We had a wonderful time on our vacation. This condo was absolutely perfect! Very clean, great location, easy access to the beach and pool. This ground floor unit is ideal for a family with small children. Gary was excellent to work with. A great communicator and very generous. We decided to extend our vacation at the last minute and Gary graciously accomodated us - cutting into his own personal vacation. Definitely get the golf cart. It is so nice to take about the resort, to dinner, local shopping without getting in and out of a hot car. My 2 year old loved it! We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo, dinner out. We took the golf cart to nearby Baytowne Warf two nights straight. Great restaurants and shops and plenty of things for the kiddos to do. Overall, I give this condo a 10 out of 10! I give Gary a 10 out of 10!

Gary was wonderful every step of the way! The condo is elegant and comfortable. Being steps from the grills and the pool was a plus for our family. The golf cart made it so easy to get around locally. It was a great place for a great vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation, in large part due to the beautiful condo, golf cart, and attentiveness of the owner. The condo is exactly as described, clean and well-taken care of. The ground floor location was perfect for us with three kids. The short walk to the pool and beach was great! The golf cart was a great way to explore the area without having to deal with renting a car. It was such a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Gary was very helpful and attentive and answered all of our questions. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. You can't go wrong here!

We loved the condo and had a great time in Sandestin. This is definately an upscale unit and the ground floor location made it very convenient to get to the pool and beach in just seconds. Having the golf cart available to go to the Wharf and even the grocery store was fabulous. We hope to return in the fall.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Sandestin Beachside condo. The ground floor location makes access to the car and, more importantly, the beach quick and easy. The condo was very clean and very well appointed. Gary was very informative and quickly responded to any of our questions. We were skeptical about renting a condo in Florida from the owner as opposed to through Expedia or some other travel site. But renting the Beachside One condo from Gary was, without a doubt, the most pleasant vacation experience we ever had. Gary was unceasingly open and accommodating throughout the entire process. He was willing to work around and accommodate our needs without hesitation. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and the experience we had was nothing less than marvelous.

During our month-long stay we explored the area along the coast 40 miles in each direction and saw no vacation properties we liked nearly as much as Sandestin. And within Sandestin we were completely happy with our location in a ground floor condo in Beachside 1. Early in our residence we contacted the owner several times with questions or concerns and found him always responsive and unerringly helpful. The layout of the condo is perfect, and the photos accurately reflect its appearance and amenities. The property is well maintained and has a new washer and dryer. Walks along the beach rank high among our memories. We would reccommend the property to anyone planning to visit the western panhandle. Best grocery shopping is Publix Super Market 2 miles east on Highway 98 at Grand Boulevard. Best restaurant we discovered is "790 On The Gulf" located at the end of Crystal Beach Drive on Scenic Highway 98 in Destin.:.

We had a wonderful time at Sandestin and in the condo. Everything was nice, clean, and in working order when we arrived. It was great to be on the ground floor with small kids in tow. Gary did a great job answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable in the condo. He and the on-site maintenance folks were very helpful and quickly responded to our needs (e.g changed a light bulb in the refrig, provided string to tie our inflatable kiddie pool toys). This condo is very close to outlet shopping and has a Walmart a few miles down from the resort.

We had a fantastic vacation in this condo. We have small children and it was in the perfect location, close to the pool and beach. Easy access to everything. Having a ground floor unit was very important to us in choosing where we were going to stay and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Beautiful and comfortable furniture and very spacious. We didn't want for anything while staying at Beachside One. The owners are extremely easy to talk to and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Sandestin

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed and spacious unit, right on the beach. The patio and the garden area was lovely and larger than pictures depict. Being able to have direct access to beach was key. We enjoyed walking out onto the boardwark for nightime strolls and its near vicinity was perfect to watch the Sandestin triathalon kick off at 6:30am, coffee in hand of course. The Village at Baytowne was great for shopping, dining, free concerts, and golfing , we enjoyed it all. The gated complex is very peaceful and has lovely trees and shrubs. Great for walking, biking, etc. The beach was fantastic, every day. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Beachside One.

