This great 3 bdrm, 2 bath cabin was the perfect find for our ski trip to the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The location is perfect for access to Northstar, Squaw and all the other nearby resorts. The accommodations suited three adult couples perfectly. Additionally, the loft could sleep another 4 people, easily. The cabin is well maintained, clean and has everything you might need and is close to shopping and restaurants. Sonia and Ray were very accommodating and were very quick to respond to emails and answer any questions. We will definitely consider staying again.

Warm, comfortable and quiet

We spent a long weekend at this delightful house and found everything just as described. The house is warm and cozy and very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and dining at the more than spacious table. We made use of the BBQ and were happy to have reliable internet to stay in touch with work. The house is an easy drive to the ski slopes and shopping. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again in the future. We were also so very happy to be able to bring our dog. Perfect home base in great location

Thanks to Sonia for getting us a weekend rental at the last minute. The house is perfect for a casual retreat and it was well stocked with all the amenities you would want as if it were you own personal cabin. The linnens smelled fresh and clean, the house was neat and well organized and there was even coffee on the counter which was perfect because we forgot to bring coffee. Great hiking trails right out the front door and we never saw a car drive by so I was comfortable letting the kids play outside. We will definitely come back.

Perfect Thanksgiving

We had our best Thanksgiving ever this year! This cabin is perfect for a small to medium size family and a dog or two. It's old but cozy and centrally located to everything Tahoe has to offer. Sonia, the owner, was more than accommodating with helpful hints for just about everything. The only downfall is that the kitchen is pretty small so cooking Thanksgiving dinner was a bit of challenge, but that made it all the more fun for us :)

A wonderful Tahoe cabin

A great cabin with all the amenities of home in a great location. The cabin was decorated very nicely and it actually felt like a home that is cared for instead of a rental cabin. We particularly enjoyed the extensive hiking trails that we found in the Tahoe National Forest located across the street. The location, half way between Kings Beach and Tahoe City, is ideal to take advantage of biking, hiking, golf and lake access. We hope to come back next year.

Tagore house

The house was great! Pet friendly, warm & cozy, and quiet neighborhood. The kids played in the snow all around the house. The inside was decorated nicely and the kitchen has all new appliances. My family has rented this house many times over the past 20 years and I keep coming back! There was plenty of beds and the kids especially love the loft. Restaurants, slopes, shopping is all nearby. The lake is just down the road! I highly recommend this house for your North Shore get-a-way anytime of the year!

Dear Sonia, Thanks, once again, for the use of your cabin. (And feel free to adapt parts of this letter for use on the VRBO site!) We really loved staying there and can guarantee we'll be repeat customers. And please pass on to your housekeeper how pleased we were with how well she kept the house. With two small children (4 and 16 mos) constantly getting into everything (turning over cushions, "exploring" under beds, etc.), I was a bit worried that I'd need to be washing their hands a zillion times a day. But after a couple hours in the house, after unpacking and settling in and cooking my first meal in the kitchen, I was THRILLED that the cleanliness of the house was up to the standards I keep for my own home. And the kitchen -- it had everything I needed! I really enjoy cooking for my family, and it was a delight to find sturdy cookware (Calphalon pans, for instance) in the kitchen, along with all the tools I needed for treating my family to delicious vacation meals. We loved the collection of DVDs (for the parents and the kids), games, puzzles, and books. We took the kids sledding on the snowdrifts right outside the kitchen door, and it was just *perfect* for them, since this was their first time in the snow. We are looking forward to coming back again, and I have already recommended the house to a few friends with small children. Thanks again, Sonia!

Hi Sonia, I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful vacation my family and I had. Your house is amazing - it is beautiful and so inviting, and stocked with everything anyone could need in a home away from home. It's so nicely decorated and furnished, too - it has that perfect mountain/snow retreat feel to it. We were all really sad about having to go back home on Sunday, and are already thinking about when we can come back. Had the best time ever. Loved the location, away from the frenzy of Tahoe City, peaceful and quiet. We were there with 8 of our gal pals and maybe the neighbors didn't think it was too peaceful with all the laughter going on. Recommend highly for a relaxing get away or if you choose the night life it's just a short drive.

This cabin was fantastic to spend a weekend at Tahoe in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was very clean and in good condition. It was very close to many of the activities we wanted to do, and also had enough movies, puzzles and games to keep us entertained when we stayed in. I definitely recommend this place.

My family and I had a great time staying in your cabin. Our twin boys loved sleeping in the loft and our daughter enjoyed the large room upstairs. Just like the other comments, the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. It was very relaxing to come back after a busy day and enjoy the quiet. We will consider staying there again when we decide to visit Lake Tahoe again.

This house was the first time I tried out the VRBO system. The week my family and I stayed there felt just like home. My children aged 15 and 6 really liked the video collection. The loft beds appealed to them greatly. The Gas/Electric BBQ Grill made our dinner much more fun. The grill is very easy to use and has written instructions. There are also lots of outdoor activities to do all within 5-20 minutes drive. Sonia was really responsible in answering my questions promptly. If you are hesitant about this house, I can assure you that you will have a great time here! Thanks again Sonia, we will come back again.

Hi Sonia, Just wanted to say 'thanks' for the privilege of using your Tahoe cabin vrbo 156781 these last few days. It was absolutely perfect for us! There were so many things that I needn't have packed. Seems like you've got just about everything a vacationing family could want. The kids had a terrific time sledding on some of the neighborhood hills, Scott got in some skiing at Squaw and I almost finished the first book I've gotten to read in a long time! Hi Sonia, Happy New Year to you as well! We did get some snow during our visit which made for some great skiing! As for the house, it was perfect! We really enjoyed staying there and will likely look you up again when we're heading up to Tahoe. We enjoy cooking and sitting down with friends to eat, so the open kitchen and living/ dining room area was perfect for us. We played a bunch of the games in the house, vrbo 156781 and watched some movies, both of which are very nice touches for a rental house to have. Hi Sonia, We had a great time at your house. It was so quiet and beautiful. The kitchen is a cook's delight; lots of great knives, pans and even a good garlic press! I think the house is perfect.
