  This was our 2nd time staying in this home, Our stay was fabulous and we are looking forward to coming back with our canine family next year. Very well stocked kitchen with every spice you would ever need and just about every appliance ever created. Very comfortable, single level home . The only improvement that might be needed is the replacement of the mattresses in the sofa beds which weren't comfortable at all. Looking forward to visiting next year! Thanks for everything Connie!

  We rented this wonderful home for 2 weeks (8/29/12 through 9/11/12). It was the perfect location for us because we love to hike with our dog. There are a multitude of hiking trails in the area. The home has a comfortable ambience, plenty of room, a nice floor plan, and is well equipped, including plenty of linens and towels, etc. Everything you need to be able to enjoy your stay. The fully-fenced yard was a real asset to us because of our dog. We have already contacted the owner, who is very accommodating, and have made plans to stay again in August of 2013. We would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends.

  We had a great time. The house was very comfortable, so many clever and artistic touches, in four days I am sure we didn't see them all. The beach was close, not crowded, and you could walk for miles. Our dog loved it. Everything you could possibly need to make your stay fun was there. Even the yard and flower gardens had a definite artistic flair. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace to take the chill off the one foggy morning we had there. We would love to go back.

  I have yet to find a comfortable sofa sleeper so I understand the concern. I will keep looking and will add alternative sleeping options for large groups.

  This was a lovely home for our family. The location was fantastic, at the end of a dead end street. Quiet and peaceful. Large living room and dining room and plenty of wood to build a fire in the fireplace on chilly evenings. The beach was amazing. The only downside was that the mattresses on the sleeper sofas in the living room need to be replaced.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We were a little worried when first arriving at the property and entering the house through the garage, but the main part of the house is very nice. Most of our time at the house was spent on the large deck looking out at the ocean. We spotted whales on Sunday morning - thanks for providing binoculars and a telescope! We had the very quiet neighborhood all to ourselves. Watch the tides when you walk the beach as the water comes all the way in.

  What a cozy, comfy house for 2 couples and a dog to share! Having the second full bathroom was nice and access to the beach was easy. Quiet dead end street with only the sound of the ocean! Will definitely want to return!

  One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in at Yachats. It was very comfortable and secluded...it gives amazing views, with just a short walk to the ocean. There is a nice, quiet, sandy beach with easy access down stairs. We loved the large deck and beautiful yard, with the expansive views of the sky and ocean. The perfect setting for a "dream vacation". We would highly recommend this home as a vacation rental in Yachats, and would stay there again on future trips!

  Yachats Guest House is a perfect retreat or vacation home. The house is beautiful, light, comfortable and full of special touches. The beach is perfect for walking, watching sunsets, playing with the dog. I love the wonderful deck and yard with lounge chairs and windbreak. I will definitely stay at this house again!
