We live in the Pacific Northwest and previous travels to Florida were to the Miami area, which did not bode well to our liking. So when we learned our nephew was planning a destination wedding in Florida, we considered not attending. Thankfully we thought better of it ... thankfully the wedding was in NSB, and thankfully we found Anni's condo on VBRO. The wedding events were all lovely, but the true highlight of our visit was Jenny's Cove, our haven away from home. Anni herself is a delight and pure grace to work with and we thank her for allowing us to stay in her home. It truly is a paradise for relaxation, beach activities and getting away from the hustle. My first impression, and lasting impression, is the loving energy in this unit. Meticulous and caring planning in every detail of decorating and home-life need are here to enjoy. The views from the balcony are unparalleled and can capture your gaze for hours. While we planned a fast-in and fast-out visit to Florida (4 nights), I regret the hastiness of that decision inasmuch as a visit to NSB and staying at Jenny's Cove are deserving and wanting of a week, bare minimum. Truly did not want to leave, and now that we are back home, we are planning a family reunion return trip. And yes, Anni, I will be contacting only you to check for availability ~ no place better. Thank you again for allowing us the pleasure to be your guests.

anni, we found paradise here..my husband an i agree...one of the best vacations weve ever had!!! "jennys cove" is everything your listing said it was...and more!! the unit is beautiful and settle-in comfortable....love the artwork, decorations, kitchen, the view from the balcony blew us away, no picture could possibly do it justice!!! dont seem to be able to describe it without lots of !!!!!!!! havent even mentioned the building development which is gorgeous, pool, ocean and one of the best beaches (it think) in the world literally at your doorstop---who could ask for more!!! i could go on and on....we HATED to leave!! pretty much had to drag eachother out the door. im so glad we bumped into your listing, and had a vacation we will NEVER FORGET!!! anni, thank you for making us feel welcome and at home too!!! UNBELIEVABLE PLACE!!!!

Everthing I wanted!

Recently (end of April) I stayed for 3 days at Jenny's Cove. It was all I hoped it would be! The location is great, the condo is very clean and comfortable and the views are priceless. It is obviously very lovingly cared for and decorated in true Florida style! Anni was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I need. I 'bothered' her twice with phone calls and she was welcoming and helpful. I loved the walks on the beach, the sunrise and the sunsets! The condo is a short distance from Flagler Ave and is a short car, bike or longer walk away. For 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 children's, this is an ideal place.

Wonderful stay at Jenny's Cove!

One of my main reasons for selecting this condo rental was all the 5 star reviews! After staying there, I understand why everyone had nothing but good things to say . . . and now I'm joining the chorus to highly recommend Jenny's Cove! What an absolutely AWESOME view and the condo had everything we needed. Plus Anni was easy to work with and very accommodating! The Inlet building & grounds are well maintained and made us feel like we were at a luxury resort! We enjoyed walks on the beach, the boardwalk at Dune Park and rented bikes from Nichols Surf Shop on Flagler Ave. As others have said, we didn't want to leave but we will be back!

We came down from NC with our two grandchildren and were so pleased that we had decided on this condo for our vacation. The listing doesn't do the place justice. It's much more. We didn't want to go home. We have stayed up and down the Eastern seaboard and have never found, until now, a place that had EVERYTHING you needed. Literally, all you need to bring are your clothes, bathing suits, and a few groceries. From boogie boards and sand toys, to beach chairs and umbrellas, there was even a cart to pull it all to the beach! We give amenities a 10++. The girls loved the "little surfers" area which was where their beds were. There was even a flat screen tv just for them, as well as a game boy, and every Disney video or DVD ever made. The property around the Inlet was very clean and well maintained. The view from the balcony was to die for. One could see the sunrise, the sunset, and miles of the beautiful white beach. None of the buildings in the complex blocked the views. In fact, while on your balcony, one didn't see any buildings in the area. "Jenny's Cove" was really nice. The furnishings were new and the kitchen had all the amenities. Anni was so helpful in giving us tidbits on things to do in the area. It was so peaceful staying there and we selfishly would like to keep this place our best kept secret! If you want a restful vacation, this is definitely the place. You won't go wrong. For this we give it a 5* rating. We thank you, Anni for being our friend and allowing us to share a piece or your little heaven on earth in New Smyrna Beach. We'll definitely be back!

Paradise & Exclusive Refuge

Loved it so much we did not want to leave. Jenny's cove is Peaceful & Exclusive. A paradise & refuge away from a very hectic & changing world. I have not felt that peaceful in years. Private belcony with direct views of (Sunrise over the Atlantic) & (Sunset over the Inter coastal with beautiful Light House in back ground). From the same private belcony we also had a direct view of Smyrna Dunes, Ponce Inlet, Sail boats & Surfers etc.. I am originally from Nova Scotia Canada, & the "Relaxing Sunsets, and sand between my toes brought back childhood memories. Thank you Glenn & Ellen.

