Beautiful, 3 bedroom 2,500 square foot 2 storey stilt home in the beautiful tropical setting of Ramrod Key at mile marker 27, that's just 27 miles from the craziness of Key West and Duval Street.
I have just bought an ocean front property in Cudjoe and will be renting this soon.
Master bedroom with king bed and a huge bathroom which has a double shower with 2 heads and controls, double vanity and a jacuzzi bathtub, atrium doors leading out to your personal deck. Second and third bedrooms have queen beds. Second bathroom also has a huge shower and a jacuzzi bathtub. Patio overlooking the canal as well as deck area downstairs. Rooftop deck in addition. Lush tropical setting with lots of coconut palms.
Rear yard is fenced for our Yorkie.
Family room in addition to the formal living room. 2 canals in from open water on the Atlantic side with no bridges.
Bring your boat and park at the dock. World famous Looe Key is a short boat ride for fantastic SCUBA diving in the clear water. 2 restaurants and bars for dining a mile away and the Wynn Dixie supermarket is 3 miles away on the next Key as is the public library. Lovely Bahai Honda State Park close by with its beautiful sandy beach. Some of our favorite local haunts are Geiger Key and No Name Pub. There is also a new Mexican Restaurant on Big Pine on US1.
Bahia Honda, a Florida State park with a beautiful sandy beach is just a short car ride away.

We have rented this house for the past two winters for two month stays each time. The property is exactly as described and our stays couldn't have been better. The house is clean and comfortable with all the amenities including satellite TV and high speed internet. The location is perfect whether you want a quiet escape or a quick run to Key West or Marathon. It is a kayakers paradise with quick access out to the reef and plenty of canals to explore. Bring bikes as it is easy riding on the walking/biking paths along the road. The neighborhood is friendly and we enjoyed walking and biking each morning greeting the neighbors. Enjoy the sunsets from the upper balcony off the master. The two island tiki bars provide nightly entertainment, Happy Hours, and food ranging from fun to fancy. Probably the best recommendation we can give is that we enjoyed our time on Ramrod Key so much, we are buying our own place there. Thanks to the Kings for sharing this wonderful place with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house was perfect for my husband and I. We loved having our coffee on the screened porch and having dinner while enjoying the sunset. The location of the house on the canal provided quick ocean access. Ramrod Key is a great location for day trips to Marathon or Key West. Great Tiki Bar/Restaurant within biking distance. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing.

Rates
April 1st thru December 31st $2,500 per calendar month plus tax and cleaning fee. Jan. Feb. and March $3,000 plus taxes of 12.5% and cleaning fee $140. January, February, March & April 2014 already reserved To book $400 with rest 21 days before arrival, $400 refundable security deposit. $140 Cleaning fee If you cancel deposit can only be refunded if property gets re-rented. I do not use the Availability Calendar.

It is as close to a tropical island as you can get without getting wet. So peaceful and yet near enough to Key West to go there when we want. Couple of really good pubs nearby.
