This glamorous house is a modern throw back to 1962. Completely remodeled in 2007 by noted designer Kenneth Wingard with the utmost attention to detail and comfort. Located in the quiet and prestigious neighborhood of Deepwell on a corner lot for added privacy, you are close to shopping, hiking, golfing, and nightlife...but chances are you won't want to leave the house. Come and experience the true Palm Springs lifestyle.
Upon first entering from the circular drive, under the cantilevered entrance and through the double doors with rare vintage hardware, you are greeted by the new white lacquer floors, stone accent walls and Osbourne & Little wallpaper brought in from London.
The entire house has a new in-ceiling sound system with speakers in every room (including the bathrooms) all with individual controls.
Wifi is accessible from anywhere in the house so if you have to work, you can do it from bed or pool side. There are new recessed halogen lights with dimmers in every room so you can create the perfect mood for entertaining, relaxing or whatever suits your fancy.
The living room has the original stone circular gas fireplace bordered by walls of glass that open to the pool. There are notable mid-century antique pieces by C. Jere and Danish furniture houses along with leather pieces by Mies van der Rohe, twin sofas by Gus Modern and other pieces by Kenneth Wingard himself, all sitting atop a thick Flokati rug.
It's all very Dean Martin. When you can't have another martini or can't take another minute in the sun, sit back, relax and enjoy the 42" flat screen TV with full cable and HBO.
The brand new kitchen features custom cabinets, Electrolux professional range and refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher and Caesar Stone counter tops all set off by a custom stacked stone wall. There is a breakfast bar for your morning coffee and gossip or a formal dining area that seats 6 for more formal meals.
The Master Bedroom boasts a California King bed, new shag carpeting, a wall of glass that opens to the pool and hot tub, and it's own flat screen TV. The Master Bath was redone with Ann Sacks tile and Philippe Starck fixtures. It has a double vanity, two oversized shower heads plus and in-ceiling rain shower. This luxurious shower has sliding glass doors that open to a pergola covered patio with mountain views.
The Double Suite has two Queen beds, a flat screen TV, direct access to the Guest Bath and best of all an entire wall has been replaced with glass to take in the breathtaking mountain views. It's the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night. Walk out these doors and you have private access to your own river-rock edged terrace and sitting area.
The third bedroom has a Queen bed, a flat screen TV and opens directly to the pool. You can wake up and dive right in.
The Guest Bath has been remodeled with Philippe Starck fixtures, Osbourne & Little wallpaper and wrapped in 24" Arctic White tile for luxury. The shower wall has been replaced with glass so you can gaze at the mountains while getting ready for your day.
The pool was also completely redone and now has new plaster, a salt water system which is easy on your eyes and skin, and a new heater so the pool and hot tub are always the perfect temperature. The in-ground hot tub was added to the pool and seats 10 with mountain or moon views. A tanning shelf with umbrella was added for relaxing while staying cool and out of the sun. There's also an outdoor dining area and new gas grill if you can't bear to stay inside.

We went out to Palm Springs for the weekend with 3 couples - this is the perfect combination for this property, as it has three stunning bedrooms. The photographs of this home look really nice on VRBO, but they do not do it any justice. It has amazing light in every room, and really elegant decor. Best of all, the back yard has complete privacy, and is the perfect environment to relax by the pool. My advice: grab your friends or family, pick up some groceries, head out to this lovely home for a 3-day weekend, and don't leave the house until it's time to go home (we never left the front door once we walked in, no kidding). We'll be heading back next year for sure.

This house is truly stunning and perfect for large groups or initimate couple weekends. The house is well maintained, well appointed and fully "stocked" with everything you need. This owner is truly thoughtful right down to the shampoo and soap! Total privacy and the hammock and side yard was our favorite place. Also loved the umbrella in the pool for extra shade. We look forward to returning again and again!

LOVED this place the moment we arrived. The house is located on a lovely and quiet street in the Deepwell area...perfect for morning walks. The rooms are large and spacious with nice furnishings. Living area is comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities you will need for entertaining. The pool is the star at this place - perfect for sunning and relaxing. The view from the backyard is amazing - a clear view of the mountains and sunsets. I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat. Looking forward to returning in the future - thank you Ken & Lyndon for taking care of us!

We are leaving the house in the next hour. Had a fantastic time and absolutely loved the house. I have many pics of the house posted on facebook. Receiving many comments on the beautiful decor of the house. We are hoping to come back in the spring for a full month if we can get through the Olympics in one piece. Thanks again for the Patron. We had a perfect Palm Springs Christmas. As the first official guests, we had to unwrap just about everything from towels to the big new bbq. Christmas dinner was easy in the well equipped kitchen. Mom loved the sizzling spa and the dramatic views of the snow capped mountains and Wilbur made fresh squeezed OJ from the citrus trees in the yard. Can't wait till our next visit!
