In the fabulous Kirkwood Mountain and Ski Resort, this vacation rental house is located on Danburg Road (#48) and is just a few minutes from the main lodge/village and ski lifts, and only a short drive to the historic Kirkwood Inn, Caples Lake and Silver Lake. This secluded, comfortable, warm and spacious (2,000+ square foot) home has high ceilings and numerous large windows for spectacular unobstructed views of Red Cliffs and Kirkwood Meadows. The house sits on 1/2 acre wooded lot and is approximately 40 paces from the road and parking area. During the winter, there is free shuttle service to the ski lifts and village.
The house has been re-carpeted throughout and the kitchen recently remodeled, and is fully appointed and well maintained. There are three bedrooms and loft with one king size, one queen, one double, three twin beds and two futons. Additional features include two new recliner couches in the living room and a new 42" flat screen HDTV with Blu-Ray DVD, along with cable TV in the master bedroom.
Available year round, it is ideal for families, kids and adults who are seeking active outdoor recreational opportunities including down-hill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking and many other activities.
