We had a great time in Madeira Beach. This condo complex is located across the road from wonderful white sand beach and a few minutes away from John's Pass, where we went for evening promenades. Condo is clean, the view is gorgeous, our requests were promptly responded. It was nice not to have to drive anywhere. Maybe it is because of the low-season, but it was really uncrowded and peaceful. We made breakfast on site and went to Walt's Fish Shack for dinner, we tried other places for seafood, like Bubba Gump, Friendly Fishermen, and Sea Critters, but nothing really compares to Walt's place. For dessert we bought delicious chocolate-covered strawberries at Meyer's candy place, which is also in John's Pass. Oh, we also saw manatees out of our window several times! I would recommend this place to a friend.

In mid-May Fla. Spring Break can be frantic, but Madiera Bay Resort is both convenient and peaceful. Our 5th floor condo was right across from the Gulf, open to the public but used by condo & motel guests. It is adjacent to a marina and a restaurant that will prepare your catch for dinner! Also, John's Pass (bars, shops, gambling boats, etc.) is only three blocks away. This was our 2nd stay and will be our first choice for each future visit. And I must add that the roomy kitchen is very efficent and the master bedroom was quite private from the kid's room.

Would not recommend! It was not well maintained, the carpet so sooo gross I had to put a sheet down for my baby to crawl on. Piece of tile was broke and had a sharp edge. We did contact owner she offered to get carpets cleaned while we were there however we declined we did not want wet carpet and the smell of chemicals around sice we had a baby with us. I have to say the location was great very close to Johns Pass. I was disappointed we did not hear back from anyone and was not offered any compensation at all. Front desk was rude about this we even checked out early so carpets could be cleaned for the next renters that were alredy there.

Owner response:Our condo is clean and well maintained, as you can read from the other reviews from past renters. Our carpet are in good condition for a rental unit, considering the high traffic volume they receive from renters. Upon hearing of the problem the renters were having, we immediately addressed the situation by offering to have carpts cleaned, they choose not to do this. This is ONE out of hundreds of rentals we have had, that were not satisfied.

I want to Thank You for a wonderful stay in your condo. Your place had everything we needed, it was very clean and very well maintained.... We especially enjoyed the private balcony with the peaceful views... overlooking the beautiful waterway and marina. We also loved the easy access to the beautiful beach and the variety of good restaurants and shopping that was so close by. We certainly enjoyed ourselves. We will definately recommend your place to our friends and family. We plan on rebooking with you and look forward to our next stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony drinking in the view of the inland waterway and watching for dolphins. The condo was very clean and well equiped. The elevators were very fast which is a plus. We always spend quite a bit of time at John's Pass so really liked being so close. We will seriously consider returning next year. We really liked how quickly any questions were answered when we were originally considering booking the condo.

Thank you! Your condo made my stay in Florida better than I imagined. It's the little things that count. The covered parking which came in handy on a rainy day ... The secluded balcony that faces a beautiful harbor loaded with yachts instead of a busy/noisy street loaded with cars ... The bunkbeds making room for two children... The easy access to the beach acroos the street ... Walking distance to the beautiful John's Pass ... The proximety to the many restaurants ... The two full bathrooms so there was never a waiting line ... Boat rentals and boat tours within wlaking distance ... The wall-mounted flatscreen TV ... What more can I say? I will make this destination an annual trip. Not only would I recommend this to a friend or relative, I alrerady have! Many Thanks! And I look forward to my next vacation!

A Perfect Getaway Spot

The unit is well maintained and clean. It overlooks the marina and the intercoastal waterway. John's Pass is a few hundred yards away, full of good food and shopping. Sunrise was beautiful to watch each morning. Good dining abounds, much of it within walking distance. The beach is a three minute walk from the unit. The owner was a joy to work with and very accomodating. I highly recommend this unit.
