The “Heart of Telluride” is certainly descriptive of this luxury condo located in the middle of Main Street in Telluride. Restaurants, shopping, and the quaint town of Telluride are just steps away from the front door.
Upon arriving, we were surprised at the beauty of our vacation rental. You feel like you just stepped into a “show home”. The attention to detail in the design and decorations was spectacular. From the stone walls, original artwork, and unique lighting, there was much to admire and enjoy. To our surprise, we were also welcomed with a beautiful gift basket.
The bedroom featured a stone wall, fireplace, flat screen TV, and luxurious linens. The curtains provided complete darkness for a very restful night of sleep. We had our choice of either bathroom to use for getting ready in the morning. Both were beautifully decorated with glass tile, richly-colored painted walls, and granite countertops. Included were organic, handmade soaps, shampoo and lotions by a local business in Telluride. The steam shower was certainly enjoyable after a long day of playing in the mountains.
While in Telluride we had plenty to keep us busy. Our hosts provided us with a list of recommended restaurants and activities when we made the reservation. If you are looking for additional advice, the on-site caretaker is always nearby. Telluride is tucked away in the spectacular, towering San Juan Mountains and offers a wide range of activities: hiking, mountain biking, golf, art, shopping, and dining. The gondola, which takes you up the mountain and to Mountain Village, is a short walk from the property. It is free and runs from early morning until midnight.
We would certainly choose this vacation rental again. It was so relaxing and enjoyable!! It’s a great place to stay anytime of year and the hosts ensure you love your stay.

Why the Owner Chose Heart of Telluride
The location of the penthouse is one of the most coveted in Telluride. Everything in town is just out the front steps and we are only two blocks from the gondola where we have complimentary ski storage during ski season. One of the most frequent comments we hear from our guests is the amazing location. We are in the same block as The New Sheridan Hotel and located above Paragon Sports -- right in the middle of Telluride.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our guests comment on our beds and bedding over and over. We splurged on couture Italian Frette linens which are incredibly luxurious and beautiful. The best feature, however, must be the spectacular views from the great room and private deck. The deck is the highest downtown and is what sold us on buying the property in the first place. Our guests and visitors are routinely awestruck and shocked at the magnificent views in every direction. There's no better place to be than on the deck entertaining friends or enjoying the spa.
The Heart of Telluride Condo is in a coveted downtown location and surrounded by everything you need. The free gondola is only 2 blocks away.
Paragon Sports/Boot Doctors has complimentary ski/snowboard lockers reserved for our Heart of Telluride guests. It's so easy to pick up your gear and jump on the gondola. You'll be on the mountain in a flash!

Great place to find the perfect pair of sunglasses and googles. Be sure to check out this historic space -- the safe in this store was rumored to be the one robbed by Butch Cassidy.
Large specialty burgers, yummy salads and soups plus steak and seafood is served at Floradora. Get one of the tables by the windows and people-watch or mountain-watch.
Yummy Italian food is a must -- great pastas and wood-fired pizzas. One of the best wine lists in Telluride.

We fell in love with the beauty of Telluride nearly twenty years ago. Initially we purchased a condo in Mountain Village but then decided that we loved being in downtown Telluride surrounded by the shops, the restaurants and the colorful history of the town. An older building in the heart of downtown came on the market which we gutted and made into two dream properties. As Texans, this penthouse is our home away from home. We invite you to enjoy it as much as we do. It's our little nest of luxury.

We want to thank you and your family for sharing your condo with us. It is truly a jewel! It is so well built, decorated and comfortable. You have paid attention to every detail and made it so welcoming. I loved the bath products you chose, went online to see where they were sold and found the soaps in a store down the street. Your recommendations for the restaurants were so helpful. We went to many of them...my favorite is LaMarmotte and the kids loved Smuggler's. Thank you again for everything.

We had an absolutely amazing time and the condo was incredible! Eric and I did not want to come home -- we were hoping to get snowed in but no such luck! We will definitely be back and not soon enough! One question I did want to ask is about the doors in the condo. Eric is going to be building some homes on a lake in Alabama and he was enthralled with the doors throughout the place. They were beautiful! Are you able to tell us where you found them? Again, thank you so much for the hospitality and we hope to talk with you again soon.

The owners of the Heart of Telluride one-bedroom condo have succeeded in creating the most thoughtfully designed, aesthetically beautiful, luxury accommodations in Telluride. It absolutely exceeded our high expectations. We have previously stayed in other high-end accommodations, including Capella and Lumiere, and the Heart of Telluride condo is our favorite. The carefully selected materials, first-rate appliances and fixtures, as well as the craftsmanship behind this remarkable renovation, have resulted in a warm, inviting and relaxing base from which to explore and enjoy Telluride. The property manager (Amy), owner (Katrine) and caretaker (Max) were all extremely personable, attentive and responsive, making everything from the reservation process to check out smooth and easy. The Heart of Telluride has set a remarkably high standard for this special town. We look very forward to our next visit.
