Upon arrival the floors obviously had not been mopped. Sand on the floor and what looked to be spilt coffee. Tried to mop floor but the mop there just wouldn't get it. The kitchen table and chairs were stained and dirty looking. Walls and baseboards dirty. We have stayed at Phoenix X several times in other units and this one was the worse by far. Feel like the owners should make an appearance and check it out. Maybe find different cleaning crew. Bed slept ok after we washed sheets first. Not very nice! Sorry usually don't say anything bad but very disappointed.

Owner response: We strive to make each of our guest feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed while enjoying our beach front condo. As the condo is a rental condo wear and tear do occur. Items seem to disappear. When we received this review we were concerned. In view of that we have taken corrective action to address all issues mentioned. As the owners we take pride in our Condo’s. Currently we offer 16 beach and bay front condo’s and offer superior quality condo rentals at fair prices. We have reviewed the previous 20 guest reviews and 18 out 20 RATE the unit as 5 STAR. We feel the cleaning issues were a one time thing and have addressed this with our cleaning company.

Thank you for the rental of your condo. We had a great time and would definitely rent from you again. I also appreciate your setting us up in the 3 BR when a booking error occurred on the 2 BR in San Carlos. I think this location was a better fit for us and we made the most of our time in Orange Beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. I especially loved the balcony where I watched the dolphins eating their breakfast while I was eating mine! Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you,

Our First Long Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in your cheerful condo which has everything you need for a long stay. The condo was very clean, which is very important to me. I loved sitting out on the balcony and listening to the waves and walking on the beach it was very relaxing. The owners were very easy to work with and we hope to come back. Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable

Fantastic view of Gulf, the beach is beautiful in this area.Condo is very nice and the property amenities are excellent. Great place to be even when the weather is cold. Owners are great to deal with, very prompt in replying to emails and supplying information.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thanks Kelly for a perfect retreat. My friends and I left jobs and families for a few days and enjoyed being in your condo. It was very comfortable, and we had everything we could have possibly needed. It was a pleasure working with you. We will be back!

We had a very nice time. My brother in law and sister in law came over from Mobile to meet up with my husband and I for the weekend. This condo was really nice. Would love to stay there again! The view is great!

We had a very enjoyable trip. Spending time on the beach, they were very clean and went deep sea fishing it was fun even though the water was rough. Flora Bama was great as always hope to get back to the beach for the Mullet Toss.

Everything was perfect for a girls weekend, the new couches were comfy, the rooms were spacious and the bathroom situation was not a problem, (2 bathrooms for 9 ladies). The living room was very spacious and the balcony had a perfect view. The pool was a very nice size to accomodate a lot of people at one time, and the beach was a short walking distance. Conveniently located next to the flora bama, we were able to come and go at our leisure. Would definitely stay here again, thanks Mr. Patterson!

Even though it was not recommended to get into the water due to the chemicals from the oil spill, and there were tar balls everywhere, our stay was terrific. The view was amazing, the condo well stocked, and the pools were a daily hit. We loved the Oyster House and Lulu's. But go early so you won't have to wait long. The FloraBama is right next door if you like the bar scene, and shopping is very close. The owner of this condo is very approachable, answers emails, and calls immediately. All around a great experience and one we will repeat!

We love Orange Beach and have been for the past several years. This is our first time in the Phoenix X and we loved that area of the beach in comparision to the other places we have stayed. We will definitely book again at Phonix X and would love to stay in this condo again. It was very clean, well furnished, and had plenty of space.

No frills bargain

We have stayed at the Phoenix X dozens of times, it's a great facility. This unit has just about everything you would come to expect, but nothing extra. Most other units at the Phoenix X are better decorated and have a better selection of kitchen items you'll need to cook in the unit. It's a great bargain for the price and perfect for those who do not think they should pay extra for nicer furniture, etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Orange Beach and found the Phoenix X to be a great location: a beautiful beach and next door to the Florabama. This unit was clean and well-suited for a brief beach vacation. There were a few minor issues: the dryer was not working well (3 cycles to dry towels, but luckily we used a dryer in a friend's unit) and there was only one 8" frying pan (and a very small one) which presented a challenge when making a full breakfast for 6 people. However, we were able to work around all of these things and enjoyed our stay. The unit has a wonderful view of the beach and was functional barring those two issues.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Additional cooking ware including skillets will be added this week. The dryer has been repaired as it appears the dryer had been pushed back toward the wall kinking the vent and therefore not allowing for moisture release.

My girlfriends and I stayed at Phoenix 10 for a quick get away weekend. We had the best time. The convenient location of this condo was key to our trip. Everything we were looking for was at our finger tips. This is somewhere we now intend on visiting annually. Mr Patterson made it very easy to book the condo, and made sure we had all the information we need. Thanks again for a great weekend.

We were there for an event at the FloraBama Lounge which is next door to the Phoenix X. 1 minute walk to the FloraBama. Condo is clean, well decorated and as advertised. I would recommend this property to friends.

the process was quick and top shelf treatment. mr. patterson knows how to make a vacation plans seem effortless. easy transaction, and the condo was great. the condo was very clean, large, brand new couch and loveseat, and very relaxing. would definitely recommend this unit and doing business with owner. the phoenix x is a wonderful high rise with fabulous facilities.

Renting with Mr. Patterson through VRBO went very smoothly and was a great first experience. Everything was handled very professionally and it was all simple to do. The condo was great. We love Phoenix 10. We have also stayed in another unit, but the price for this unit is much better and it is just as nice. We will definately stay in this unit again!
