    • We love the little cottage. You two were so nice and friendly and generous about our two dogs roaming around. I love how you outfitted and decorated the cottage. The quiet is a balm on my city-ravaged mind; the wind in the trees is beautiful and inspiring; we slept deeply and ran ourselves and our dogs around the acreage and inspected mosses, ice formations in the clay, and fascinating wild animal evidence. The hot tub was dreamy to sit in at night and wonder at the brightness of the moon and the blackness of the shadows. Your stock of videos and books is excellent. We brought our own books, too, and luxuriated in the peaceful quiet, reading for hours. And, call me crazy, after Oakland's nasty chlorine-spiked water, your well water was sweet. I couldn't get enough, I just drank glass after glass. Do you know, I heard about a friend of a friend who has a well in an area geologically like yours, whose doctor asked him how he had so much iron in his blood - it was from the well water! Thank you for making this place available.

    • Absolutely wonderful. We arrived to find the cottage spotless, the radio gently playing, the flame glowing from the heater and the hot tub ready and inviting. Beautiful surroundings, great views out all of the double pane windows and from the deck and hot tub. Secluded, private, romantic setting with its own picnic area and firepit. Our comfort and enjoyment was obviously the number one concern of our wonderful host. A most ennjoyable two weeks!

Ah........ This weekend was all we'd hoped for and so much more. We were truly stunned by how well appointed, ellegant and thoughtfully arranged this wonderful retreat is. Whimsical touches everywhere, and everything one could possibly need already supplied. The problem became whether to stay holed up in this little piece of pardise or to venture out and explore. We,ll just have to come back and make sure we get enough of both. Many Thanks Vickie and Paul

Jim, My family & I had such a wonderful & relaxing long weekend. The cabin is perfect & we roasted marshmellows in the open fire pit fireplace, took numerous dips in the hot tub, saw a beautifiul sunset & a full moon, walked the trail ( looked for burried treasures) then the horseshoes, had burgers on the grill & then went sledding & skiing! What a refreshing mini-vacation! We were literally & figuratively on top of the world! The Roses P.S. - The personal touches throughout the cabin & grounds make it feel just like a home!
