If you are tired of the boring hotel/motel monotony, and you're ready for a relaxing personalized experience, then you you're ready for this Blue Ridge Haven Cabin: Its cozy, comfortable, and is owned by a family who cares about their space. You will share in their cool decor with the amazing master bed, the eccentric and fun furniture, and vast array of very cool stones. Of course you want ammenites, and you will always be happy with the super hot shower and a kitchen that invites you to stay in and picnic on the back porch. The best thing? It's quiet, peaceful, and nature is everywhere...When you're ready for that night on the town, look up Chateau Morrisette. A taste of Europe right on the parkway with excellent food and very good wine...Yes, I really hated my stay here and I think you should come and hate it yourself ;) I think you'll be extremely happy, rested, sated, and ready to go back into the world... Maybe!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

A Blue Ridge Haven was the perfect place to stay for our wine festival weekend. There were 4 adults, 1 toddler, and a large dog. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house was definitely worth the price. Neighbors were quiet and residents were very friendly. The house was clean and was close to area restaurants and markets. The only minor issue we faced was a problem connecting to the wifi but I think that was an area problem.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This cabin has a good kitchen with all the major appliances relatively new and dishes, silverware, pots & pans. The washer and dryer was a big bonus. The bed downstairs was very comfortable but we had to hang a blanket over the window to block out light. There are tiny little swags for curtains throughout. The decor is a little quirky, with pieces of stone (granite, etc) worked in, especially as part of the floor in the bathroom, which is otherwise 'tiled' with wine bottle corks. The upstairs loft has a big bed and futon. The 2-story living room feels spacious and the fireplace and space heaters got the temperature up very quickly. We put our daughter in a pack-n-play in the downstairs bedroom with us and she slept great once we blocked out the light. It was extremely quiet. Loved sitting on the back porch and having coffee. This is one of the best cabins for a view that does not look out at other cabins. There is a fairly big flight of stairs to get in/out of the cabin. It's very close to Foggy Ridge Cider - don't miss that!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I took my girlfriend up for our anniversary since she had never been to the blue ridge parkway and the accommodations were perfect. We loved the fire place and the porch over looking the creek. I will definitely be coming back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Had a very nice early fall stay in the cabin. The blue grass down at the bottom of the hill is a definite must, as is Chateau Morrisette. Thanks, Steve!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just got back from a holiday weekend in Virginia where we attended the annual Hillsville Flea Market/Gun Show. The cabin was wonderful - very pretty, clean, convenient, well-equipped, and comfortable. The area is picture-perfect for a mountain vacation cabin. We will definitely go again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
