The Discovery Point Club is a beautifully maintained resort that has been awarded a Superior rating by the Cayman Department of Tourism. The resort is located on the western end of World Famous Seven Mile Beach on the island of Grand Cayman. Grand Cayman is the largest of the three British-owned islands in the Western Caribbean Sea and is world renowned for it's amazing beaches, unbelievable scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing.
Come enjoy this wonderful Caribbean Island Paradise in our first floor, beach and ocean front condominium. Our screened-porch is less than 150 feet from the water; which averages 80+ degrees almost year round. The weather temperature averages 80s by day and 70s by night. Our unit is 1 of 45 Condos in the resort and offers two fully equipped bedrooms, two baths and a fully equipped and updated kitchen. One bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed, and there is a queen hide-a-bed in the living room for extra guests. The entire Condo can accommodate six people easily.
This Condo is our home and is decorated as such; not decorated as a rental property. There are tile floors, Corian counter tops, stainless steel appliances plus quality furniture and accessories decorated with a sense of true island style.
The 12 foot sliding glass door opens onto a screened-in porch which overlooks world famous Seven Mile Beach and gives you a "picture perfect" view of the ocean 24 hours a day. Walk outside and you will already be on the beach! Great for watching the sun set or the moon rise! Also great for star gazers!
In addition, there is a new swimming pool and jacuzzi, both ocean side, for the exclusive use of you and your guests 24 hours a day. Two tennis courts, a basketball hoop and numerous BBQ grills are also available for use on the resort grounds.
Daily maid service, broadband internet connection, beach and bathroom towels, satellite television and modern stereo system are provided for your use and entertainment at no additional fee. A telephone is available for you to make local calls as needed. Long distance/International calls can be made, but only at the Renter's expense.

Year Purchased: 1986
Neil is a CPA and owns his own business in Lincoln, Nebraska. In his spare time he enjoys landscaping, traveling and spending time with family. Neila is a retired interior designer who owned and operated her own business for 25 years. She still does some free lance designing and enjoys antiquing and making and designing jewelry. During the summer months, they spend most weekends at their quaint cabin on wonderful Lake Wa-Con-Da in the Missouri River Valley and host an amazing annual 4th of July weekend extravaganza with some awesome fireworks to boot!
Why the Owner Chose Seven Mile Beach
We chose to buy in Grand Cayman after we vacationed there because we had immediately fell in love with the island. It is a place we always enjoy visiting. It is also a very safe and clean island. The native islanders are some of the nicest people in the entire Caribbean, especially the staff at Discovery Point Resort. Walking right out the front door and being on the beach is a dream come true. There is nothing else like it!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Mostly sitting and appreciating the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Being able to wake up in the morning, without a care in the world and walking down the hall to see the ocean out through the sliding glass doors. One of our favorite things to do is floating in the ocean on rafts. There is nothing quite like it. We also enjoy purely relaxing which is impossible not to do with the slow pace of the entire island. There are many great restaurants, tourist attractions, marines, and nightlife activities very close to the condo.

. If you want to take the perfect vacation this is the place to be. From our first inquiry about the condo up untill our departure from Grand Cayman, Neil, Annrose and Ollie answered all our questions. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything you would ever need. The washer dryer was a huge asset. No dirty laundry went home. The ground floor location was great for those of us with older knees. The view was priceless. The fruit basket on arrival to the condo was a wonderful surprise. We went to the local Fosters IGA (make sure to take your own bags if you go) and saved money by eating breakfast, lunch and a few dinners at the condo. The view from the beach and snorkeling were so great we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We spent most of our time out front on the beach and face down in the water watching the ever changing fish show. Our beginners loved it for they did not have to go out very far and could still see many types of marine life. We were far enough from Georgetown that the cruise ship traffic did not affect us but close enough that it was a short trip to shop, sight see etc. We want to thank you for sharing this beautiful condo with us.. Thank you to all the staff at Discovery Point Club for all thier help. We are already talking about our next trip and bringing along the rest of the family. We hope that we will be able to stay here again. Thank you for a vacation that we will never forget.

My wife and I stayed in this condo in January 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The immediate access to the beach and pool were just what we were looking for and the condo is very well appointed and maintained. We would love to return to this complex, and this condo in particular, given the opportunity in the future.

Having the beach and water a walk right out the door is a good place to spend a vacation. The location on 7 mile beach is away from the crowd but not too far away so it's easy to enjoy morning walks, beautiful sunsets and great snorkeling just a short walk away at Cemetery Reef. The condo is well furnished, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is very accommodating and a pleasure to have available. This is a place we would put high on our list to spend a vacation.
