Wonderful location for skiing vacations in the winter and summer explorations of the southwest Rocky mountains in the summer. Day trips to Mesa Verde National monument, Chaco Canyon, Fly fishing on the San Juan River quality waters, and hunting are within easy reach. Durango Colorado is only a 30 min. drive where you can board the Narrow Guage Railroad for a wonderful day adventure to Silverton, Colorado and back.
