We had an amazing experience! The apartment was very accommodating. It was close enough to the public transportation. We bought dinner from the little grocery next door, opened the windows and listened to a couple of musicians walking down the street one evening during dinner- it was lovely! We were able to do a little laundry with the washer/dryer combo. So much better than paying for an expensive hotel. If we are ever lucky enough to get back to Paris, we would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

We stayed for five nights at Antoine's apartment in Neuilly. This a very cozy and convenient apartment that we loved. We'll definitely be going back. Positive aspects: 1) great location, not too far from a metro station (also easy RER/Metro connection to CDG). Right next to a grocery store, boulangerie across the street, Velib bike rental stand and bus stop a few feet away. 2) Neighborhood is very pleasant and feels very safe. 3) Apartment is very well equipped - you basically don't lack for anything. 4) Considering how much this apartment costs versus hotel rooms, this is a great deal. 5) Antoine's a very helpful and efficient owner - even though he's not in France. We had no problems at all with finding the apartment, access, internet, etc. Less positive aspects: 1) it's small. But what place to stay in Paris isn't? For the two of us, it was fine. 2) The entry isn't very glamorous, but that's a little importance - the inside of the apartment is very nicely maintained. 3) It's on the first (European floor) so you're fairly close to street noise - but we did not find that to be a problem. If you want privacy, you close the blinds. At night, there was no noise - the street it faces is a small one anyway.

Very nice place. Quiet area and real quiet inside. Lots of great shops and good food right there. Market on the square Wed, Fri and Sun is excellent. Less than 5 min walk to metro. Apt is comfy and the w/d is very handy. Cupboards and microwave a little high for shorter folks and the bathroom is a bit too small for real comfort. But I/we would stay here again in a minute.

A great little apartment in a fantastic location! We loved being able to ride the 43 bus right around the corner, and the metro stop (Les Sablons) on Line 1 was very convenient to go to all the museums and locations we wanted to visit. The apartment itself is cozy but very nice and well-maintained, with kitchen amenities that we were able to use for quick breakfasts each morning. The local market was another great perk of staying here. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Overall we had a great stay!

I had the opportunity to spend a weekend in this cosy and well equipped studio flat, which lies in a charming Paris street in the Sablon area, close to the Metro Line and bus connections. It was clean, tidy, and had all that one could desire, with a bakery and supermarket a few metres outside the main door. A perfect weekend get away apartment. Very recomendable!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is as pictured and was very clean and perfectly appointed. The beds (including the pullouts) were comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive in the days leading up to our stay. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance but the best part is that you are directly across the street from a pâtisserie (bakery). The apartment building itself is quiet and there was no noise from the street with the windows closed. The only thing the apartment didn't have was a hair dryer. For those with long hair, it is a little chilly to be walking around in France during November with wet hair, so make sure to pack your own!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely three nights in the flat. It's perfect for two, and certainly larger than most of the hotel rooms out there, and for half the money! Private, quite, safe and CLEAN:) I love old buildings, but I'm not interested in dealing with old furnishings or fixtures past thier prime. This apartment met all our needs being completely up to date, and a great starting and end point to each days adventure!

it was our 1st time renting an apartment on our holidays, i have absolutely no regrets. it was much, much, way better than staying in a hotel. it was very near la defense, very convenient, it you are taking the air france shuttle to/from the airport, the metro is nearby. there are groceries and bakeries shops just downstairs, the open market is wonderful. we did some cooking in the apartment, we saved a whole lot than eating out everyday. there is also a washing machine in the apartment, it was perfect for us. this was the best accomodation we ever had had in paris. will definitely stay here again! tks antoine!!!

What a great appartment! My sister and I and my two daughters (6 and 10 years old) stayed here for three nights. It is nice en clean and everything was there. We forgot to bring tea, but there was even a pack of tea in the kitchen. Also towels and some toiletpaper were available. There is a seperate bedroom and two sleeping couches in the livingroom. The seperate bedroom has no door. This might be not so ideal if you stay with small kids. However, it didn't bother us and our kids. When you get there, you can get the key out of a key locker that is on the door. So no anoying manager or anyone like that is waiting for you, but you can just check everything out yourselves. We really liked that. The metro is around the corner. You are in the centre of Paris in no time. Also before everything was perfectly arranged. Antoine replies to your e-mails imediately and the information he gave was very complete. We will certainly come back here.