I grew up in Orlando and spend countless weekends visiting NSB. I have stayed in many, many different condos and houses, and Anni's place is by far my favorite. I will definitely be back and I would recommend this lovely condo to anyone. There is so much to do in the complex alone...the ammenities are awesome. The views are unbelievable and the pictures do not do this place justice. I was excited to visit based on the listing's pictures and reviews but you can really not understand how peaceful and relaxing, yet fun at the same time this place can be until you've seen it for yourself. My daughter and I stayed at Anni's condo the week of April 26th to May 1st. The condo is very clean and spacious. The views are amazing! It is very well equipped and we didn't want for anything. It is also a great location. It feels very private yet still close to restaurants and shops. Anni was very helpful in providing all of the info we needed and was very accessible if we had any questions. The beach and pools were not crowded except for the beach on Saturday. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

OUTSTANDING CONDO!

By far the best condo we have stayed at not only in New Smyrna Beach but at numerous other locations as well!! The condo has more than everything needed to enjoy a stay. The furnishings are lovely, the view from the balcony unmatched, and the kitchen is fully equipped!! The Minorca complex is fantastic and we really enjoyed the pools, the whirlpool, the exercise faciliy, and easy access to the beach!! Sea shell collecing is terrific - we found 9 sanddollars, 5 angel wings, 4 olive shells, a starfish, etc!!! The balcony overlooks a protected preserve where we saw birds, lizards, et al!! In addition, stargazing at night is great! Watching the sunset from the front of the unit is breath taking! Annie, the condo's owner, is terrific and her attention to ensuring you a wonderful stay is unbelievable (e.g,, luggage cart, beach chairs/umbrella, wagon to tote the stuff, menus with recommendations, beach towels, etc. etc). We are very much looking forward to staying here again!!!

Minorca

My husband and I stayed at Minorca the last week of October. It was wonderful - the condominium is beautiful and everything that you could need for a week at the beach was provided. It is in a wonderful location with easy direct access to the beach and access to the town square of New Smyrna Beach by bicycle. We also enjoyed using the fitness center every morning so that we could continue to enjoy all of the great restaurants each evening. We will be back to visit in the spring.

Jenny's Cove is Paradise Found!

Anni's place is exceptional in every way. The value was tremendous. Access to the beach is easy and her garage level storage closet is stocked with the sturdiest umbrella and chairs like you would find at a 5-star resort plus tons of playthings with a functional cart to get them easily to the beach! Gotta love the luggage rack at the ready in her parking spot! The view is unparalleled and at night you can stargaze for hours. Love the decor and especially all the mermaids! The Little Surfer's area is darling (tho we don't have any of those at this point in our lives until our grown kids start families) The condo is spacious and comfortable with casual luxury in the plush oversized chair and couch, the lovely rattan furniture on the wide balcony. We loved that the whole wall is glass and the heavy doors slid seamlessly back to let that cool sea breeze in. And the bedroom/bath area is calming and comfortable. Anni is a jewel and an ultimate hostess who took exceptional care of us and it is obvious that she has done so for many before us. As for restaurants, we loved the Riverview Grille, the Garlic (fab patio and live jazz every night),and PJ's Fish House. Don't miss Mon Delice for incredible French pastries (the danish and mini quiche were outstanding for breakfast in the full, well stocked kitchen in the condo). We climbed, huffing and puffing, all the way to the top of the lighthouse on Ponce Inlet and it was worth it! Mostly we read on the beach or on our fabulous balcony. This beach is so wide and the sand so soft that we could walk out 50 yards or more and still touch bottom to just chill as the waves bouyed us about. The hot tub at the pool, which the condo overlooks, was a delight after a long walk at dusk. The complex also has a marina on the river side and a nice clubhouse over there as well. This is a condo we will return to again. And next time we can bring our 2 adult kids and their fiancee's and rent Anni's family's other place too!! Anni - put us down for next October Columbus Day weekend!!

Amazing Views!!!

This quaint condo was the perfect place we chose to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary as well as my 40th birthday. All of the special touches made it feel quite "homey". The views were amazing. We spent so much time out on the huge private balcony relaxing on the chaise lounges. The location was also very convenient in location for our day trips into Orlando. We will definitely recommend this gem to others.

This condo and amenities are fantastic! The condo is comfortable, beautiful, and clean as well as the surrounding property. The owner is extremely helpful in answering all questions and even provides all the necessary "equipment" (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc...) for a relaxing day at the beach. Had a few really good meals including one at PJ's Seafood Shack. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Perfect Ocean Vacation

We highly recommend staying here. We were in total awe of the piece of paradise that we arrived to. The condo was charming- decorated in the beach theame. Plenty of room for our family of four. The grounds are beautiful as well as being on the end of the inlet next to the dunes park. From the view out on the balcony you can see the lighthouse and the most beautiful sunsets. Anni also has everything there ready for your afternoons at the beach- chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and lots of towels. My daughter enrolled in surf camp just about a mile down the beach. Many restaurants to choose from not far from the condo as well as lots of sight seeing to be had. The locals were very friendly. Far exceeded our expectations and hope that we can return again soon!

This is the perfect spot for a small family. The condo is homey and very well stocked, with a gorgeous pool.The owner is very easy to get in touch with and helpful. The beaches are the prettiest I've seen on the Atlantic. We saw dolphins, manatees, and tons of beautiful birds. There is a great local flavor here, its not just high rise condos and strip malls. New Smyrna Beach was very charming and my family and I will return.

