We had never been to Park City before and didn't know what to expect. We were looking for a place near the site of my husband's business conference. This condo is tucked away off the main drag, but still near everything and served by public transportation. For us, the location was ideal. Rates very reasonable. With a full kitchen and a grocery store nearby, we hardly ever ate out. With the washer/dryer in the unit, we didn't have to look for a laundromat. Blockbuster is also nearby, so we could rent DVDs for our son. Matt couldn't have been a better host. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub is closed during the off-season.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We had a great stay at this property during the first weekend of sundance! Clean, charming, cozy, and convenient--we walked in and immediately felt at home. Matt is also very responsive and leaves very good and detailed instructions about access and the apartment bin general. There is a shuttle in front ofbthe condo building that will take you to canyons, where we skied. The Marriott is down the road and prospector square which are two major shuttle stops o main street. You can't really walk to main street though which is the only regret, but shuttles are free in park city and at least during sundance very frequent. This is a good thing as cabs are really expensive. Go eat at Fuego, a great Italian place literally 2 minutes walk if you take the back way. Overall we are really pleased and would definitely return. Thanks matt!!Did you find this review helpful? Park City was amazing! We loved it! The skiing was fabulous and the weather was beautiful. We stayed at the Park City Mountain Resort the whole time. Your condo was perfect for a couple with one child or would be perfect for a couple with two small school aged children. The price was right for us given the holiday and we were glad to have gotten something. So, thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The condo worked out really well for us. It was very clean and convenient to everything. It had everything we needed to cook breakfast and some simple dinners in. I truly love it out there. We traveled to Zion NP and hiked there one day. It was so fantastically beautiful. I thought it was the prettiest place I'd ever been, then we went to Bryce NP the next day and that was a different kind of wonderful. All in all it was a great trip and we enjoyed everything with great weather and some snow that made the mountains even more beautiful. Thank you so much for making the condo available to us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

The unit is in a good location, no car needed if you like to walk and hike. Also close to free bus. The unit was a bit small for our needs and needed updating in bathroom and washer/dryer unit. Enjoyed our stay on the beautiful area.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The discripitions given were spot on with every detail. Very comfortable and great view. One adult and 3 kids fit great in this condo. Friends our ours stayed in the same complex but this unit was far better. Would like to stay again if ever we are in Park City again. Matthew the owner went out of his way to take care of us and was great to deal with. If staying in the summer months bring a fan or buy one at a local store like we did. No air conditioning but with a fan and the cross ventalation in the unit it was cool enough to survive in the 90 degree plus days we had during the week. Thanks so muchDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/4

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: I tell stories for a living. Really! I work at BRC Imagination Arts in Los Angeles and we design and produce visitor experiences for museums, cultural attractions, corporations, and theme parks. I'm the Director of Development for all our education-focused projects. Prior to my work with BRC, I worked as a professional theater director, actor and producer. In addition, I used to provide technology solutions consulting services to non-profits and small businesses. I like running. Used to do marathons.
Why the Owner Chose New Claim:
My family has been vacationing in Park City since I was 11 years old. I grew up in New Jersey, and our winter trips to the Wasatch Mountains were always a time for our family to come together, play and laugh. I moved to Los Angeles several years ago, but we still keep up the family tradition - although on a smaller scale. When my family sold their vacation home, I decided it was time to buy my own place.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are some many things I love about my cute one-bedroom condo. It's got a nice view of the Park City mountain and slopes. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance, including an organic Indian restaurant, a steak house, a seafood restaurant, an Italian cafe AND a natural foods grocery story. The decor is very warm and cozy and inviting. On top of that, we have the 25 mile rail trail right across the street - perfect for long walks, running, biking and cross country skiing.
