  I agree with the previous reviews so there's no need to repeat the obvious. The condo is well appointed. My husband and I enjoyed lounging around the beach. We snorkeled quite a bit right out front. The manager and owner were very easy to deal with. The office arranged an excursion for us. We didn't want to leave.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  My husband and I spent seven nights at Discovery Point Club, #6 in late March with one other couple. The first floor condo was a perfect set up for two couples. There was adequate privacy for each couple with separate bathrooms off of each bedroom. Although we really only chose to eat our morning meals at the condo most days, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially in assisting us to line up a boating excursion with one of the locals. The water was "50 steps" from the patio door of the condo. It was great. The condo is located on Seven Mile Beach where the water was warm, calm and very clear. The snorkeling was outstanding and although we walked down the beach to Cemetery Reef a couple of times for the highly touted snorkel experience, we soon found out that the snorkeling was nearly as good right in front of the condo. The beach was not crowded at all. There was never a concern for finding empty chairs on the beach like we have experienced at some resorts. The condo faces west and it was a treat each evening to watch sunset from the beach before heading out for our evening meal. For the past several years, our winter travels have taken us to all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. While this was a much different experience, we loved it. It was much more casual, private and relaxing than a busy resort. We were also curious as to how the cost of a condo with food and drink would compare to the cost of an all-inclusive resort. We were all pleasantly surprised at the end of our stay that the cost at Grand Cayman was very comparable to our all-inclusive trip to Mexico last year. The four of us are already discussing a plan for our next trip to Discovery Point Club!

  . If you want to take the perfect vacation this is the place to be. From our first inquiry about the condo up untill our departure from Grand Cayman, Neil, Annrose and Ollie answered all our questions. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything you would ever need. The washer dryer was a huge asset. No dirty laundry went home. The ground floor location was great for those of us with older knees. The view was priceless. The fruit basket on arrival to the condo was a wonderful surprise. We went to the local Fosters IGA (make sure to take your own bags if you go) and saved money by eating breakfast, lunch and a few dinners at the condo. The view from the beach and snorkeling were so great we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We spent most of our time out front on the beach and face down in the water watching the ever changing fish show. Our beginners loved it for they did not have to go out very far and could still see many types of marine life. We were far enough from Georgetown that the cruise ship traffic did not affect us but close enough that it was a short trip to shop, sight see etc. We want to thank you for sharing this beautiful condo with us.. Thank you to all the staff at Discovery Point Club for all thier help. We are already talking about our next trip and bringing along the rest of the family. We hope that we will be able to stay here again. Thank you for a vacation that we will never forget.

  My wife and I stayed in this condo in January 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The immediate access to the beach and pool were just what we were looking for and the condo is very well appointed and maintained. We would love to return to this complex, and this condo in particular, given the opportunity in the future.

  Having the beach and water a walk right out the door is a good place to spend a vacation. The location on 7 mile beach is away from the crowd but not too far away so it's easy to enjoy morning walks, beautiful sunsets and great snorkeling just a short walk away at Cemetery Reef. The condo is well furnished, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is very accommodating and a pleasure to have available. This is a place we would put high on our list to spend a vacation.
