JAY PEAK
SLOPESIDE LODGING
A warm welcome to the Tram Haus Condo. Our five-year old grandson, Liam, named our condo several years ago after watching the tram travel up and down to the peak. This was before Jay Peak named their new hotel "Tram Haus Lodge"
In the six and a half years we have owned the condo we have made many changes in the décor and ‘feel’ of the place. New wall to wall carpeting; new hearth; cozy yellow paint in the living room, dining room, and hall; new, more modern kitchen counter top with a breakfast bar; new refrigerator, range, and microwave; and added some decorative touches as well with ski posters and other wall and window hangings. Now the exterior of the condo has been redone, including all new windows and doors, to give an updated look which matches the rest of the homes and townhouses at Jay.
The Tram Haus backs up onto the ‘Queens Highway’ ski run, so you can put your boots on in the condo, walk downstairs to the ski locker, put on your skis and ski down to the Aerial Tramway, the High Speed Metro Quad Chair or the Green Mountain Flyer which will get you anywhere on the mountain. The breathtaking view from the front window looks far into the distance to the Memphemagog Lake valley. It is only a minutes walk down to the restaurants and pub, ski shop and recreation room and hot tub.
We hope you enjoy the condo and the resort as much as we do. It is our summer home and weekend get-a-way. The skiing is fantastic, and the snow is unbelievable. Come see for yourself.
Sincerely,
Ken & Marcia Casazza

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
We have been married for 35 years and have four daughters and eight grandchildren. Ken is a math and science teacher at St Paul's School in Concord, NH. and Marcia divides her time between grandchildren, hobbies and writing. A Mainer and a Tenn. country girl, we both love anything outdoors and skiing is one of our favorite pastimes. We spend our summers at the condo, hiking, backroading and exploring the beautiful bucolic Vermont countryside. This corner of VT is truly a Northeast Kingdom.
Why the Owner Chose Jay
Jay Peak has the most snow every winter in the East and the best glade skiing anywhere in the East. A dynamic building program is underway, with 2 new hotels, indoor NHL size skating rink, and an inside/outside water park being built and hopefully finished by next winter. An eighteen hole championship golf course was recently completed. With the new additions being built Jay will soon become a four season resort, and we are happy to be in on the ground floor of such exciting development.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our unit overlooks one of the main runs between the two sections of the mountain, Stateside, and Tramside. We are ski in/ski out, meaning that one can ski right from the property down to the tram or lodges. We are fully furnished with every item one could wish for including linens, towels, complete kitchen accessories and comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful stay @ the Tramhouse. It is exactly as advertised with the exception that it was much more cozy than we had believed. The location is perfect for ski on and ski off and also walking to the lodge for dinner/apre ski!! The condo was super clean and very well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. Looking forward to renting next year hopefully longer.

I could not have asked for a better time. No need to wake up early to get ready for the slopes. The condo skis right on to the tram haus. A few friends were able to wake up at our leisure have breakfast, a few "irish" coffees and get the ski day started. Awesome fire place, comfortable seating in the living room, comfortable beds, and even a ski bench at the front door to take off what is sure to be powder covered clothing from jay's PERFECT conditions. The kitchen is big enough for thanksgiving dinner! We sat in the living room looking out the sliding doors, watching skiiers fly by, that's how close you are. A ski locker is outside to store your stuff too! The property owners are a couple awesome people. They were quick to respond to my emails, and even met us at the condo to settle us in. If you are a family or a small group, this property is an absolute gem, located on what is without a doubt the best mountain in the east. We will definitely be coming back! Do yourself the favor.....

We have stayed in this particular condo a few times and are always thoroughly happy with our stay. The unit is well-appointed with everything you could need, from salt&pepper and coffee filters, to books and movies, to a washer/dryer and extra pillows and blankets. The decor is updated, comfortable and very clean with ulta-cool vintage ski posters and perfect lounging furniture beside the gas fireplace to warm your bones after a long day on the slopes. The real draw, of course, is the ski-in, ski-out convenience of being right on Queen's Highway! Walk out back, pop on your skis and you are on your way right to the main gondola and lifts. You can watch early birders and last-run fanatics zoom down Queen's Highway from the family room, kitchen or dining room! We have had the pleasure of a summer visit as well, and it is an easy 5-minute walk down to the Jay Hotel, the golf course or the hockey rink. Can't wait until our next return to try out the new water park with the kids and the spa! If you are looking for comfort, convenience and a great deal for your money, this is the condo to stay in!
