DESCRIPTION: Aloha! Spend your holiday, winter trip or working vacation on the Big Island at Alii Cove, Kona’s newest luxury condominium complex, only fifteen minutes from the airport, a five minute walk from Kailua-Kona town, and across the street from Honl Beach.
Alii Cove includes a waterfall pool, spa, children’s wading pond, play area, BBQ, fitness center, covered parking and lovely landscaping throughout.
Alii Cove in Kailua-Kona has it all as a vacation spot or off-shore office, and you will need several weeks to enjoy all the Big Island has to offer. Because Kona is on the leeward (dry) coast, all beach activities are year-round, great conditions almost every day, and within walking distance or a 15min drive. Longer drives will take you north to the Kohala coast, the Waipio Valley, the Parker Ranch country, the eastern rain forests, Hilo, Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea observatories, the south coast beaches, the Captain Cook historic site, and native Hawaiian cultural sites all around the island.
Our unit is in the KK building, the best in the complex. From our lanai (deck), you have clear views of the Pacific and Kailua Bay, all the better to sip your drink and watch the sun set, the cruise ships, the fishing boats and the water sports. From our loft, which is a combined office and spare bedroom, you have even clearer views out the Pacific; I’ve watched dolphins and whales during telephone calls! In the morning, from the loft, watch the sun rise over Hualalai, the mountain above Kailua whose slopes are home to the coffee plantations. Because KK it is directly above a heiau (a holy rectangle containing native Hawaiian artifacts), we have an unobstructed line of sight to the Honl beach surf; you go to sleep with the sounds of the waves. Finally, KK is near the back entrance of Alii Cove (Walua Road), so you can avoid the traffic on Alii Drive when driving to your shopping or next adventure.
Our two-story unit has a master suite/bath on the Pacific side, another bedroom on the Hualalai mountain side, gourmet kitchen and dining area, living and entertainment room, washer/dryer, another full bathroom, pantry, large closets, and a loft that we have set up as an office and extra bedroom. Carefully decorated and furnished, we enjoy the best and assume you do too.
To keep Alii Cove so nice, there is a thirty day minimum stay requirement by the condo association. Come stay with us for the best luxury value on the island and a visit you will never forget.
