This Vacation home sits on the shores of beautiful Hood Canal. Stairs lead to the pristine waters of Hood Canal with loads of shellfish for your enjoyment. The house has two bedrooms plus a loft, and a queen size convertible sofa, easily sleeping four to nine. One bath on the main level with a tub and shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave. The living room and dining areas are one grand room with floor to ceiling windows providing for spectacular water views. Head outdoors from the great room onto the wrap around deck complete with BBQ and fireplace. No matter what time of year this house will make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Once you’ve spent one night here you will never want to leave. Upstairs in the loft enjoy the sweeping views of the canal and the surrounding forest. The loft has a comfortable bed and a reading area for those quiet and reflecting times. Refresh yourself in total peacefulness at this Hood Canal vacation retreat home. Explore pristine beaches, hike in the National Forest and Olympic National Park, watch eagles and all the other wildlife unique to the area. Hood Canal offers so many outdoor activities we can’t list them all. A few popular activities include; Kayaking Hood Canal right in front of the house to the Dosewallips and Duckabush rivers. Hike or bike the scenic forest and vast trails systems. Visit the Quilcene ranger station for informational maps and designated trails to the Olympic National Forest. Local Seafood is available depending on the time of year. Harvest shellfish on the beach just steps from the home. We’re easy to find, just one and a half hours from Seattle via the Bainbridge or Kingston ferry boats or drive around through Olympia and north on Highway 101. Plenty of amenities on site including a BBQ grill, washer/dryer, TV/DVD player and fireplace. Linens are provided.