We stayed here in October 2011, my wife and our two sons, one 10 the other 1 1/2. We loved it! Great location right across the road from a bakery and around the corner a grocery store. Also a very safe area which we felt safe walking around at night. Metro is just down the road to get to all the locations. The apartment had everything you need and was cozy. Lots of great memories and we'd love to come back someday!

This apartment was awesome. Very clean and neat and the location is perfect. Minutes from the Metro and directly across the road is a pastry shop for fresh pastry with your morning coffee. My husband has meetings in Paris every September and I accompany him...so this will be the spot for me from now on. However, if you had the third person (which we did) it would have been nice to have had a curtain or something up to the bedroom opening for a little more privacy while dressing and undressing.

We spent two weeks in this apartment and it was perfect: away from the tourist hordes but close enough to be convenient. The surrounding restaurants are great (we loved Le Chalet, where you can get an amazing Raclette and fondue); the local shops are awesome (especially the wine shop, the butcher and the bread shop); and the fresh food markets are amazing (on every Wed, Fri, Sun). It's a very pretty (and quite posh) part of the city, and looks what I imagined a Paris neighbourhood should look like! The apartment was neat and clean, and didn't feel cramped at all (if you have 4 people though, be aware there is no door to the bedroom, so it's not private). We cooked every day in the kitchen, which was pretty well-equipped. I was surprised there was no DVD player but at least we had free wireless. Antoine was great to deal with - very helpful and prompt. I would definitely recommend this for a couple, and perhaps for a family if it's for a few days.
Owner response:Thanks Belinda. The reason why there is no DVD player is that unless you buy the DVD from France, you would not be able to watch it, as the DVD Zone in Europe is different than the US, Asia, Australia etc and players sold in France will not read DVD purchased in the other zones. What other guests have been doing it connecting their laptop DVD to the TV to watch their own DVDs. And you are in Paris, few people stay in to watch DVDs while in Paris! ;-) Thanks for staying with me, and I hope I will see you again soon. Antoine

No bad surprises; as advertised, the apartment is genuinely very functional, nice and neat, as good as new, and has all the amenities to just come in and crash comfortably. We loved it a first sight. We're a family of 2 adults, 2 boys (12 & 9) and a 3-year old baby girl and arrived around at 9PM to find ourselves right at home. We spent 10 nights and accommodation was perfect (even with all our luggage), and we even were able to fit our baby crib between the 2 sofa beds. Location is very nice and very safe as well, and the neighborhood is so quiet that we sometimes over-slepped :-) The children enjoyed walking every morning to the near-by bakery and supermarket to get fresh milk, 'baguettes', 'croissants' for breakfast, and even thyme Lebanese manakish from the nearby open-air market ! The little time we spent (awake) in the apartment, everybody found an occupation: cooking, eating, watching TV, surfing the net, or just overlooking the street through the big windows. We did not hesitate to use the washing machine, as well as the kitchen to prepare kids meals like rice & meat and pasta & sauce, and the air ventilator came in handy in case it got a bit hot at night. Neuilly is very classy and I recommend walking to the notorious Bois de Boulogne to visit the "Jardin d'Acclimatation" and then go canoeing in its lake; the children loved it. We rented also a Vélib from right across the street of the apartment and visited Paris by bike. Buses, taxis and metro stations are within walking distance (Les Sablons & Porte Maillot to go to distant sights like Versailles, DisneyLand, ParcAsterix, etc), but we often took the very convenient Bus #73 (the stop is right across Place du Marché) that goes straight to Place de l'Etoile, through Champs-Elysées all the way to Place de la Concorde, to stay "overground" and enjoy the city as much as possible (and it's more practical with a baby stroller). Thanks Antoine for this lovely opportunity to live a very charming Parisian experience that will surely be recommended and renewed if possible. It was the first time we do not check-in a hotel with the kids on vacation and I was a bit concerned, but everything went like a breeze... and sorry for not contacting you during our stay because we did not need to ;-)

This apartment is just as advertised and more! Nothing beats the divine smells from the bakery across the street; the friendliness of the local restaurant owners; the convenience of the corner store and the close proximity to the Metro and all of the delights of Paris! Antoine is more than helpful and professional--he is awesome! He even gave us some local restaurant recommendations-and they didn't disappoint at all. Please go to Le Chalet when you stay here--the owner is wonderful and the food is heavenly. We will be staying here again! Thanks, Antoine!

