The location was perfect and we had a great time. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. We loved the fact that we did not have to use our car for the 3 days that we were there. The neighborhood was great and we really got a feel for what it would be like to live there. I would definitely stay there again. Our favorite thing was walking to the Cow's End to get a delicious cup of strong coffee and our daily dose of people watching in the morning and then walking the canals and looking at all the amazing houses and impressive architecture.

Great location in a nice quiet neighborhood. Close enough to the beach and other area attractions. The suite was very cute and clean. We enjoyed a such a beautiful weekend in Venice. This place was perfect for us, we were very impressed with the accommodations. Can't wait to come back!

A simple, small room with a great location! Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. Cross the street and walk the famous canals of Venice, Calfornia. An easy walk to Venice Beach and the So Cal vibe of coffee houses, bike shops, restaurants and watering holes. Abbot Kinney and all it's nightlife is also a walkable distance. A fun place to stay.

This small, cozy apartment is in an ideal location for experiencing Venice in all its charm. I went during March, the off season, and had the beach all to myself. As a northerner it was plenty warm! The restaurants nearby are wonderful - especially Aunt Kizzy's, and the canals so nice to wander through. The apartment was very comfortable, safe and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay very much. More of a home feel than a hotel and a great price. The room is small but if you are coming to SoCal to stay in your room you should probably rethink your vacation plans. It is very close to a ton of fun places.

This was ideal for me - It is close to the beach, clean, private, safe, and convenient. I would stay again when I return to the area. Thanks

This was a complete disappointment. There are at least 4 units in this property, and the noise from each is transmitted to this unit. The main unit is directly above, and last evening the party started at midnight, I approached the renters at 1:30am asking for quiet, and again at 3pm. Their promise was they would break it up now, but tomorrow night, Saturday, there will be a real party. I also hear the adjacent tenants as they move around. Access to the unit is tricky; by a key pad that must be used several times for entry. The space itself is mediocre at best with cheap bedding, no 600 tread count on this bed. The so called orthopedic mattress top is nothing more than a 1 inch foam pad on the cheap mattress. The bed rolls around each time it is bumped. The unit lack an sense of maintenance or care; certainly no love here. Poor workmanship throughout. Horrible wall finishing, and pathetic plumbing fixtures, with mold around the tub, half tube of toothpaste and other personal items were still in the medicine cabinet. The wall brackets for the tv and dvd are college age stuff. The "kitchenette" is a 2x2 foot space with a fridge. microwave and a supply of dishes and utensils. Poor lighting for reading, and a lame 19 inch tv. Yes, the architecure is pleasing from the outside, and yes, it is convenient to the beach, restaurants, etc, and parking was relatively easy. Beyond these features, to me, this accommodation is horrible. Any outside areas, patio, etc. is for others, and the quite french doors open directly to a fence. Don't rent here unless you have no other options. Secure a place without living space above, and a unit where the owner shows care and respect.
Owner response:I'm so sorry this guest had a bad experience. He seemed to find it fine for the first several nights but on the last night there were other guests upstairs that were too loud. He never mentioned being disappointed in anything other than the other guests. Nevertheless, I gave him a complete refund for that night with no argument and full apologies. Everyone else who has stayed here loved it, we try very hard to make this a pleasing accommodation and it seems in this case we were not able to please this guest.

Have stayed three times; find it very conveniently located, quiet street, small but clean and well maintained accomodations, very comfortable bed. Ideal if you don't want to spend a lot of money in a fancy place on amenities you're not going to use anyhow. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my sister for one week and we enjoyed very much! The place is great located, close to many restaurants and the beach (Venice beach). And the place is also very save for girls too. The room is very good, you will find everything that you need in it! Great Deal.I hope to go back soon.
