Sodus Bay is known for spectacular water activities: excellent fishing and boating of all types. "Quiet Waters" is conveniently located within minutes of several waterfront restaurants and two marinas, one with boat rentals and bait. You can also go by boat to Sodus Point or take the channel into Lake Ontario. Sodus Point features a sandy beach on the lakefront, two lighthouses and maritime museum, charter fishing, dining, and shopping.
Visit Niagara Falls, Watkins Glen Gorge and Speedway, Letchworth State Park, the spectacular Chimney Bluffs or one of the many area wineries and orchards. If racing or gambling are a part of your vacation plans, there are five nearby casinos and several stock car, speedway, and horse racing tracks to choose from. Enjoy a cruise on the barge canal or go antiquing! Bass Pro is only 45 minutes away!

We (5) had a great week at Quiet Waters. We kayaked to the Point, water skiied, sailed, swam in the bay and Lake Ontario, grilled on the deck and just relaxed. I introduced my friends to Orbakers, Connelly's Cove, Abbott's frozen custard and McGregor's on Irodequoit Bay. Beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The owners are very easy to work with.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We stayed for a week in August and had an awesome time! Lots of great sightseeing and places to eat. The cottage was great, very clean and good amenities. Carol as very helpful with the rental process. We would defininately recommend this cottage for a very peaceful, low key vacation.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
