  The trip was wonderful. We all loved the bay (the calm, warm water) and the resort was so peaceful. Many days we were the only ones at the beach – it was just what we needed. The house was great – big enough that we never felt like we were on top of each other. We spent almost every morning having coffee on the back deck watching the geese and ducks fly in to the lake. Our last night we watched the sunset on the beach – the kids thought that was great.

  If you are looking for the perfect getaway this is it. The house is beautiful the surroundings are prestine. The private beach peaceful. My family and I had the greatest time and would with out a doubt rent this house again. Fishing its there fun in the sun its there all with the quiet and peace of home and if its the city you crave virginia beach is just a short drive away but id recommend the private beach or pool located on the beautiful bay creek resort property . The property was exactly as advertised with everything you need including beach equipment . We would give it 10 out of 10.

  The house was even nicer than we expected from the description. It was very spacious and all the furnishings were great. Much nicer than other rentals we've had in the area. We also loved the Bay Creek community. There are two golf courses in the community and the landscaping is incredible: lots of magnolia trees and manicured lawns. The private beach and community pool were great.options for young kids. Overall the perfect vacation rental for families with young kids.

  We had a wonderful experience staying at the lake house. The view from the backyard was fantastic and secluded by landscaping. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved the pool located on site. It was never busy and extremely nice. We also took advantage of golfing while on-site. I would recommend this location for anyone who enjoys golfing. There are 2 very nice courses to choose from. We also spent some time in Virginia Beach (a 40 minute drive) enjoying the fireworks and nightly performances on Beach Street USA as well as a concert at the Virginia Beach Ampitheatre. My husband also enjoyed a few days of fishing. The property location offered a lot of activities for people of all ages. Most appliances/utensils, etc. in the house were much better grade than found in other rental properties. The washing machine was a heavy load washing machine (great for washing all the beach towels, etc. at once). I would definitely stay at this facility again!

  This house was perfect for us as the kids had plenty of room to stretch out and I got tons of nap time (which was one of the big goals for this trip). It was so nice to come home from a day at thebeach and be able to cook some hot dogs and put in a movie. This house blew hotel rooms out of the water. We'll be back.

  This is a wonderful home in a secure gated community, with all the amenities you will need for a great family get-away. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, very spacious and right in the center of everything. Close to beach, pool, and golf courses! This was our family's second trip to Bay Creek and we will be returning.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Great spacious, modern home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the wildlife at the lake and looking at the starry skies at night. The community is beautifully landscaped, and the kids liked riding their bikes to the pool. Plenty of walking paths, and the beach is awesome. This home is beautifully decorated, and we were so comfortable it felt like home. Very close to the town of Cape Charles. If you're a golfer, this is paradise. I highly recommend this home.
