Welcome! We are pleased to introduce our fabulous new privately-owned ultra-luxury one bedroom condominium. This property was completed in December 2007 and is the finest condo in downtown Telluride. The condo is located in the heart of downtown and is only two blocks from the gondola. The location is one of the most coveted in Telluride.
The condo has high-end finishes including a fireplace and flat-screen TVs in each room, Venetian plaster throughout, an all stainless kitchen with Wolf and sub-zero appliances, couture Frette linens, velvety robes and slippers, original art, iPod dock, desk, fax and wireless Internet, on-site caretakers and wonderful views from six large windows in the living room, dining room and kitchen.
The master suite is at the rear of the property. With a king bed made in the finest Frette linens and duvets, a flat-screen TV, antique sconces and a gas fireplace, luxury surrounds you. There's a large bath in the master suite as well as another full bath in the hallway with a steam shower for any guests who might be sleeping on our comfortable queen sofa bed.
Singles, couples and families of three or four are perfect for this property. If more room is needed, please find our penthouse in the same location at VRBO 151697. These two units can be combined to sleep larger groups or families.
For our winter guests we offer a complimentary valet service at the foot of the gondola which is only two blocks away. Our guests love this perk included in their rental.
The Heart of Telluride condo is surrounded by everything you need for a perfect vacation -- the finest restaurants are within three blocks, shopping is just out the front entry as is the movie theater, the grocery is one block, the pharmacy and bookstore are across the street and the mountains totally surround you.

VRBO Bear stayed here - 09/02/2009 The “Heart of Telluride” is certainly descriptive of this luxury condo located in the middle of Main Street in Telluride. Restaurants, shopping, and the quaint town of Telluride are just steps away from the front door.
Upon arriving, we were surprised at the beauty of our vacation rental. You feel like you just stepped into a “show home”. The attention to detail in the design and decorations was spectacular. From the stone walls, original artwork, and unique lighting, there was much to admire and enjoy. To our surprise, we were also welcomed with a beautiful gift basket.
The bedroom featured a stone wall, fireplace, flat screen TV, and luxurious linens. The curtains provided complete darkness for a very restful night of sleep. We had our choice of either bathroom to use for getting ready in the morning. Both were beautifully decorated with glass tile, richly-colored painted walls, and granite countertops. Included were organic, handmade soaps, shampoo and lotions by a local business in Telluride. The steam shower was certainly enjoyable after a long day of playing in the mountains.
While in Telluride we had plenty to keep us busy. Our hosts provided us with a list of recommended restaurants and activities when we made the reservation. If you are looking for additional advice, the on-site caretaker is always nearby. Telluride is tucked away in the spectacular, towering San Juan Mountains and offers a wide range of activities: hiking, mountain biking, golf, art, shopping, and dining. The gondola, which takes you up the mountain and to Mountain Village, is a short walk from the property. It is free and runs from early morning until midnight.
We would certainly choose this vacation rental again. It was so relaxing and enjoyable!! It’s a great place to stay anytime of year and the hosts ensure you love your stay.
