THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS - MODERN LUXURY WITH SOUTH SEAS AMBIENCE
Everything the Big Island has to offer. Welcome to Kona OneNalo, a community of 12 private homes in a gated oceanfront community. Your rental borders one of the best snorkeling areas on the Big Island and is 200 yards from Magic Sands Beach. You can snorkel, surf, scuba, swim or just sunbathe on the beach, all within 200 yards of your front doors.
Your home has two lanais from which to sip your morning Kona coffee and view the spectacular Pacific ocean and Kona coastline. Watch the surfers from the lanais when the surf is up. Let the waves lull you to sleep while you watch the stars from the master bedroom. Wake to the calls of tropical birds and the sounds of the surf. Plumerias and gardenias are among the lush landscaping surrounding Kona OneNalo. Massive lanai doors permit unfettered views of the surf from both the first and second floors.
This home boasts a three-story cathedral ceiling in the living room and cathedral ceilings in the bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a California king bed and a TempurPedic mattress. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have private baths. There is a den with two futon chairs which convert to twin-size beds suitable for children. A full dining room and a gourmet kitchen make mealtimes a breeze.
The house is decorated with many works of art with an emphasis on local artists and their work. The Hawaiian ambiance is carried out with koa trim throughout the home and an assortment of glass fishing floats.
Kona OneNalo is minutes from Kahulu'u Beach, perfect for snorkeling and surf lessons and populated by amazing tropical fish and sea turtles. There are many golf courses nearby for golf enthusiasts, and the pool and adjoining whirlpool/spa at Kona OneNalo are steps away from your door. You are centrally located on Alii Drive, only four miles from the center of Kailua-Kona and one mile from the Keauhou Bay community.
Further afield you can visit Volcanoes National Park, the Mauna Kea observatory or the famous black sand beaches.

Our stay in this luxury home exceeded our expectations. The furnishings and special features were top notch. We especially enjoyed the two person shower in the master bathroom and the king size Temperpedic bed. We had our breakfasts on the lanai overlooking the postcard view of the bay. The pool area was a wonderful spot for a late afternoon glass of wine while watching the sunset. The owner and the caretaker were very helpful and responsive to the our few questions. We had a tremendous 2 weeks at this beautiful location and look forward to our next Kona holiday

We've stayed in several Kona rentals over the years and this place was certainly one of the best. It's the little things that make a big difference, such as entering an ultra clean house after a long night and day of traveling, having kitchen appliances that are clean and updated, having enough utensils, plates, glassware, etc. for all of our family's needs, and a we especially liked the stash of beach chairs and beach mats. Beautiful view, great pool, and a comfortable living space for a family of 5.

Our family of five loved this spot. Great views of waves breaking, snorkeling with turtles right outside the back door and all the amenities you could ever need. We used the BBQ on the lanai and unfortunately found the boogie board and beach goodies only after we'd bought our own. Possibly the cleanest place we've ever stayed in. Hope to get back again.

Wow, what a wonderful house you have! A real slice of paradise located right next to magic sands beach and so close to many of our now favorite places. We could have stayed another a week and still not explored all of the interesting places there. It was one of our favorite vacations. The kids (and parents too) enjoyed zip lining in Hawi, taking surfing lesson at Kaulu'u, kayaking and snorkeling at Kealakakua Bay, sunset and star gazing at Mauna Kea, hiking down into the caldera at Volcano NP, botanical garden, waterfalls and farmers market in Hilo, wonderful beaches of Punalu'u, Hapuna, Kaulu'u, White (magic) sands, and veterans beach (forget name). We really loved coming home to your beautiful house every day after our outings to the beach or road trips around the island. It was so well stocked and really made our vacation that much easier and more enjoyable. It is so much nicer than the pictures describe and we were very pleased when we walked in the first day after our long flight. Each child had their own room which made them both happy and gave them their space when needed. My daughter enjoyed having her own bathroom for a change. And it was so relaxing to wake up to the sounds of the birds and ocean every morning. Can't wait to develop and download all my pictures so I can keep the Aloha spirit alive a little longer. This house and location is a real gem!!!

Great house - with over 50 stays in the Kona area we've seen a lot of them - but this house is true luxury - it's huge, seems like even more than 2000 sq ft - ceilings soar 20-25 feet and the house is super-spacious....beautiful view is not directly out on the ocean, but with the added greenery and foliage in front of the decks, it's a sheer delight to wake up and look out past the gardens over the blue waters of the Kona Coast. And this house is more well-equipped than any we've ever rented....kitchen has everything, and beach stuff, books, etc are well-stocked and available for use by the guests. The location is pretty close to town, but a car is pretty much a must. There's occasionally a bit of road noise from Alii Drive, but nothing serious.. Snorkeling outside your door is fantastic, great underwater relief and lots of variety, including plenty of sea turtles. This house is a winner!

After much research and looking for a place to stay, we settled on this property. It was everything we hoped it would be. The unit is roomy, comfortable, clean and very private. The owners seem to have thought of many of the little touches that make a stay that much more enjoyable. Such things as beach chairs, an umbrella and an ice chest were there for our use. The location is ideal for watching sunsets from the pool area. We met some of the owners at sunset and they immediately asked us to join their happy hour and made us feel welcome. We will be back and feel certain that anyone will have the same reaction was we did. 5 stars!!!!!
