See our to-die-for views of the lake and of mountains in three states. Pink sunsets melting behind the mountains are magnificent, so pretty that a couple recently had their wedding on the dock at sunset! Perched on a peninsula in the main part of the lake (big water!), you can watch your children and friends tubing, wake boarding and skiing right in front of you. The dock is large enough for your boat or a rental boat to dock during your stay.
You will relish the quiet moments in front of the fireplace, drinks on the deck at sunset, counting the stars at night on the dock, and drinking coffee in the morning on the penthouse balcony. What could be better?!
Throughout the house are stunning all wood floors, walls, and vaulted ceilings crafted with hickory, red oak, black walnut and pine. You can see the lake and mountains from every room! Its state of the art kitchen has the newest stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, with roomy dining for 12 or more.
The penthouse master bedroom has a private deck overlooking the lake activity, a king size canopy bed (with a pillow top mattress), and a steam shower and whirlpool tub in the Tuscan master bathroom.
The large, upstairs second master bedroom has a king size bed with a pillow top mattress, a full bathroom, a spectacular view the minute you wake up, and a beautiful stained glass window shining its bright colors into your room.
A Country French bedroom on the main floor has hand painted rustic furniture, a high ceiling, and its own bathroom.
Downstairs is a perfect place for kids to play games and watch their own large screen Direct TV. Filled with Native American artifacts it is often visited by adults as well. The kids dorm has a bunk bed and a pillow top twin bed.
Relax on the wrap around porch with its hand made cypress rocking chairs and large lounge chairs for complete comfort while you read or snooze. Snoozing is also allowed in the hammock swinging next to the lake.
On our lot we have preserved and renovated one of the original cottages built after the Burton Dam was finished in the early 1930s. Used as a guest cottage, it still has a working hand stacked stone fireplace and antique furniture in the bedroom which has a double bed and a bathroom with an old fashioned tub. Including a full kitchen, the cottage has been lovingly decorated to keep its charm and cozy feeling. There is a discount to your rate if you do not need the guest cottage.

Eat at excellent restaurants, including Southern family style, steaks and fish, Italian, and Mexican. See Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park. Just wanted to send you a note thanking you for sharing your beautiful home! It could not have been more perfect (especially the master suite!...wow!!). There was plenty of room for our group and everything that we needed was right there. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everybody is already talking about booking it for next year!

Your Lake Burton home was the perfect setting for our wedding celebration weekend. The pictures on the Internet, while very pretty and inviting, did not do your picturesque home and view justice. We had a wonderful weekend and thank you again for your graciousness and for assisting me with the details of the house and area for our enjoyment.

We recently enjoyed a family reunion at this beautiful paradise on the lake. The owners made sure that each person was comfortable and happy in the lap of luxury. The views are spectacular from every window, and there was a feeling of privacy that we all enjoyed. The whole house was used, with the kids staying and playing in the basement bedroom and den. We took several pontoon boat tours of the lake, and the kids enjoyed tubing all day long on Saturday. The gourmet kitchen came in very handy for cooking a delish supper. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful vacation spot.
