet of living space and offers a beautiful sunroom with parquet floors and all windows. It's great for getting away from everyone with a book or just to watch the kids and the lake. The main area (approx. 1500 Sq. Ft.) has 2 bedrooms (1 king 1 queen both with cable TVs) and 2 baths, kitchen, family room (with Sofa Sleeper & Cable TV) and sunroom with sleeper sofa. The second area includes the living room with fold out sleeper and wide screen HD TV and stereo, full bath, dining area, utility room with washer and dryer and twin beds. We have wireless roadrunner turbo internet and Dishnet HD with 2 DVRs. Our home is located next to the state public boat launch area and is on the main part of the lake, however, we have our own private ramp along with our private shelter/cook house with plenty of picnic tables. Our dock will accommodate up to a 24 ft. boat and is in sheltered water cove with an awesome big lake view. Whatever the dock can't accommodate the state launching are next door can. Jet Skis can be parked at the dock. (Credit Card # is required to hold your reservation, no security deposit required. Signed contract and check for half of the rental fee must be sent in within 5 days of submitting your credit card to hold date. If you wish to charge rental on credit card, please, indicate that on your contract. The balance is due plus cleaning fee 30 days prior to arival date.) *Free Long Distance Phone service. **For mapquest or google earth use 1523 Shull Ave., Gilbert, SC 29054 as address. ***Security alarm. ****NOTE: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Masters weeks and Gamecock Football Weekends are at the in-season rates.****
