Need to get away from it all? Come and stay a while at our cabin and enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains at our Smoky Mountain Hideaway. Situated between the Cherokee and Nantahala Forests.

Nicely decorated, clean, and nestled on Mary King Mountain on over an acre of wooded land just west of the town of Murphy with easy access. Enjoy the drive up to the cabin through the two miles of easy winding roads. It is cool, cozy, and comfortable, your home-away-from-home. Experience the peace and quiet, sit and nature watch over coffee, or plan your day's trips relaxing on the large fully-covered deck overlooking your own woods, or just sit back and enjoy sitting in front of the beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace.

Kids will enjoy playing in the woods and observing wildlife. The property is lush and green in the spring and summer, and the leaves show all their vibrant colors during the fall season.

The full eat-in kitchen is equipped with all appliances. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second has twin bunk beds, and a queen size sleeper sofa with extra thick mattress is located in the living room.

There are two satellite TVs, one DVD player and one VCR for your viewing pleasure in the living room (DVD) and second bedroom (VCR). There are toys, books, puzzles, videos, horseshoes, etc., for children. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Large fenced area w/2 gates for pets located in back of cabin.

There are wild turkey, fox, deer, rabbits, birds, and even a couple bears atop Mary King Mountain.

Whether you plan an active, fun-filled vacation or days of quiet relaxation, everything you need is here in the mountains of western North Carolina. Most of all, enjoy your stay!

Smoking permitted on deck only please. Home is pet friendly, dogs allowed with prior approval and additional deposit. No cats please.
