Step into the Lower-Village lifestyle with this comfortable home, located within walking distance to the best of Montecito. Take the easy 3-block stroll down to the Pacific Ocean and enjoy a morning on Butterfly Beach, then finish with a breakfast on the veranda at the Four Seasons Biltmore Resort. Two blocks in the other direction from the home are the fabulous restaurants and retail shops of Coast Village Road.
The house is a Mid-Century Modern architectural specimen that has recently been remodeled. High ceilings, large rooms, and stylish furniture are the trademarks of this inviting property.
The Media Room is a sunny space adjacent to the Living Room. A sofa sleeper here adds additional sleeping options for overflow guests. With French doors of clear paned glass, this room can also be closed off to offer alternate television viewing choices from the Living Room while still making it possible to keep tabs on activities there.
The bright Master Suite is off the Living Room and has a king size bed, full bath, walk in closet, and faces the backyard.
The second bedroom is near the kitchen and laundry and is perfect for the kids or teens with two twin beds and another full bathroom.
Across the Living Room, a 3rd bedroom with king size bed faces the front of the house. This bedroom shares a full hall bathroom with the newly remodeled 4th bedroom with king size bed.
Dining, relaxing, and entertainment are easy. For meals, choose from the formal dining area in a bright Sun Room or the informal breakfast table in the Kitchen area. Indoor entertainment is provided by 4 different flat screen TVs, 3 DVD players, and a CD player/stereo. Stay connected with the Wireless Internet available throughout the property.
Enjoyment outside is guaranteed with the spacious patio off the Living Room featuring a tranquil fountain and inviting spa. Enjoy a great game of ping pong, or, dine al fresco on the teak dining table.
The owners have thoughtfully provided bikes and beach recreation items for their guests' enjoyment making day trips and beach outings more fun for everyone!
Montecito Village Retreat offers an easy family escape into Montecito's beach lifestyle. Whether your plans are to kick-off your shoes and walk barefoot in the sand, or to get dressed up and enjoy world-class dining just minutes away, this comfortable and welcoming home offers great convenience and proximity to it all. We met here coming from Bristol, England, Mill Valley, CA and San Antonio, TX. It was a great family gathering and lots of fun at the beach and enjoying ping pong and hot tubing! We traveled here from Iowa for a family wedding. We spent a week here and what fun we had! Only minutes from the beach, zoo, the pier, State Street shopping- we kept very busy and had a ton of fun. Elings Park was a beautiful setting for a wonderful wedding. With 2 young children this house was perfect for them to run and play! A perfect vacation! Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? What a wonderful place for multiple family members to enjoy time together while celebrating a Butterfly Beach wedding. The bicycles and boogey boards were enjoyed by the young ones, and multiple walks to the beach and to town were fun!