My family and I stayed at this condo in San Destin for a week and had a terrific time!!! It is convenient to EVERYTHING! It is a very short walk to both the pool and the beach, and the family offers a golf cart, for an additional nominal fee, and with it you can tour the resort as well as Baytowne Warf! Makes parking a dream! The condo itself is very comfortable with two bedrooms and two baths and a fold out queen sofa sleeper. All the amenities you could ask for! We're going back next year and hopefully for years to come!!

We just got back from our stay at this beautiful condo and could not have asked for anything more. The condo was clean and well maintained, even had new furniture. The first floor is a must, particularly with small children. It is only a hundred feet or so from the pool and you can play soccer, frisbee, etc. in the yard. The golf cart rental is definitely a must! You can drive the golf cart to the grocery or the Baytown Wharf for lunch or dinner. There are so many fun things to do at the wharf. This is an outstanding condo in a wonderful location within the Sandestin Complex. Beautifully decorated and furnished, this condo has all the room and ammenities you need for the ideal family vacation. The ground floor location provides very easy acess, and being able to step out of the sliding door to the patio and only be steps away from the pool and beach is a big plus. The beach is amazing. The soft white sand and warm clear water made a full day on the beach enjoyable for the entire family. Many attractions with the complex and across the road in Baytown. I highly recommed this property, and this was my second year in a row here with my family.

Great Sandestin Condo

We stayed at Gary's condo 5-28-11 to 6-4-11 and the condo and beach was amazing. The condo was very clean, well appointed and very close to pool and beach. We have rented through vrbo for several years and Gary was the best owner we have dealt with. He kept us informed throughout the process before we arrived and while we were there. Sandestin is the nicest beach and community in NW Florida and this condo was everything we had hoped for and more! We will be back next year! Recommend the Mahi at the Back Porch and Cuban sandwich from Pompano Joes, also the Village of Baytown Wharf was great, try the Floridian omelette at Another Broken Egg.

We were 4 total with two 17 year old boys. Great Condo, Very clean. Perfect for the two boys. Very easy to get around. Condo was very nice and updated. Ground floor is a must. You can play soccer in the grass outside of condo patio. We went with 5 families and everyone wanted to leave their beach chairs on our patio. Being on the ground floor is a huge advantage. You are seconds from pool and beach. The condo was convienent for us and had all of the amedities you need. You didn't need to go any where if you wanted. Really enjoyed it!!

We are a family of 5, with 3 little ones. This condo had everything we wanted! It was clean, newer, right by the pool - which you had to open a gate to get too - good for the little ones:) RIght by the gate for the pool area. Everything we needed was there when we arrived as well. Beach toys for the little ones, lots and lots of towels, extra pillows, blankets, etc. We cannot wait to go again same time next year:) The owners were the best as well! Any issues or questions were resolved with just a phone call. Could not have had anything any better. Priced right as well compared to what the actual complex was asking. And I'm sure their places were not as beautiful as this one!! Cannot wait for spring of 2012!! Thanks Gary - it was a pleasure!!

Really everything that is outlined in these reviews are true. I can go over the same things again or tell you the real reason i liked the place so much. The ownership is what makes the difference. Gary called me just enough times to insure things were as expected. If Gary owned properties in my other vacation spots I would rent from HIM just because of the hospitality factor. Definately rent the" go cart" as my kids refered to the golf cart.

great last minute trip

We booked this as a last minute trip - confirmed on Saturday was there Sunday evening. The weather didn't cooperate however the condo was very nice. Enjoyed the first floor with the patio exit to the pool and boardwalk. Condo was clean and updated. Nice master bath shower! Would certainly stay again and would recommend! It's relaxing and private! The Condo was wonderful-so clean, beautiful and spacious. Sandestin resort is awesome-Baytown Wharf is so fun for the whole family, bike rental by the Starbucks and para sailing available from the stand at the boardwalk just steps from the condo. We have been to many beaches-Mexico, Miami Beach, Key West and this has been our favorite family vacation. The owner was great to work with. We have recommended this rental to friends already and would love to return soon!

