Charming Interior Designer's Yacht Harbor Beach Cottage Approx 800 Sq. Ft. Approx. 3 Minutes or 2 1/4 blocks to Twin Lakes Beach, the Harbor, The Crows Nest Restaurant and other Harbor Resteraunts and Outdoor Activities.
The home is a two Bedroom one Bath Beach Cottage with great south facing light. There is One Master Bedroom with a Queen Bed, Dresser, TV and luxurious bedding. One Guest Bedroom with two Twin Beds and a flat screen TV. One Bath with a shower and ample towels. The Living Room seats 6 with TV, DVD player and comfortable down furniture. Lastly, the Small full kitchen with a cozy nook seats up to 4.
There are three exterior brick seating areas inclusive of the back and front yards with two heat lamps, a BBQ, outdoor shower with hot water and a hot tub for outside enjoyment. The backyard is surrounded by tall hedges and a beautiful rose garden. Both the backyard and the front are gated for privacy and convience for yourselves and your pets.
Within 5-10 minutes of the cottage you will find the Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park, Downtown Santa Cruz with great shopping, world class surfing, plenty of great restaurants and more! The California Redwoods are approx. 20 mins.to the north with San Francisco another 40 mins. from there....lastly, the infamous Big Sur, Monterey and Carmel are approx 45 min. to the south. As you can see there is plenty to do and see!!

Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz
We love the location of our cottage. You don't have to get in your car if you don't want to. You can walk to the beach, the harbor, many resteraunts and even the little corner market. Twin Lakes Beach and Harbor Beach are knowen to be some of the warmer beaches in town.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The yard is very private with tall hedges surrounding it. The south facing light keeps the cottage warm and inviting! The hot tub is great on a cold and foggy night.
Great place to enjoy the sun and a cocktail on the upper deck with a view over the harbor
The Kind Grind- opens early for coffee and pasteries. Fun to sit on the beach and enjoy your morning brew. El Palomar Cafe- Again can sit out on the beach and enjoy!
Downtown is approx a 1.9 mile walk or drive. Fun shopping, movies, bookstores, boutiques and resteraunts.

My husband and I have both been in Santa Cruz for years. I used to come to Santa Cruz as a kid before moving here 15 years ago. Twin Lakes Beach and Harbor Beach were the beaches we frequented as you can have bon-fires at night! I remember many a clam-bake and many a night around the camp fire here. It was the natural place to land.

Walked to the Beach Sunday evening, made a pizza, wathed a movie, enjoyed the hot tub with champagne. Woke up late Monday morning, drove to the Boardwalk, bowled 2 games, had lunch at the beach (people watched), massages in Aptos, dinner at the ShadowBrook, watched another movie, talked about our wedding day (we got married on the 4th in Sacramento). We had such a fabulous time and the weather was perfect! We will be back. Fun things we did: Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Lazar Tag, what a blast!, Shopping at Capitola Mall with the girls while the boys bowled and played in the arcade. Had toe rings fitted, to all of us. What a magical little house and neighborhood - Favorites of the house. The kitchen nook, the sumptious comfy beds, the gorgeous light that flows into the beautiful living room and of course the loveley hot tub. We had our eighty three year old grandmother with us and celebrated a wonderful Christmas with her and my brothers family who live here in Santa Cruz. It was just a perfect holiday. Thank you so much. We'd love to try it in the summer. Also Zoey our "wonder dog" loved both the front and back yards. Thanks again.

We enjoyed relaxing in the spa, walking to the beach and around the neighborhood with our dog, Arlo. The location is ideal. We loved the fact that we could walk to breakfast at Aldo's , dinner at Johnnies Harborside and the Crow's Nest. We love walking around the downtown Santa Cruz and Capitola,. Enjoyed a day in Monterey as well. The weather was ideal makes it a little hared to return to temps in the 100's in Folsom. Thanks
