Fabulous ocean views from every room in this beautifully renovated two bedroom, two bath condo! This is one of the finest light and bright units in the condominium complex. From the balcony you can overlook the pool & also look down the beach for miles. Watch the space shuttle and rocket launches from your own private balcony as Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center) is just south of New Smyrna Beach.
This lovely ocean view (non-smoking) unit is on the fifth floor of the complex, just yards from the Atlantic Ocean. It is completely updated throughout with large ceramic tile on diagonal in kitchen/living area & baths. White raised panel cabinets in kitchen & baths. Fully equipped kitchen has a cooking island w/glass top range. Nice open floor plan! Unit has cable TV with over 36 channels (TV's in living area & both bedrooms), DVD player, king bed, & two twin beds. All linens & towels are provided.
Hacienda del Sol II has a heated swimming pool, a kiddy pool, & a sun-deck right on the beach. The pool side cabana has a full kitchen, restrooms, showers, & two gas grills. On site shuffleboard is also available for your enjoyment.
New Smyrna Beach offers swimming, walking, biking, surfing, fishing, kite flying, shopping... or just lay back & listen to the ocean, watch the dolphins, manatees & enjoy the spectacular sunrises & sunsets. There are no cars on this portion of the beach, just beautiful white sand, pelicans, sand crabs, & sea turtles. Downtown New Smyrna Beach is a quaint town with waterfront seafood restaurants, surrounding marinas, deep-sea fishing charters, casino cruises, river cruises, nature preserves, & the Ponce Inlet fishing jetty. New Smyrna Beach straddles the Atlantic Intra-coastal Waterway & is really two towns in one. It is part island & part inland, oceanfront, & riverfront, complete with two downtowns.
Just south of New Smyrna Beach is the Canaveral National Seashore, a 57,000 acre national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. Canaveral National Seashore is one of the longest stretches of pristine coastline in the United States. NASA & the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services protect this long barrier island from the construction & development so prevalent on many Florida beaches. The park provides visitors with hiking trails, campsites, a restored turn-of-the-century home, museum & a visitors’ information center, which provides ranger-led educational programs throughout the year. It is home to more than 250 species of birds and land animals. Sea turtles often do their nesting along the beaches and the Seashore. Canaveral National Seashore serves as a refuge for endangered & protected species of Florida wildlife.
Grocery stores & restaurants are just minutes away. You can actually walk across the street (a block away) to one plaza with a grocery store, restaurant and shops. Also every Saturday morning try to make the Farmer's Market off Canal Street from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Nearby attractions include Daytona, 25 minutes away including the International Speedway; Cape Canaveral, 30 minutes away; & south Orlando attractions just over an hour away (Disney, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Sea world, & Gatorland). Port Canaveral (about 40 minutes away) has all the large cruise ships going to the Bahamas. Take a weekend trip there while vacationing in New Smyrna. So much to do in the sunshine state!

We chose New Smyrna Beach over other beach towns because of its beautiful, pristine beaches, state parks, and proximity to the north Orlando area (only about 45 minutes away). It has a quaint village feel... not to big and not too small with many choices for restaurants and shopping. Money Magazine voted New Smyrna Beach as one of the top beach towns in the southeast.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love to watch the awesome space shuttle launches off our balcony, just being north of the Kennedy Space Center. There is no driving on our beach which is another reason we chose this location over others. Don't miss the opportunity to take the New Smyrna Beach water taxi (which is very affordable) up the intercoastal to Ponce Inlet for lunch or dinner. Enjoy seeing the dolphins and an occasional manatee while on a local boat cruise. Come be our guests, you won't be disappointed.
State Park with miles of pristine beaches just north of where the space shuttle launches. Pay a small fee to drive into the park.
Follow the wooden plank boardwalk from the intercoastal to the ocean. See the U.S. Coast Guard station on the intercoastal side where dolphins are seen frequently.

My husband and I have always dreamed of owning a second home in New Smyrna Beach and now it is a reality for us. As a real estate broker/owner in the Orlando area, this is our home away from home. We have had fun remodeling our beach condo to personalize it to our taste. Just to see and hear the ocean waves from our spacious, light and bright condo makes us feel like we are on vacation. We enjoy boating and New Smyrna Beach has Ponce Inlet for quick access out of the intercoastal and into the Atlantic Ocean.

My husband and I really loved staying at Susan's beach condo. The location was excellent. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The beach was very private and had a resort feel. The condo was stocked with games, 3 televisions, and all the comforts to make our vacation wonderful. We will be back!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I have been privileged to be a guest in this condo several times since 2001. The property is always exceptionally clean and well maintained. Susan always makes sure that the condo is to our expectations and provides little things like coffee, a few sodas, and some goodies to get us by till we grocery shop. The balcony has a chaise lounge that combined with the sounds of the waves makes for a great nap, even in cooler weather. Walking on the beach and looking for turtles during the nesting season is also a favorite. My family and several friends observed a shuttle launch from the balcony in 2008. The view of the launch was amazing and will be remembered for many years. New Smyrna Beach is a unique little town with several interesting restaurants, a French bakery, some very unique shops and a water taxi that is well worth checking out. The water taxi makes several round trips a day to various points of interest, most across the Ponce de Leon inlet. I recommend you take it to lunch or dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants that are summer stops. If you are privileged to have an opportunity to visit Susan’s condo, you will not be disappointed with your accommodations.

My friend and I stayed in this lovely condo for a wonderful week's vacation. The condo is absolutely beautifully decorated, very clean and it has everything that you need right there. It is convenient to shopping area, places to eat,or just to take a nice walk on the beach, or to lay around the pool. At night we went down by the board walk and just sat and watched the ocean. It was awesome. From the balcony, we could get a perfect view of the ocean, the pool, and we were even able to watch the shuttle at the time of our visit from our balcony. It is just a perfect location . It has everything like the comforts of "Home".. I felt very much at home there. It was terrific and I want to thank Susan for such a lovely place. I had a wonderful vacation staying there..and I do hope to go back again. I didn't want to leave in the first place. It was great.