This was our first time to Sandestin and we could not have asked for a better experience! The whole exprience (from renting to leaving) was wonderful. I spoke to the owner of this property several times prior to check in and a couple of times after check in, he was super nice and easy to deal with. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent vacation. He made checking in/out very easy. My husband and I along with some friends of ours were looking for a very relaxing week with no worries and this vacation exceeded our expectation!! With the fact that the condo was on the 1st floor, we had no worries about the children and balconies. The pool was steps away from the back door and the beach was just a few steps pass the pool. The condo was very nice, updated, clean and private. The complex was quite and clean. We were able to park the vehicle very close to the condo, therefore it was easy to unload and reload the luggage, etc. The beach was gorgeous and renting the beach chairs was easy (we definitely suggest renting, it was so easy, just walk out on the beach and relax). The staff was very friendly. We also had a great time at the wharf, very entertaining with tons of stuff for the children to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great vacation!

First vacation with two young children

For our first vacation with our two young children (ages 1 and 3), we chose this property based on its Sandestin location, proximity to the beach, size (2 bed/ 2 bath) and good reviews on VRBO. We could not have been happier with the end result! The condo is clean and spacious and well appointed. It is literally within steps to the beach and parking. It's super quiet...even during the middle of the day when our girls would take naps. We felt right at home at this property and look forward to going back again next year!

This was the first time we used VRBO so we were a bit worry that we would be misleaded by all the high expectation regarding this condo. I was afraid of false advertising but everything is as it stated and it was true. I love everything about this condo. -- The private gate AND walking distance to the beach was awesome. -- There are lots of amenities on this resort. The guys went out and brought shoes just to play basketball. -- The parking lot was so close we can see our car (no need to walk). -- Being on the 1st floor was amazing. -- Very clean and bright. -- All the upgrade was wonderful. We invited our friends over to view the condo and they love it so much they want to book it for the following weekend but it wasn’t available. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful Honeymoon

We talked to the owner several times before renting and realized he is one of the nicest rentors we've ever dealt with. We arrived the day after our wedding to find a card and nice wedding gift in the condo which was extremely thoughtful!! We also got a call making sure we had a safe trip down from Atlanta and that we found everything in order, and were told to call him personally if we had any questions or problems. The place is outstanding, high quality, and conveniet to parking, pool, and the beach. I loved being on the ground floor and not having to deal with elevators. Have stayed in Sandestin before but this was the most pleasurable trip ever!!! The owners made our honeymoon a very memorable experience, one we will never forget and we will definitely rent this condo again... probably late this summer. Can't say enough about how nice and clean the place was, or about the quality of everything in the place from beds, to TVs, to the very well equipped kitchen, and can not say enough about the generosity and thoughtfulness of the owners. This is the first time we used VRBO and we were a bit nervous of the new experience. We talked to the owner twice, asking every question possible, and new could not have been nicer or more helpful than he was. When we arrived at the condo we were absolutely thrilled with the cleanliness and the very high quality of everything, including the decor and furniture, We immediately regretted that we did not reserve the entire week. Later that evening the owner called to make sure we had a safe trip and to let us know that if we needed anything and to let us know that if we had any questions during our stay to feel free to call. This was our first experience renting a condo, and we were pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful with some high-end features; in addition, the condo was exceptionally clean with plenty of room for a family of four.

Wow, what a great condo. Even though we expected the condo to be very nice the actual exceeded our expectations. Clean, very nicely decorated, great amenities, great location. To say that we were very pleased is an understatement - we loved it. Just made our reservation for a summer return.

Loved the condo, only wish we could have stayed longer. Greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the condo and the easy and quick access to the pool and beach. The heated pool was marvelous. Loved the resort and the great walk and bike paths.

We had a great vacation due to large part to using your beautiful condo. The condo was perfect ! We have never stayed in a condo that was so clean, well appointed, and nicely furnished. Loved the fact that the condo was so close to the beach and pool.