Thank you so much for the use of your beach condo. It was fabulous. We are already scheming about how and when we will return! We had really perfect weather, except the day it rained, but even then it had stopped by the time we got back from Daytona, and we spent sunset out on the beach by ourselves. No one else it sight. Spectacular! I must say I was a little concerned about the cars driving on the beach, but the cars go really slow. Once the tide goes in you are so far from them anyway that they really are a non-issue. Already missing the sound of the waves and some of the most gorgeous sunsets we have ever seen!

Anni, we couldn't have been happier during our stay in your condo for the 2nd year. We just love everything about it: secure and beautiful community, gorgeous grounds, proximity to dunes park, heated pools, your beach gear, covered parking..... We again loved your unit and we hated to go. The layout is perfect and everything was exactly as we expeced. The only dissapointment we had this year was the lack of sand dollars on the beach. Oh well, it gives us an excuse to return again! Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home. We call you "Aunt Anni" in our house. One day we hope to meet you in person. Thank you so much!

This was our 1st experience renting through VRBO. We stayed at this property for the month of February 2010. This property was exactly as advertised and more. It is in a gated community with on site security. The condo was clean and fully equipped. We found the building to be exceptionally quiet during our stay, rarely heard any kind of noise whatsoever. The owner was extremely pleasant and accomodating. We did not get to take advantage of the heated pool and hot tub but through no fault of the owner or complex maintenance crew - this was 100% the fault of mother nature. The pool and hot tub were always heated and crystal clear. The exercise room and club house were terrific. The entire complex is extremely well maintained, including the grounds. There were people working on the ground regularly. When you find a gem like this, you kind of want to keep it to yourself but that would not exactly be fair to the owner. We have already booked for next year & are looking forward to our return. Hopefully mother nature will be a little kinder to us snowbirds next winter. Nice, long beach that is excellent for long walks. You can walk forever - we walked 5 miles almost everyday but you could go much further than that. We also enjoyed walking through Sand Dune Park which is right next to the complex. There is a chalkboard at the park entrance where visitors indicate what animals they saw with the time & marker number. With the beach and Sand Dunes Park at your doorstep, this is paradise for anyone who appreciates nature. Actually can't imagine anyone who would not enjoy all that this place has to offer. Thank you for letting us stay in your adorable condo. It is truly special, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I hope you know how lucky you are to own a piece of that magical spot. We were amazed at the different experiences offered by different parts of the inlet - all walking distance from your place. We saw a manatee and dolphins over at the river, giant turtles and interesting snakes in the dunes, amazing life - just teeming life - in the little tidal pools alongside the jetty. 'So amazing!

Anni, We had a great time staying at your condo last week. My son and his cousin participated in Jimmy Lane's Surf Camp and had a blast! Anni has a fabulous place with all the amenities of home. The oceanview was gorgeous and she had all the right toys for playing on the beach with the munchkins. Great size for a family of 4 with enought room not to feel crowded. We loved playing at the beach, hunting for shells and bodysurfing. We would return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Anni's condo in June. It is very nicely decorated and clean. The view from the condo balcony of the beach and the lighthouse is gorgeous, and the front balcony view of the Minorca complex is also nice, especially at night. The stretch of beach at the Inlet is perfect, a short walk to the rocks to watch the sun set behind the lighthouse, and a good place to find olive shells and sand dollars. Anni was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Thanks again!

If you are looking for a great laid-back, family vacation, or a couples get away, this is the place for you. Anni and her place are absolutely wonderful! No need to pack anything but your swim suits and flip-flops, because she has thought of everything. The views from the condo are spectacular! We sat on the balcony every morning and evening, and when we weren't sitting on the beach or balcony, we had the sliding doors open so we could hear the waves rolling into the shore. We truely had a fabulous vacation. I can't wait to come back and have another margurita and burger or fish sandwich at Breakers. We had a great time staying in this condo. It is very clean, very pretty and we loved having access to beach chairs, beach carts and beach toys without having to bring them from home. My daughter loved the Surfer's den, it was her own little hideaway. We had everything we needed including plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Annie was wonderful to work with when setting up our arrangements to New Smyrna. I would highly recommend this condo. We enjoyed eating at Blackbeards.

My wife and I stayed here the first week of July. It was our first time here and it was wonderful. Anni made us feel like we were at home. The view from the condo----AWESOME! I work 6 days a week and that vacation was exactly what I needed. I don't think Anni could have done anything more to make our stay better.

This was one of the best vacations we've ever taken! This condo was exactly as I was informed it would be...and better. It was perfect for myself, husband, 7 year old, and 3 year old. We stayed in this lovely condo last spring and had a delightful visit. Not only were we treated like family but the accommodations were fantastic! Many activities to choose from right on sight. There are pools with hot tubs, tennis courts, an amazing beach, surfing nearby and it borders a turtle sanctuary with miles of boardwalk to run/walk. We found many treasures on the beach but were most thrilled with the plethora of sand dollars. It really was a great family vacation. My family and I highly recommend it!
