Just returned from a 9-day mini family reunion on Maui. Six of us stayed at this condo and it was wonderful! We stocked up at Costco and did breakfast and lunch at the condo everyday with dinner out. (Highly recommend Kimo's & Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina; Leilani's on the Beach in Ka'anapali; Buzz's Wharf just a short walk from the condo.) Location is perfect--lanai faced the bay where we saw the sunrise every morning and moonrise every night and sea turtles swimming just about every day--short drive times to Lahaina, Ka'anapali and Kihei. With the trade winds blowing, we slept with the windows and doorwall wide open every night which was very pleasant to those on the sleeper sofa and in the loft. The only downside was the back bedroom remained warm even using the box fan. Owner was helpful from day one when I was researching condos to rent; we had some minor problems while there (toilet leak, router went out), but someone from the rental company was out within an hour of my calls to make repairs. We made all our excursion reservations through Boss Frog's in Lahaina--the staff was outstanding! Since we weren't bringing any kids on our vacation, we chose Feast at Lele for our luau experience and it lived up to its hype of most romantic luau. I would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend this condo to a friend!

Wake up to Paradise!

My friends and I shared this condo for 8 nights and it was perfectly what we were looking for. The location was perfect for those who are renting a car and, you will if you're in Maui! The condo was well kept and Nancy supplied us with beach towels, boogie board, bags, ice boxes, and so much more. It was such a pleasure to wake up every morning to such an awesome view!! Fabulous Condo!

Mahalo Nancy for your friendly hospitality and for letting us rent your condo during our 2 week stay in Maui in March. It was perfect, so well kept, beautifully designed, modern appliances, comfy beds, amazingly quiet air conditioning, lots of towels, dishes/pots/pans, all the beach items we needed. The special carts at the elevator to bring our luggage/groceries up to the suite, really handy! The wi-fi was great to have. The computer too so we could look at the photos on our camera and email our friends that we don't want to come home :) Like one of the other reviews, we had to take our sandals off and walk on the incredible grass, the grounds are so well kept and nice to sit out there enjoying the sun, ocean and breeze, very peaceful. The view is fabulous and an excellent central area to stay as it's close to Kihei, Lahaina, Kahului etc. It was wonderful to wake up to the site and sounds of the ocean.

Perfect Condo in Paradise

Thank you so very much for the use of your wonderful condo and your generosity during our stay. We loved every minute of it. Waking up every morning to sunshine flowing into our bedroom and having coffee on the lanai with that fabulous view is a simply indescribably wonderful way to start every day. We also loved having such a beautiful lawn below where we could sit and listen to the ocean sounds and feel that Maui breeze while sunning or reading and felt very fortunate to be staying at such a consistently well-maintained property. We grilled several nights in the common area and found the other owners and guests to be very friendly and it was fun to share our day's activities with each other. We simply loved your place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect vacation. Thank you again -- and again and again!

Little Piece of Paradise!

First of all Nancy, Mahalo for sharing your wonderful little piece of paradise with us! This property was exactly as promised! We were a little hesitant at first since this was our first experience with vrbo.com. and our first stay on Maui. Once we arrived all our concerns were put to rest. The condo was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed or wanted. The view from the loft and kitchen/livingroom on the main floor was awesome! It was so relaxing to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. The sunrise over Haleakala was breathtaking from the lanai with morning coffee. We particularly enjoyed the tropical breeze in this area which made it comfortable compared to other locations on the island. The ceiling fans kept the condo quite nice without really needing the air conditioning. The location was perfect for us. Quiet central location to be able to relax without the "resort" feeling, yet close enough to drive to them when you wanted. We would recommend the Pacific Whale Foundation day trips, as well as Beach Bums, both are within walking distance from the condo. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. I would certainly recommend this location. I hope to return again sometime.

Wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to Maui. Staying at your condo was THE best. We had all the conveniences of home.Sitting on the lanai at sunset, having a Mai Tai, and watching the whales play with their babies was a memory of a lifetime. We brought our kids ages 10 and 16 and they both enjoyed the bumper boats, climbing wall, and boogie boarding. Michael and I enjoyed morning walks at Sugar Beach while the boys enjoyed the gentle waves at Haycraft Park. Thank you for sharing your condo and all your help in making this a memorable travel experience. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Great location and good deal for our group

Six of us (6 adults and a 5-year-old) just spent four nights at this property and enjoyed its convenient location and the clean/well-maintained unit. Although I felt that sleeping 6 was pushing it (the bed on the second floor loft and the sofa bed on the bottom floor does not have any physical separation and the TV downstairs would disturb those trying to sleep upstairs), we were able to sleep comfortably. The view from the loft and the balcony was great... I wish I could wake up to that every morning. Maalaea harbor was a true "walk" away... it took 5 minutes to get there to check in for our boat trips (snorkeling/whale watching). This was a much better alternative to having to drive and park from some other park of the island. Check in and check out (key drop in the early morning) was simple. I would consider this unit and any other part of this island for my next stay on Maui.

Great Place (Stay Here)

My Fiancee and I were here last March from Seattle for a quick vacation and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. We spent two nights her and two nights at the Wailea Marriott and though the Marriott was nice, the condo was even nicer and much more affordable. The views are unparalleled and the location is unbeatable. Everything is within a 5 or 10 minute drive, this condo is right off of the main road and in the center of it all. Nancy the owner was great and made the process so simple. I recommend to everyone that they stay here, as you will be hard-pressed to find a better view coupled with a more convenient location with all of the luxuries of home.

My favorite was the view that we woke up to each morning, from our bedroom, and even loved it when I would wake up during the night & could see the palm trees swaying, also loved the beautiful kitchen & living area. The grounds were so beautiful, I couldn't walk on the grass without taking my shoes off, it felt so good to walk barefoot. After driving all over the island and seeing the resort that my sister was staying at in Wailea, we thought your location was the best location and preferred the condo to their resort..."

Thank you for sharing your lovely condo. My husband and I visited Maui for our anniversary and thought your location was perfect. It was so peaceful. We loved walking on Sugar Beach, smelling the Tropical Ginger and Plumeria, and BBQing our fresh caught Ahi. Waking to the sound of ocean waves and the view of swaying palms was so romantic. And having that first cup of coffee on the lanai while watching the whales breech... amazing. We were thankful that you provided beach chairs, towels and a cooler. Made those day trips so easy.
