Sit on the new dock or one of the two full lakeside porches and watch the herons fly by or your children swim or fish off the dock, take toddlers down to the beach area to play in the water, cook on the outdoor grill, have a glass of delicious local wine and read a book while watching the lake in all of its splendid movements. Boating, fishing, swimming are only steps away. Two-person kayak available with the house for peaceful ventures up the inlet or down the lake. The colors of the sky at sunset are breath-taking in all seasons. The summer is spectacular in its natural beauty and sporting bounty. In the fall, the view across the lake turns into a show of gorgeous fall colors and wineries are at their best. Winter brings the frozen lake ice sailing and fisherman. My personal favorite is just standing in the middle of "Crooked Lake" and looking towards "The Bluff" on a brisk winter day, and then coming inside to warm up next to the new gas stove with friends or family.

The natural beauty is astounding and its proximity to wineries accentuates the fun! Mostly I just enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine, by myself, with my family or entertaining friends for dinner on the porch looking out at the lake.

It is a great house for people of all ages because of the new dock, boats, two full decks (one for the adults and one for the kids), a complete house with bedrooms and good furniture, new mattresses and linens,stylish but comfortable, gas stove for cool nights in summer, all day in winter. All in all, a relaxing and fun place.

All my life, growing up in Rochester, I wanted to have a house on one of the Finger Lakes. I am so fortunate now to have one, and we are teaching our children, 12-23, water safety, responsibility, care and upkeep of the house.
Taxes and other expenses require us to rent it out. I am glad to share this beautiful, fun home with other people and families who enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes.