Thank you Antoine for a wonderful stay in Paris. My husband and I along with our two sons, ages 9 and 4 visited Paris for one week and your apartment was our home away from home. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the apartment was impeccably clean. The location is perfect with the the Metro Main Line 1 within a five minute walk. The street lined with shops, a bakery and a grocery store just next door made it easy to get our 'essentials' right away. The two ATM bank machines conveniently located 30 seconds from your door made it easy to access necessary funds for our excursions. The information and directions you provided prior to our arrival were very helpful and made settling in very easy! We cannot thank you enough for a wonderful stay in Paris. We will definitely return!

Getting the apartment was easy and Antoine was very professional and prepared. He sent very detailed information on the apartment so we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. As previous reviews stated, the lock on the door is different than what you might find in the U.S. but after the first time, its easy to use. The photos of the apartment are very accurate. It was comfortable for my wife and I and a nice place to relax after touring Paris all day. The location can not be beat. Antoine told us we'd like that aspect of it, but honestly I thought that was good salesmanship. Once we arrived, we learned from other Parisians that it is in one of the best districts in the city and you can see it. Its very safe, very clean, and on a street that's absolutely perfect. A bakery is right across the street so you can wake up every morning for wonderful french bread and pastries. There's a small grocery store on the corner which we found to be very inexpensive. The same street also has several boutiques for women's clothes and even a butcher shop. There are several restaurants near by and its a short walk to the Metro, which we used extensively. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer in the apartment so we didn't have to pack as much. We had breakfast in the kitchenette most mornings thanks to the bakery. Finally there's hi-speed wifi in the apartment, which is seemly hard to come by as a tourist in Paris. I don't think we could have picked a better apartment for the price.

This apartment is impeccably clean and has all modern conveniences (dishwasher, washing machine, flat screen tv, internet, and all kitchen necessities, incuding plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, mugs, etc.). We loved the huge windows overlooking the street (elevated just enough to provide a view of the street rather than feeling like people going by were looking into the apartment). This "Rue" is magnificent!!! The aromas that drift over from the bakery across the way would entice anyone back (baguettes and waffles are outrageously delicious, and the owner is friendly and helpful, none of the expected "typical" French attitude). Street also has a shoe store, small clothing boutiques, a butcher shop, and a lovely outdoor market (Wednesdays and Sundays, if I remember correctly) just steps from the apartment. There are several cafes (including pizzeria) and a grocery store in close proximity as well. Though the street does have some car/scooter traffic, this is a very narrow road with wide, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, suited more to walkers than drivers. As if that weren't enough, the sidewalks are lined with gorgeous hydrangea bushes. We loved the "neighborhood" feeling of this location. We had no car while in Paris, used the Metro (and our own feet) exclusively to get around -- subway system was very easy to navigate, and the Metro stop was just a block or two away from the apartment. I would recommend this place unequivocally for a single person, a couple, or a small family. My husband and I travelled with our two children, ages 6 and 9, and we felt the apartment was a little small for us (though, that being said, we would return in a heartbeat.) The bed was very comfortable, but the pull-out chairs provided a smallish sleep surface, especially for our lanky 9 year old. There is no door separating the bedroom from the living space, and no door on the shower room either, so I'm not sure how two couples would feel about the shared living quarters. The owner was very helpful and left clear notes regarding locks, appliances, etc. Even though he was not in Paris during our stay, we felt confident that we would be able to reach him if the need arose. At the end of our four month European adventure, many of our Parisian excursions (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Seine River Cruise) top our list of favorite travel moments, and we highly recommend staying in this apartment (as long as it's available when we return!)

