Come experience Tahoe in our attractive mountain retreat. The spectacular view from this house built in 2002 faces the 16th fairway on Tahoe Donner’s Championship golf course. Soaring pine ceilings, walls of windows and a large great room that opens to a private sunny back deck provides the ideal setting for relaxation with endless recreational opportunities at your doorstep.
Located on a quiet part of prestigious Swiss Lane, the house is prefect for one large or two families with over 2,800 square feet of living space. There are 5 bedrooms, the master suite and one bedroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs, plus three full bathrooms. It easily sleeps 8-10 people. The home features 2 fireplaces (one gas Extraordinaire, one wood burning), a spacious fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and alder cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar that seats two. There is a front deck off the kitchen; a brand new dining table; custom pine woodworking throughout the house; two gas furnaces with humidifiers upstairs and downstairs; airlock entry; level driveway and high speed wireless internet service.
For your enjoyment there are 4 TVs, a VCR, a DVD, a stereo with iPod docking, a computer, printer/copier/scanner, Broadband Internet, WiFi Wireless Internet, Play station 2 (with games), and various children board games.
Tahoe Donner is located in the upper region of Truckee, California, within 5 miles of Donner Lake, less than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe; close to major ski areas such as Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Valley, Sugar Bowl and Boreal Ridge; and 30 minutes from Reno, Nevada airport. Our House is at an elevation of 6,500 feet and averages 400 inches of snow a year.
Included in your guest fees is access to all of Tahoe Donner Association full service amenities. These includes a downhill ski area, premiere cross country ski area with 4,800 acres of terrain, restaurants, a golf course, fantastic hiking trails, full service workout center, three pools, an equestrian center, private marina and a campground.
This is NOT a party house. The amount of people staying at the house should always be the maximum amount of people in the house. No smoking, No Pets, no exceptions.
