We enjoyed ourselves despite the weather. There were some nice breaks where we got to go out and enjoy the area, and we did some rides in the rain. It was great to spend time with my son and daughter in law in a nice restful environment. The house worked out great for us and we enjoyed the wood stove and also were able to barbecue under the covered deck. What a plus that was for us! Got home last night. Now back to the normal routine and watching the snow melt. Thanks Janine

This house is fantastic! Had a great time! We had 1 day durin 7 of no sun the rest was gourgous, but even the cloudy day had a mystic that was special. Just had the greatest time. Hope to do it again someday.

We had a amazing trip so far. spent 4 days at Crater Lake and Oregon Caves Chateau before arriving here. We're going to Gold Beach and the Jet Boats then on up the coast to Waldport. The location is great for hiking and spending time at the pacific Ocean. John (neighbor) was also very nice when we met him, he offered to let us borrow his canoe for our use. We loved the wood burning stove, comfortable furnishings and looking at the night sky. Thanks for opening your beautiful home to us.

This is our second time vacationing in this area. There is a lot of fun things to do within an hour or two drive. The last time we were here we took the jetboat ride up the Rogue River. On a hot day that is a very fun family outing. The trees of Mystery is also great family treat. We wanted to see the Oregon Caves this time and really enjoyed that. This home is cozy & accomondated our family very well. Morning fog made us seek sun. 15min up river past hiouchi was all the farther we had to go. 85 degrees along the middle fork and many good swiming holes. Watch out for poison oak alond river trails. Too early for Salmon but still lots of things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would suggest this place to anyone wanting to spend sometime in this area. Absolutely the best vacation our two dogs everhad!! The beach is a rare treat for Sacramento dogs. They got to go everyday. My Black lab was able to swim in the ocean everyday and in the Smith River! They went to bed tired eachday, Thank you so much for allowing this to be possible....

The home is in a perfect location to beach and river activities. Our family really enjoyed the comfort and amenities of the home ie tub with jets, comfortable beds, pet friendly and kitchen well stocked with cooking ware. The home is near the river and one can hear the creek which is quite peaceful while sitting on the lawn surrounded by beautiful tall trees. We would like to return and would definitely recommend this property.

This property had all the amenities we were looking for and then some; pet friendly, quiet location close to the park, large yard and deck and easy access to the beautiful Smith river. The house was clean and spacious and the beds and other furnishings were very comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. It was a perfect place to relax with family.

This was truly a wonderful vacation. It was a joy to see the Pacific Ocean and the Redwood Forest with our children. Memories were made here! This house met our needs perfectly! It was a great place to come home to at the end of a busy day. It was a place where we could relax. We loved the garden and the flowers, especially the lilies. Damian and Emma enjoyed exploring in the yard and playing on the deck. Madison (almost 4 months old) was a trooper. She's such a happy pleasant baby-full of smiles. We enjoyed our stay, except there a few points I want to share. There were no dressers in the bedrooms to unpack our clothes. It would be nice to have table and chairs in the wonderful lawn area. Your maid needs to clean from floor to celing. Dust everywhere, I am allergic. The decks were swept, but were absolutely filthy and covered with green mold. If you want repeat business, you might give more thought to the comfort of your guests.

Total relaxation here in your spacious lovely home among the redwoods. Every evening we would sit on the deck I laying out treasures of agates, stones, driftwood deciding which were keepers and which were leaverites (leave it right here), and Don adding finishing touches to his painting. A much needed trip to beautiful California with wonderful freinds! Perfect cool mornings warm days and cool nights. The kids had the most fun just being outside...going down to the river, playing in the fort, fishing,smores, hiking, beach time.... It was a blast to stay up late playing pictionary.
