Why the Owner Chose Ormond Beach
We have traveled and lived for short periods of time at different places along the Central Atlantic coast - New Smyrna, Port Orange, Palm Coast. But Ormond Beach made a very distinct impression on us. This little town had its own character and class, yet was very convenient for every day life.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The minute we walk into the house we cannot help but feel as if we were on vacation, even if it is just for a weekend. The neighborhood is quiet, the sound of the ocean is soothing and relaxing.
One of the best things we enjoy is piece and tranquility. There are no hotels or resorts in close proximity and you can enjoy some solitude and privacy at the beach or walking trail. No crowds, noise and traffic is the most important thing for us when we get away from the city.

In 2007 my wife and I came to Florida from Seattle, Washington and 3 months later we knew that we were not coming back to Seattle. After 15 years of cloudy, rainy and damp climate we were happy just realizing that there would be sunshine in the morning. Add to that my love for the ocean (and the fact that you can actually stay in the water unlike the Pacific Northwest) and we had a perfect place for our lifestyle.