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Antoines apartment in May and we found it to be everything as advertised in VRBO. Loved all the good quality food available at various shops including traitures with ready made food to take out. Outdoor market was so good--bought white asparagus and very fresh fish. The bakery across the street deserves the raves it gets. The apt. is in a lovely location and definitely not touristy. It is very clean and Antoine was very informative. Yes we will return. We forgot something there and the cleaning person put it in a safe place for Antoine to return it to us. Good value too.

I really liked this apartment because of its location. It is located on a small shop filled street with a market at the end of it. There was a really good bakery across the street with AMAZING croissants! Also the whole city of Paris was easily accessible by metro! The apartment was great for my grandmother too because it had an elevator. The kitchen was great; it had all appliances you could think of except for a teapot. This apartment is very clean and has very fast WiFi! I loved the big windows that opened up to the bustling street. It was also very convenient to have the toilet and shower separate. This apartment has a door that is VERY TRICKY to open if you are not familiar with the type of lock! My grandma and I were locked outside the apartment on our first day for 30 minutes until a neighbour opened the door for us. But then my brother (who lives in Paris and familiar with this type of door) taught me how to open the door and then it was very easy to open! The queen sized bed in the apartment is VERY COMFORTABLE! But the two pull-out beds were narrow and had thin mattresses that made sleeping slightly uncomfortable. As a whole this, apartment was wonderful and I would really recommend it!
Owner response:Pavel, thank you so much for your review, you are welcome to come back anytime, now that you learned how to open the door. :-) For other guests, please note that the door is NOT VERY TRICKY, there is a simple way to open it and I do give full detailed instruction on how to open it. I have had 100+ guests stay there so far, and no one has had that issue before :-) Some even told me recently that it was even easier to open than they anticipated by reading my instructions. Not sure if Mr.Pavell had the instructions on him while trying to open it, but at least it worked out at the end. Also, the comment about the size of the single convertible sofas, well they are standard European single beds, they are not custom made, they may tight by American standard, but again, they are normal size for Europe, and no one has brought this comment before. I'm sure your next stay will go much smoother, and I am very sorry for any inconvenience.:-) Regards Antoine

This was our first time in paris and we had a wonderful time. The drizzle just added to the mood. the apartment is very well organised, compact and has everything you need including a fully functional kitchen and a washer drier which we took full use of. I had cleaner clothes on departure than at arrival. The internet option is worth more than 25 Euros that the hotel charges ( criminal I know but who can survive without connection for more than an hour these days) The room is a little tight but it is well laid out that you dont seem to notice On our search there is nothing available at this frice that is even half as good We plan to make this our home away from home on our next trip

Antoine's apartment is wonderful. It is close to the metro station (Les Sablons), close to shops and markets and of course close to the excellent bakery across the street. I easily walked to the Bois and found the roses which were in full bloom in early June heavenly. I also easily walked to La Defense and to the Arc de Triomphe and down to the Petit Palais. It is very close to one stop for the Air France buses from CDG. This saves money in that you don't have to get a taxi to or from CDG. The apartment is spacious (for European standards) and the area is very safe. I was there by myself and never felt uncomfortable. One thing I particularly liked is that I was in an area which is outside of the main tourist areas (yet easily walkable or take the metro). I didn't hear English very third person. But I never had difficulty asking someone for directions, etc . Antoine was very nice and was very helpful; before and during my stay I would email to ask a question and he replied very quickly and thoroughly. I would definitely stay here again.

Between the location, the proximity to the Conference center, the local merchants, the farmer's market, the weekend street festival...your apartment was perfect. It allowed me to live as a Parisian for a week while attending a medical conference. A 7 minute walk to the convention center...two stops to the Arc de Triumph, meanwhile a quaint, quiet and kind neighborhood. The wine merchant helped me with restaurants and even scheduled my taxi to the airport. Thank you for a great 'home base' that made my trip delightful. I will be back!

As we are packing to leave tomorrow, we just wanted to say what a delightful stay we have had in your apartment and neighborhood of Neuilly-sur-Seine. We straightened up a bti as women are wont to do (especially if one has ever had good cleaning woman). It was so convenient for me to catch the Number 82 bus right outside Shopi, get off at Ecole Militare and walk a block away to Unesco for my conference. The metro is just down the block and again so convenient. We took several walks in the Bois de Boulogne and got to know the shops nearby. Just a wonderful way to enjoy Paris.

