This first-floor condo unit boasts one of the best locations possible! Not only is it on beautiful Round Lake, it's also right across the street from the State Park...and right smack in the middle between Downtown Petoskey & Harbour Springs (15 minutes either way). Historic Mackinaw City is a 25 mile trip.

A 5-minute stroll out the front door & down a flowered path will bring you to a classy little shopping area...with a unique food store, butcher shop, wine & liquor store, tasty homemade breakfast place, fresh seafood restaurant and more.

FYI, I am originally from Chicago and my husband Kurt grew up in Detroit. We discovered Petoskey nearly 20 years ago and have gone back to visit every single year since. Our son and daughter also have so many happy memories of vacation times spent there. They especially love the beach, the state park and the scenic bike paths that run through town (which are wide, safe, & far away from any cars). I've also always been impressed with how CLEAN everything is there...and the flowers everywhere. There are lots of good restaurants, shopping, nightclubs and now this brand new, huge casino.

Whatever your interest, whether it is golf, shopping, eating at fine restaurants, fishing, swimming, skiing, hunting, antiques, gambling, bicycling, hiking, boating, family activities...or just relaxing. Petoskey has all of those and more to offer. Which is why we finally decided to invest in a condominium here. We figure this area isn't going to remain relatively undiscovered for too much longer.

NOTE: Our guests receive a set of keys to the private on-site heated indoor pool, whirlpool hot tub and sauna. Which sure feels good after a busy day out exploring!

Kitchen	Full Kitchen: The dishwasher and kitchen sink disposal are brand-new (we replaced them summer of 2007). Cooking Utensils Provided: There are plenty of pots, pans, casserole dishes, plates, glassware, cutlery to help prepare tasty meals. In nice weather it is lovely to eat on the back patio. Outdoor Features	Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: The gas BBQ grill is on the back patio which overlooks the fishing pond. Deck/Patio: A nice-sized patio overlooking the pond with its water fountain in the center. There is a round white patio table with 4 chairs.
Communications	Telephone: There are two telephones, one in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom. The kitchen unit includes an answering machine. Neither one will allow long-distance calls, so we recommend that our guests either use their cell phones or else purchase a long-distance calling card.
Other Amenities	This unit is directly across from the State Park with its public beach. And although you can't see it from the window, Round Lake is right around back (just a few steps from the front door of the condo!) There is also a stocked fishing pond off the back patio with fishing poles provided.
Suitability	No Pets Allowed: Owner is extremely allergic to cats (to dogs as well... but to a lesser extent). So no pets please! Kid Friendly Smoking Not Allowed