I went to Paris with my mother and 2 of my brothers. We slept comfortably, and made great use of the kitchen and washer/dryer. The market is next door and the bakery is right across the street. The neighborhood is very nice. This apartment is in a great location, near the Arc de Triumph and close to the M1 metro line. We could walk to the Seine River, the Champs Elysee, and the Eiffel Tower, as well as other attractions. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends, and would stay in it again.

We just LOVE IT! We had a fenomenal time at this cozzy, beautiful and clean appartment. The location of this appartment is more than Perfect. Metro line 1 is right there (this line takes you to the all must see places in Paris). The backery, the restaurants and the food market make it even better. We ate creme bruleevery single day. We loved having a kitchen, fridge and the washer/dryer. I highly recomend this place and I can't wait to go back. Thank you Antoine!

Our family of 4 stayed at Antoine's apartment for 3 days. It was very clean and comfortable. We have a 14 year old and 5 year old and really had no issue with the space. We left our car in an underground garage about 1/2 block away and took the metro every day - very convenient. Antoine was very easy to work with. We will definitely check back here again if we have the opportunity to go back to Paris sometime.

As a single woman, I really enjoyed my stay here. Wonderful neighborhood. Shopping and the twice weekly marche at the end of the street is spectacular. Easy walk to the Bois du Boulonge. The apartment is very convenient and clean. It is perfect for a couple or a single person, but perhaps not a family or other group, because even though there are extra beds, there may not be enough privacy -- no doors on bedroom or bathroom/shower area. Apartment is small but very cleverly designed to make most of the space. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would rent this place again and recommend it to my friends. I suggest that the owner include more pictures of the apartment and the neighborhood in his VRBO website, to really show how nice it is.
Owner response:The apartment is like a loft. There is a door for the toilet/restroom of course. The shower is in a niche, and it is not visible from anywhere else in the apartment. The apartment was designed by a French Architect. I have had families and groups stay there, this was the first and only time that the issue has been brought up. :-)

My wife and I were in Paris for a week this past Fall and had a great time at Antoine's apartment. It was so clean, neat and tastefully decorated. It also had everything we needed and the location was great. There was a convenient store right next to it, and the metro station just a few minutes walk. We could be at the Louvre Museum in 15 minutes, or at the Champs Elyses in 10... Antoine was really nice and helpful. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay while visiting Paris, you've found it!

Hi Antoine, We stayed in your apartment in Paris on the 17th October for 5 days. I wanted to write to you and say thank you for letting us use your apartment, it was just fabulous. Loved the apartment, the location (fantastic access to the metro) and patisserie across the road. They made lovely croissants and French bread of course. The supermarket was a bonus for our family of 4 and so was the fresh food market on a Sunday morning. We were so busy for our stay, one of the nice things was coming home to a comfortable apartment every night. Our family would certainly come and visit again and stay in your apartment. Thanks again, Liz & family.

Great location and very nice apartment. We spent 10 days in Paris and thoroughly enjoyed it. One advantage is that the French bank(BP Paris) that services Bank of America customers has two ATM's within a block of the apartment. Very convenient because you save on ATM charges, etc. The market and the bakeries are just great and very close to the apartment as well as the Metro station(Les Sablons). Also, easy walk to the Air France shuttle for transport to and from the airport. For the price and convenience you can't beat this apartment.

We had a great time in this apartment. It was perfect for us. The children loved having reading area during the day, and very comfy sleeping at night. Excellent location, close to the main attractions, very nice area, and very safe. The bakery across the street and the supermarket just 20 steps away was a big plus (save $$$$). It was a pleasant walk to the arch, the tower, and the Defense area from the apartment. The metro is just 5 minutes away; there is a bicycle renting station just half block from the apartment. The Paris reference tourist guides in the apartment helped us very much, also with the wireless printer we were able to check in and print our boarding passes before getting to the airport. Antoine provided us with easy to follow instructions and a contact number in Paris that we did not have to use. Thank you Antoine for the great customer service. We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family, and if we're ever so lucky to go back we will be contacting you again.

My wife and I stayed for one week in Antoine's apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is modern, clean and very close to a Shopi (grocery store), a fantastic boulagerie and boucherie. The Sunday market was also fabulous. Apartment is very close to a Metro station and within easy walking distance to the Champs Elysee. don't hesitate...rent it for your vacation!

I just came back few days ago from Paris. Antoine was so gracious to let me use his lovely apartment. This was my 4th time to Paris and the first time I rented an apartment... If I had to do it all over again, I will not change a thing and will definitely pick Antoine's apartment: His follow up, quick response and instructions for a comfortable stay were impressive. The apartment itself is very well equipped and located; couple hundred meters from the public market, just across the street from the local bakery..., very close to the Metro station in a chic neighborhood! Antoine thanks again for letting me use your place and I look forward to contacting you again for my next escapade!
Owner response:Thanks Elias. You are welcome to come back anytime! Antoine

Antoine--We had a great time in Paris...and your place was just perfect. The location was ideal for us, we enjoyed the bakery across the street, the market on the corner and several restaurants in the area. alsok, the market on Sunday and Wednesday was a real plus. We used the subway which was one block away and the bus which was about 20 steps away. We enjoyed your place very much and hope to go back some day. One day we walked through the big park..on to Eifel Tower and Arc and back to the apartment...pretty good for a couple 73 year olds. Ken Cope, Neosho, Mo.
Owner response:Ken, I am so happy you enjoyed your trip and I am lucky you chose to stay in my place. It was a pleasure working with you, and I sure hope I will have the opportunity to host you again. Cheers. Antoine

This apartment was great for us--two adults, two kids. We took good care of the apartment while there. The owner took great care in explaining everything we needed to know to get in the apartment and to enjoy our stay in Paris. It was wonderful walking to and from the apartment everyday. Being able to buy bread across the tiny street and having the groceries quite near by was a huge benefit. The apartment was an easy walk from the Arc de Triumphe, we actually walked all the way to the Louvre on a beautiful Paris day. The metro is only two or three blocks away and the train is close by also. We took the train to Versailles from the apartment also. The price for this part of Paris and for the convenience of an apartment, instead of a hotel, with a kitchen, frig, etc. is well worth the cost and the convenience. Leaving a little food behind for the next person was our contribution--pay it forward.
Owner response:Debra, it was a pleasure working with you. I'd love you to come back again anytime! Thanks. Antoine

We stayed at a few VRBO places while in Europe and this place was one of our favourites!! Antoine, I can't thank you enough for your fast communication and for being very accomodating. The apt. is well located and is very close to one of the major subway lines. There are wonderful restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The area is very safe and there is a beautiful park nearby that I loved going for jogs in. The apt is well equipped and very clean. My last comment about this place is BOOK IT, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Antoinne, we hope to return someday. JoAnne
Owner response:Thank you so much JoAnne! Come back any time.

Thank you so much for letting us rent your wonderful apartment! We had a great time in Paris and are sad that it is coming to an end. Your place was the perfect spot and could not have been better situated. We felt very safe as the street was well lit at night. There were many shops and eateries to choose from. The metro was also very close. It made it very convenient to see the city and attractions. It really felt like we lived here and had all of the conveniences we had back at home. It was such a treat and I'm glad that I found your apartment on VRBO. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful apartment had everything we needed! Modern design with wonderful decorations in a great location. We felt safe by having a security keypad, but the neighborhood was so charming that we felt as though we were at home. The location has so many shopping and dining choices that it was difficult to choose. I would definitely recommend this apartment - not only was it convenient, it was also very comfortable for us. We would definitely stay again.
Owner response:Kristen, it was great working with you. Needless to say, you can come back anytime. Thanks you. Antoine

This was our first time in Europe and It was the perfect apartment to start our trip. It is well equiped, everything worked great and very conviently located. We were just a few blocks from the Metro (what a treat) and we shopped at the open air market every other day right down the block. I felt like I had really been transported to the heart of real Paris. Many thanks to Antoine, he was very easy to work with and was open to any questions we had.
Owner response:Susan, it was a great pleasure working with you too! Come back and stay anytime! Cheers! Antoine
